MEMBER DIARY

Commander in Thief….Ha Ha!

I got this from PajamasMedia and Vodka Pundit. It was from the march on Washington today.

Over a millon people many have estimated. Michelle says two million. That is unbelievable. I’m speechless. The lefties never got a million people to march on their best day and here we have Conservatives doing this. By nature I think that Conseratives are quiet people who are mostly too busy living their own lives to do stuff like this so when a crowd of them this large assembles you can bet they are pretty damn mad.
Congress would be wise to pay attention. That is of course assuming they want to keep their jobs.

This photo is pretty damn funny.
I’m a big fan of blatant disrespect.

One of my favorite things (and there are dozens of favorites) about today is that this all went down in the seat of government power. AND it went down in a city and part of the country that has been dominated by liberal thought control and governance. What say you lamestream media and other socialists in government? How did you like our little party? I watched coverage and the presenters had many themes, but my favorite had to be from a coal miner who stated, We Will Fire You.

Well, we can see that we have already fired most of the lamestream – they just don’t know it yet. From dropping ratings for the lamestream to dwindling polls for democrats to the saving of our freedom. Today is a great beginning.

trying to get some good coverage on this is like trying to get a hamburger at a PETA picnic.
I remember well the war protests that were’nt even a tenth of this and the reporters were were all over them like white on rice.
Cindy Sheehan had twenty supporters and a hundred reporters. Martha’s Vineyard excluded.
The old media thinks they can put up curtains and it will stop a freight train.
They will learn a hard lsson next year.

taking video & photos…..they have been doing this at every tea party rally. They go back and show fellow lefties who “dangerous” & deminted us conservatives are. They will try to rally the lefties but if ACORN goes out of business, who will pay them to counter-protest?

how she never answered the question? Typical liberal tactic…try to deflect the focus from your ignorance to anything else.

Any situation that doesn’t give us an opportunity to demonstrate contempt or to mock Comrade Obama and his useful idiots should just be ignored. The goal here is to provoke the Left to do ever more stupid and extreme things. They really have no governing principles other than disruption, burn it down as Alinsky said, so everything they do is to provoke someone; pull the tiger’s tail, speak truth to power. So, if they only get mocked or ignored, they do ever more stupid and outrageous things and every day and in every way make themselves more contemptible.

I read Rules for Radicals before it was cool!

happen if we held a protest and everybody came. One thing I did note is that there was no rock star present. No free lunch. No headliner entertainment. The donkeys have to be running for the Imodium.

as the estimate for Obamas townhall today was reported to have about 15,000 people in attendance. They think that was a “big” crowd as a reporter said today. I suspect that that the crowd today in Washington was much much bigger than Obama’s crowd for his assencion into the presidency.

      • NeoKong

That was a huge crowd. Those are motivated people.
They are not college students or professional radicals or union members.
They are people who are mad, angry, scared and upset that their govt. is trying to take away their freedom and their rights.
They know that under Emperor Obama their lives will get worse and not better.
They know their wallets will get smaller and not bigger..
        Obama IS a socialist.

    Agreed.

And I appreciate their efforts. But if that’s ALL they are doing, not much will change. Conservatives will change the Party, and the outcome of the next round of elections, much more readily if they will come into the Party as precinct committeemen.

I dare say many of the folks at the 9/12 rallies, maybe even most of them, have no idea that about one half of the precinct committeeman slots nationwide in the Republican Party nationwide are empty. Many of them don’t even know what a precinct committeeman is. (By the way, ever wonder why Michael Steele has yet to deliver on his promised Web 2.0 tools at GOP.com? Why should he? It’s not like there’s a strong majority of conservatives nationwide in the PC ranks demanding it.)

My experience at the Tea Parties and protests here in the Phoenix area has been that many will go to Tea Party after protest after Tea Party, but they don’t know what a precinct committeeman is or why it’s vitally important to become one. I’ve also found that many of them will, if informed, channel their motivation and energy into where it can really matter: in becoming a voting member of the Party and part of a new majority of conservatives within the Party, assuming enough conservatives join to create a strong working majority, which we don’t have now.

We’re having some success in my county. I’ve posted about it here:

    http://www.redstate.com/coldwarrior/2009/09/02/434-new-conservative-precinct-committeemen-and-counting/

We’re in even worse shape here in Maricopa County — at the time of the last election, we had fewer than one-third of the available precinct committeeman slots filled. And those were split about 50-50 between conservatives and moderates.

The moderates in the Party obviously do not want conservatives to come into the Party, as that might cause the moderates to get booted out of their leadership posts. I dare say many of the conservative elected officials and leaders also don’t want new conservative “blood” in the Party because it might mean their friends, too, in the leadership will also lose their posts to the new blood. When was the last time you heard an elected conservative imploring conservatives to come into the Party as PCs. Maybe Jim DeMint or Mike Pence said that today. I hope so. Or maybe Tom Price did. (I was recruiting today at the 9/12 rally at the AZ capitol today so didn’t see their speeches.) I hope so. But I doubt it.

So I’ll keep saying it if they won’t. If you clicked on the link above, you’ll see that I got Sen. Russell Pearce to say it to the audience at the 4/15/2009 Tea Party here in AZ and he says he now makes that pitch whenever he speaks to conservatives.

I hope, if you aren’t yet a precinct committeeman, you’ll become one.

    Thank you.
