Tech at Night: The First Amendment shouldn’t prevent regulation of the Internet?
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | June 26th at 01:30 AM |
Hey, digital libertarians? Hope you’re ready to move on from Barack Obama, His administration thinks the First Amendment is an obstacle to greater government on the Internet, and not something that must be respected or protected by the courts when it gets in the way. This of course turns the First Amendment on its head. I guess in the Democrat parallel world Tim Wu and | Read More »

By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | April 28th at 12:00 AM |
Good evening. I’m not seeing anything huge as we pass the middle of the week. But, you never know what will become important, so let’s take a look at what caught my eye so far this week. Even as Mary Bono Mack seeks to legislate on the news, or at least introduces a bill to make people feel better, Apple explains that the “location tracking” | Read More »

Tech at Night: Net Neutrality, ACLU, Google
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | October 28th at 03:30 AM |

It’s all a bunch of garbage.

By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | September 23rd at 03:30 AM |
Hello! As it crosses midnight here in California, I apologize for the lateness but do return with yet another installment of Tech at Night. Still don’t believe the socialist pushes at the FCC are driven in part by a desire to get free stuff? Take a look at the ITU Broadband Plan for the whole world, what with its insistence that governments must build Internet | Read More »

Carly Fiorina: Supporting a free Internet means supporting child rape?
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | November 6th at 09:38 PM |
Carly Fiorina truly is panicked. The NRSC has been spooked by the Scozzafava/Hoffman/Owens race, and is more or less going to leave Fiorina out to dry. And while she got the support of conservative favorite Tom Coburn to match Chuck DeVore’s Jim DeMint, the rest of her supporters paint a different picture. Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Olympia Snowe, Lisa Murkowski: to many of us, these | Read More »
