Tech at Night: Net Neutrality, Copyright, Patent, Security
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | March 1st at 03:30 AM |
Hello! There’s no one clear theme of things to discuss tonight. It’s a diverse list of topics, so let’s just muddle on through and see what’s going on. We’ve got some good news from what the Republicans in Washington are going. On the Senate side, the side we haven’t heard nearly as much about thanks to the Obama-Reid majority there, conservative Republicans are taking key | Read More »

An outlier, or a tight Pennsylvania?
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | October 19th at 06:00 PM |
Republican Pat Toomey has been rather comfortable in the Pennsylvania Senate polling. He hit double digits in the last Rasmussen poll a week ago, and Democrat Joe Sestak hasn’t led a poll since one weird outlier in the middle of May. For PPP to show Sestak up today is definitely surprising, and noteworthy, but it’s possible this is an outlier.
Toomey comfortably ahead, says two (and a half) polls
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | August 18th at 04:30 PM |
Good afternoon. My life gets much easier when polls agree, and that’s the state of the race for the Senate in Pennsylvania. We have two polls out directly comparing Republican Pat Toomey and Democrat Joe Sestak, as well as a poll on the Governor’s race. All three favor Pat Toomey by a healthy margin.
Corbett steady as Toomey and Sestak joust

From Unlikely Voter: While the Pennsylvania Senate race has lived up to my expectations of volatility (Rasmussen has swing from Pat Toomey +8 to Joe Sestak +4 back to Toomey +6 most recently), the race for Governor has been pretty boring. No matter how many times this race gets polled, Republican Tom Corbett defies the recent partisan trend of Pennsylvania and consistently leads Democrat Dan | Read More »
Rasmussen updates on Sestak/Toomey
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | June 4th at 01:59 PM |
We’re in for the long haul in the Pennsylvania Senate race, because I honestly do expect this one to be in the toss-up range from now to Election Day, but that doesn’t mean we don’t get to check in on the polls obsessively the whole time looking for clues. Today: Rasmussen updates on the race.

How does Sestak match up against Toomey?
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | May 11th at 02:30 PM |
Thanks to Arlen Specter’s collapse, it’s now more than academic to see how Joe Sestak matches up against Pat Toomey in the Pennsylvania Senate rate. So, on to Rasmussen’s poll from the 6th.
Comparing two Pennsylvania polls

Yesterday we looked at a poll from Public Policy Polling, but today we have a new poll from Quinnipiac University. Amusingly enough, while we’ve seen Quinnipiac overcount Democrats in Ohio, their results for Specter and Sestak come in just under PPP’s findings.
