Rossi Ties Murray

Murray Rossi

It’s the weekend, so I will be brief, but I saw this poll and thought I’d mention it: After so many polls showing him competitive or even close, Dino Rossi has registered a tie with Patty Murray in the Washington Senate race.

47 all (MoE 4.5) in the latest Rasmussen poll. It will be interesting to see how this goes after the first round election when it becomes a proper two way race.

Here is a fairly blue state, not like Vermont or Rhode Island, but pretty blue nonetheless. And here is a chance for a credible, fairly conservative Republican candidate to take a seat from a hardcore liberal Democrat for at least 6 years. That means our the new Republican President we get in 2 years can count on a yes vote from WA for his or her conservative SCOTUS and other court nominees for his or her entire first term at least.

Same goes for IL, WI, etc. Now let’s make this happen people.

to know who I would rather lose more Patty Murray or Babs Boxer.

… via electoral fraud by the Democrat machine in favor of Christine Gregoire, I hope and pray that Rossi and his supporters understand that close isn’t gonna cut it.

In the words of Hugh Hewitt, if it’s not close, they can’t cheat. Rossi needs to do more than pull even, or even ahead by a few percentage points, if he hopes to avoid having another Washington statewide election stolen from him (and the voters) by the Democrats.

    Uh hoh geez…

WASHINGTON — Sen. Patty Murray intended to be provocative when she told a group of high school students terrorist leader Osama bin Laden is popular in poor countries because he helped pay for schools, roads and even day care centers.

“We haven’t done that,” Murray said. “How would they look at us today if we had been there helping them with some of that rather than just being the people who are going to bomb in Iraq and go to Afghanistan?”

I’m surprised Obama hasn’t made her Secretary of Defense yet.

If they’re honestly afraid of fraud they need to be IN the apparatus. Volunteer, get involved, be present. Bring a camera.

Either you’ll scare off the fraud or get proof of it.

Because people claiming fraud without evidence are indistinguishable from sore losers.

I would like to see the boobsie twins who sat and made sure Cluckie Schumer had put all the fraudulent stuff in the middle of the night in the foney fraudulent Cornhusker Kickback for Bennnie Nelson and Hariryless Reid for the foney fraudulent obamacare. I hope they both lose by 10 points or more. We have had all the obama crats we can stand.

    That’s her IQ score, too!

First, the state did not mail its military ballots overseas. After the election, the first recount had Rossi ahead. The second recount “found” just enough ballots to put Gregoire over the top, and accusations of dead people and felon votes being included in the hand recount were summarily dismissed by the judge reviewing the case, without investigation.

Democrats don’t need to commit fraud on election day when everyone is watching. If it’s close, they just do it afterward, using their tentacles in the state party apparatus and sympathetic judiciary.

I lived through it in MN with Al Franken. In Democrat machine states, electoral rules do not apply to Democrats unless the margin of victory for Republicans is insurmountable to the degree that Democrat fraud would stretch credulity too far.

It’s what the Left’s “Secretary of State” project is all about – the notion that it’s he who counts the votes that determines the outcome of elections.

If it’s close, they cheat. They’ve had a few election cycles to perfect their methods. We can expect more, not less. That is why politicians like Dino Rossi and those who support him need to understand that pulling even with Patty Murray and staying there is tantamount to an electoral loss. Dead-heat is a GOP loss.
