Democrat worries showing up in their work

Dana Rohrabacher

This is Dana Rohrabacher, California Republican representing the 46th Congressional District.

This is the title of a press release put out by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, per the LA Times:

Not an April Fools’ Day Joke: Representative Dana Rohrabacher Caught Trying to Take Credit for Jobs She Voted Against

It’s clear that the Democrats have done so little research on their targeted Republicans that they can’t even tell the men from the women. Why such sloppy work? Is the feeling of DOOM hampering their concentration, or something?

They basically took one candidates quote, and then changed the name on the top of the press release and applied it to every Republican in the state. The only problem is they didn’t change the name in the article they were quoting, and they ended up getting called out on it.

The dems thought they were going home to a relaxing spring break after passing HC. That is until they saw the latest Gallup Poll which shows that 50 to 46 (Hannity aired April 1st), voters would not re-elect Barack Obama. This is 2 weeks after HC passing. So he didn’t get that jump in the polls and after only one year in office he is the unpopular president. The house of cards is starting to tremble. The fear in dems like Stupak, Boxer and others is showing.

That would be fun to watch. Same exact thing that would happen if someone tried to tell Justice Scalia that Guam may tip over.

Get out of the Supreme Court you big dope!

Accuracy apparently isn’t a major concern for Democrats these days.

At least they’re willing to entertain the notion that Republicans actually elect women.

Anyway, the name is always the first item of assump[tion on their quota checklist. I worked with a reporter named Roderick Robinson. He would get calls from various newspapers seeking to hire him for freelance work. Invariably, they would be looking for an article on the Black Community, Diversity, etc., and he would patiently explain that he was white. You could almost feel the confusion and disappointment emanating from the phone, as the conversation abruptly and awkwardly came to an end.

There hasn’t been a serious challenge to Rohrabacher in a long time. Decades, maybe. Officially, he represents Long Beach, in LA County for about the first two blocks from the beach, but he’s really an Orange County rep.

The only people watching him are local bloggers and a handful of Democratic activists. You all know how strong the Democratic Party is in Orange County. ;)

I’m originally from the OC and I remember the shock when she upset Bob Dornan. Now she’s been there long enough that it will be an upset if she ever loses.
