Hey Geraldo…whose side are you on…?

From Mediaite.

Why don't I draw you a map...?
Why don’t I draw you a map…?

Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera was in Libya getting some face time with the rebels nobody seems to know and I guess he thought Fox’s world wide audience was just an intimate private conversation because he basically tells the whole world how inexperienced, untrained, unprofessional and pretty much not much of a threat if compared to real trained soldiers the rebels are.
He even cautions anyone thinking of arming the rebels not to do it because he thinks they will be a danger to themselves and those around him.
He said he was as worried about getting shot by the rebels than he was getting shot by Gaddaffi’s men.
He had nothing good to say about them and was pretty much saying what a pushover they would be if someone was you know….listening.
I’m not kidding. Not only does he completely sell out the rebels who are protecting him and allowing him to film he also tells the world exactly where he was which was Brega.

I sure hope for Geraldo’s sake that none of the rebels speak english and watch Fox News because they might be a little pissed at the backstabbing their new friend gave them.

Oh and apparently he was under fire or something bluh blah blah…..

Another useless speech by Obama.

From I Hate The Media

As you may have read the not so small African country Côte d’Ivoire or the “Ivory Coast” is experiencing a dirty little war following a 2010 election in which the incumbent ruler Laurent Gbagbo lost to challenger Alassane Ouattara but has called the election a fraud and refused to step down. Now under the useless supervision of the French and the U.N. the two sides are battling it out to control this nation of 21 million people who have no oil.
They have cocoa.
There have been massacres of civilians that Human Rights Watch blames mostly on ousted president Laurent Gbagbo with also some incidents of civilian deaths attributed to the newly recognized president Alassane Ouattara

The vast majority of abuses documented by Human Rights Watch were perpetrated by forces loyal to Gbagbo against real or perceived Ouattara supporters, notably members of political parties allied to Ouattara, as well as West African immigrants and Muslims. The documented abuses include targeted killings, enforced disappearances, politically motivated rapes, and unlawful use of lethal force against unarmed demonstrators. These abuses, committed over a four-month period by security forces under the control of Gbagbo and militias loyal to him, may rise to the level of crimes against humanity as defined by the Rome Statute, which created the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Human Rights Watch has also documented extrajudicial executions by Ouattara’s forces against alleged pro-Gbagbo supporters and combatants detained in Ouattara territory since the Forces Nouvelles gained effective control of parts of Abidjan in late February. Human Rights Watch documented 11 such cases from both witnesses and perpetrators – including three detainees who were burned alive and another four whose throats were slit, acts amounting to war crimes under international humanitarian law. Credible reports indicate the death toll may be higher.

Gbagbo lost but he just won’t go and forces loyal to him and paid mercenaries are taking it out on the civilians with reports of as many as 1,000 murdered in just the last few days.

JOHANNESBURG — Unknown attackers wielding machetes and guns killed more than 1,000 civilians in the neighborhood of an Ivory Coast town controlled by forces fighting to install the internationally recognized president, the Catholic charity Caritas told The Associated Press Saturday.

Well…since we now have the Obama Doctrine which is the policy of intervention before the mass graves are discovered the President felt compelled to weigh in on the subject.
He weighed in like a feather in the wind.
Pay attention to his manner as he speaks.
Does he speak like a man concerned for genocide or is it more like he is telling us a bedtime story ?
It’s almost like he wants to start off by saying Once upon a time….

It’s empty and emotionless.

In his little speech he offers the “Ivorians” no help.
He does not condemn the violence forcefully or Laurent Gbagbo by name or call for him to step down.
He does not call for the French who have thousand of troops there to intervene militarily.
He doesn’t even mention them or the damn U.N. who is supposed to be supervising this whole mess.
It seems both parties are at fault and they should all just have a beer summit.
His whole speech had the feel as if he was talking about some little fence dispute between neighbors and had no mention of the genocide that as we all know concerns the President greatly.

As the world waits for some red meat with Obama in regards to foreign policy the President serves up rice cakes.
No blood for cocoa I guess.

90 girls pregnant at Memphis high/middle school.

You have got to be kidding me.   Maybe  Michelle Obama can look into this when she is done telling everybody what to eat.

What in the world is going on at Frayser Middle/High School in Memphis, Tenn.? More girls are carrying babies than backpacks!

There are a reported 90 teens who are pregnant now or who have had a baby this school year. Eleven percent of the school’s female population is already in the throes of parenthood.

Let me describe to you a liberal’s paradise.  Frayser Middle/High School is in a low income area where 98% of the student body is black and 100% are eligible for low income food assistance and 90 teenage girls in one school are pregnant.   Ain’t that lovely ?   So how does this happen…?

Heckuva job.

In Memphis, the teen pregnancy rate is between 15 percent and 20 percent – and in Frayser, the rate is 26 percent, said Deborah Hester Harrison, executive director of Memphis’ Girls Inc. It’s no surprise that Harrison places at least part of the blame on the media, such as the popular MTV shows “16 and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom.”

“So much of our society is sexually oriented. As adults we can look at that and it doesn’t impact us, but kids are different,” Harrison said.

Memphis’ Girls Inc. is all over it.

Memphis City School officials will set the initiative in motion on Jan. 20. The campaign will be run by Girls Inc., an organization that’s been helping girls in Memphis improve their self-esteem for the past several decades. The “No Baby!” all-out massive effort to stomp out teen pregnancy will hopefully get the message across to teens to say no to having sex and having babies. “No Baby!” will only encourage abstinence and not provide contraceptives but will give teens the proper tools on how to protect themselves should they decide to engage in sexual relations.

Memo to Girl’s Inc.    Try a little harder.

I don’t know where to begin with this. This blows my mind.   Not only are most of these kid’s from low income and most likely broken home families now they are pregnant to boot while they are still in high school.  If one in five breaks out of that cycle of poverty and actually is able to support themselves then I would be surprised.

I don’t have any information on exactly how many girls are from broken homes (72% on average) or homes that are already on public assistance but if 100% are eligible for reduced price lunches it is a good bet that many are already in the system.  And now many will remain in  the system with a brand new baby who will also grow up in the system and who will probably have even less of a chance of escaping the generational poverty that runs through their family.   That’s what I call generational welfare.  That’s where the grandmother, the daughter and now the infant from one family are all receiving public assistance.   No doubt free health care too.   Multiply that by 90 and consider what that costs every month.   And what about the baby daddy….?  Behind bars or will be soon.

We know by now, of course, that the situation is grave. We know that more than a third of black children live in poverty; that more than 70 percent are born to unwed mothers; that by the time they reach their mid-30s, a majority of black men without a high school diploma has spent time in prison. We know all this, but no one seems to know how to turn things around. No one has been able to stop this steady plunge of young black Americans into a socioeconomic abyss.

In 2008, black males were imprisoned at a rate six-and-a-half times higher than white males.

Now let’s think 16 years into the future.   How many of those kid’s will also be pregnant or in trouble with the law, a high school drop out or dead ?

Children of unmarried mothers of any race are more likely to perform poorly in school, go to prison, use drugs, be poor as adults, and have their own children out of wedlock.

It’s a disaster.   These kid’s are doomed.

Because we all know how much the left condemns violent gun imagery.

Oh what a difference a (D) makes.

Remember how Keith Olbermann got all up in arms over this….?

Joe Manchin standing there with a loaded rifle claiming how he will keep the Federal Govt. and Barack Obama off the backs of West Virginians.   Cap and Trade….?   He will take dead aim at it.

I’m pretty sure that Sarah Palin has never made a political ad  claiming how she will take on Washington and the Obama administration while holding a loaded rifle.  I am also pretty sure that she never fired a bullet through what many Democrats consider to be one their most important bills.   Had she done any of that we all know it would be considered a direct threat on the lives of the President and Democrats in Washington.

CBS didn’t really seem to have a problem with the ad either.   They briefly touched on it. Manchin answered and then they all just moved on.

Oh well.   I guess it didn’t matter too much to the left like with Sarah Palin’s violent and inflammatory election target map which they all know with absolute certainty was a not to subtle call too murder Democrats.

The Joe Manchin thing ? It was just a harmless election ad.

It’s on baby ! DeMint vows to reverse FCC’s ‘Internet takeover’

On Tuesday Dec. 21st the FCC chaired by Julius Genachowski voted 3-2 to regulate the internet in what is called net neutrality.

The purpose of net neutrality is to impose restrictions on companies like Comcast or Verizon to decide just who can and can’t use the internet infrastructure that they have built.  It’s many critics say it is a solution to a problem that didn’t exist.

For someone who has such an extensive legal background this Julius Genachowski fellow don’t seem so bright.

First  a U.S. Court of Appeals told him he could not do it.  Then dozen and dozens members of Congress told him he could not do it quite plainly.

On Wednesday, a group of 29 Republican Senators sent their own letter to Chairman Genachowski, warning him that if the FCC proceeds to vote for the provisions, they will actively work to repeal them in the next Congress. The letter’s signers, including Sens. Kay Bailey Hutchinson of Texas, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Jon Kyl of Arizona, and Chuck Grassley of Iowa, also questioned the agency’s authority.

“You and the Commission’s general counsel have admitted in published statements that the legal justification for imposing these new regulations is questionable and ‘has a serious risk of failure in court,’” the letter said.

So what does he do….?

He goes ahead and does it anyways.    Well now it seems it might be getting undid.

Seriously …..what was he thinking…?

Sen. Jim DeMint, R-SC, says Federal Communications Commission should be renamed the “Fabricating a Crisis Commission,” following a vote by the panel’s three Democrats to approve proposed rules that amount to a hostile takeover of the Internet by a government agency acting illegally.
Ouch.  Could it be any clearer ?

A federal court has ruled that the commission has no authority to regulate the Internet, and a bipartisan group of senators and representives warned Genechowski not to attempt to impose a regulatory regime on the Internet earlier this year.

The move’s legality was even questioned by FCC Commissioner Michael Copp, one of the Democrats who voted today with Genachowski, saying he considered voting against the proposal because it lacks a sufficiently defensible legal basis to survive a court challenge promised by major Internet Service Providers like Verizon, Microsoft, and AT & T.

But legal challenges by industry are likely to be much less of a problem for the Genachowski-led takeover than efforts in Congress to stop the FCC in its tracks.

So why did he do it…?   He has been told time and time again quite bluntly in fact that if he did it would be undone and yet still does it anyways.
Did he think everyone was joking…?
Was the U.S. Court of Appeals playing a prank on him ?
Was the letter from Congress lost in the mail ?
How many times does he have to be told….?
Look at it this way.  You go to the mall to buy me a nice bottle of bourbon.   Makers Mark is fine. Don’t spend too much.  The lot is crowded so you decide to pull right up to the front entrance and park in the fire lane right under the Do Not Park sign.  As you get out of the car a securty guard comes up to you and says ” Excuse me sir you cannot park there”
You respond. “Hey rent-a- cop… go get a real job flatfoot”.
He responds ” Sir, I am telling you very certainly that if you park there your car will be towed.”
Your response. ” Gas it up and have it waxed there too  Skippy. I’ll be back for it in an hour”.
The guard shakes his head and says “Ok sir. I warned you” and is reaching for his walkie talkie as you walk through the door.
An hour later you come out and your car is gone.
(Gomer Pyle) Surprise surprise surprise.
Who would do that…?
No one.
So why does this Genachowski guy go ahead and try to takeover the internet when everybody told him not to do it ?
Now not only is he going to get snapped back very hard and very publicly he will come off looking like a jackass.  He will embarrass the President too as Jim Demint will try and flex his new found muscle along with the House which has made their position on this perfectly clear.
This is going to be funny.

I refuse to take down my Bielat for Congress sign.

No way. Ain’t gonna’ do it.
That goes for my bumper sticker too.
I scraped off my McCain/Palin sticker the day after the 2008 election but this time I’m not going to budge.
I just can’t do it.
I won’t do it.
I won’t give them the satisfaction.
I’m gonna’ keep that damn sign out on my front porch until the next election if I have to to protest the utter jackassery and ignorance of the voters of the MA 4th CD.

They re-elected the biggest most arrogant and corrupt jerk in Congress Barney Frank when they had the opportunity to finally get rid of him and get someone who looks like he came right out of central casting for a remake of Mr. Smith goes to Washington with Sean Bielat.
” The people of my state need permanent relief from crooked men riding their backs.”
I took it a little hard.
Now I’m just mad.

We had an opportunity to rid us of the most insufferable boor the House had beside Alan Grayson.
A man who has the grace and demeanor and charm of sand paper.
A guy who needs a corkscrew to put his pants on.
A guy so clueless about how money is made or earned that he couldn’t even oversee a turnkey prostitution business from his home.
A man who took his dimwitted boyfriend on a luxury vacation on a private jet to the Virgin Islands paid for by a man who received $200 million dollar bailout. S. Donald Sussman.
Frank claimed the trip was worth $ 1,500. Yeah right…..maybe by the hour.
A man who openly insults his constituents at a town meeting.
A man who even admitted the he had no clue the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were imminent even though Republicans had been warning about it for years.
Even Alan Greenspan warned us all over five years ago.
Barney opposed reform.
Thanks Barney. Heckuva’ job.

Honestly….what do you have to do to get fired in Massachusetts….?
A state where three Speakers of the State House in a row all plead guilty to federal corruption charges.
A state where drowning a girl in your car is actually an asset at election time.
A state where if your wife is indicted for laundering $7 million dollars for her fugitive felon brother and pleads guilt to tax fraud you can claim ignorance and skate to victory.

We could have had a new Congressman we could be proud of but no.
We still got Elmer Fudd.
That’s why I’m leaving my sign up.
I’m going to remind those fools every single day the opportunity they passed up.
I thought maybe when Scott Brown got elected that maybe they were finally waking up.
I was wrong. It was like they all OD-ed on dummy pills.
This state is retaaaahded.

Damn them all to hell.

A very good day for Bielat for Congress.

Oh yeah….I was working the curb today for my good buddy Sean Bielat and I had plenty of company.
We were doing a “stand out”. That’s where we stand out on the corner and hold signs.
Our stand out was outstanding.
We had two today right in the heart of Barney Frank’s most liberal towns. Newton and Brookline Ma.
First we did one at the intersection of Beacon and Centre St.( pronounced “center”)in Newton. A pretty toney area. Beacon St. runs from Wellesley right through Newton and past Boston College to Brookline and straight into Boston and finally ends at the State House.
John Kerry’s Boston town house is on Beacon st.
The average price for a home on Beacon or Centre St. is about a million dollars. Some are much more.
We owned that town.
We took over the entire intersection with fifty or sixty people and we all had signs.
We were like an army and when we all cheered together we made some noise.
See for yourself.
Please excuse the size of the photos but Photobucket sucks at resizing a photo and believe me I tried.
Or maybe I’m just an idiot.

The big guy was there too.

Photobucket
We were even endorsed by the man of steel.
Photobucket

We rocked that place

After that I went home and had some lunch then I went in to the office to do some phone banking.
I got the very last available phone.
The place was packed.
Photobucket

Photobucket

I had only made about twenty calls when a staffer came in and said “We need bodies to go to Brookline at Coolidge corner. Channel 7 is coming to interview Sean.”
Half the office cleared out and I went to Brookline for my second standout.
As you can see.

Photobucket

It wasn’t as big as the first but compare it to the most pathetic showing that Barney Frank supporters could barely muster.
They showed up an hour after we arrived. No doubt someone had made a frantic phone call. It was probably their whole office.

Photobucket
There also were people standing next to me that are not in the other photo.

People were honking and waving and it was a pretty good showing.
The news lady showed up and interviewed Sean with his wife and their new baby.
Can you imagine how good he looked compared to Barney Frank ?
It was apple pie. It was all American. He’s really good on camera.
The only way that people get to see Barney Frank lately is on the back of a milk carton.
He cannot risk going to an open public event. He’ll get booed
The best part was that the Barney supporters must have been heartbroken because the reporter just walked right by them like they weren’t even there.
No interview. Nothing.
Ha Ha !!!!!

And as usual I got some face time with the big guy himself.
We’re hanging out together all the time now.
He’s lost without me.

Photobucket

Well that’s my report.
I hope you liked it.

Manning the phones with Bielat for Congress.

Oh yeah…..I was there at Ground Zero for Bielat for Congress.
I gave plenty of money.
I put out my lawn sign.
I put my bumper sticker on my truck on the outside on the paint because that shows commitment. Any body can tape it to the rear windshield on the inside.
I held up signs in traffic.
Today I phone banked.
I’m all in baby and I’m not done yet.
All hands on deck.

I had never held up campaign signs or phone banked before but this election is too important to sit back and hope someone else gets it done.
I ain’t looking for hope.
I’m looking for results.
I got my butt off the couch.

I arrived about 3:30 this afternoon and when I walked through the door I was met by the same nice lady Terry who met me last time I was there.
I said ” Aahh hey… I got some free time this afternoon, can I help out…?”
“You want to make some phone calls?” she said.
“Giddy up”
I replied.
They logged me in and two minutes later I was sitting down next to a very nice lady named Linda who showed me what to do.

They had it all set up easy so even a chimp could do it.
Unfortunately I had no chimp of my own so I had to learn to do it myself.
All I had to do was hit the next call button and a name and county came upon the screen and the phone started ringing.
All my calls tonight were to Norfolk county.
A lot of Irish names.

There were six kinds of calls responses.
1. The hang up. Then you hit next call.

2. The most common result was the voice mail. Then you leave a recorded message from Sean. When you are tight with Mr. Bielat like I am you get to call him Sean.

3. The “Thanks , we’re all set” and click.

4. The people who actually tolerated you daring to invade their privacy who were polite but brief.
“Ok… well thank you, I’d rather not say but goodbye.”

5. The people who actually supported Barney Frank although they couldn’t tell you why.

6. And finally the people who were thrilled you called and could not wait to tell you how much they did not like Barney and wanted him fired.

For the most part the last group was by far the biggest group of people who answered the phone.
Everyone we talked to had us on caller ID so they knew who we were before they picked up.
I had one guy tonight pick up the phone screaming ” Dude…Bielat for Congress. F(){l< ing A. !!!”
I couldn’t get rid of him. I almost had to hang up on him but because he was so excited I was glad to listen.
I got a few responses like that.
Some people were quite glad to talk.
We were having a ball.
We were all sitting right next to each other so you could tell when someone was getting a good response.

A lot of times the person I was calling was not there but someone else answered so I would leave a message. “I was just calling on behalf of Sean Bielat for Congress and wanted to remind (insert name here) to please come out and vote on Tuesday.
Is this Mrs. (insert name here)…?
How about you maam ? What do you think, are you going to vote on Tuesday ?”
You are ? Oh gee that’s fantastic. We can’t wait to see you on Tuesday. Thanks for listening and have a good night.”

Sometimes I got one of their kids.
I didn’t care. I still left a message that we hoped that their parent turned out Tuesday to vote.
I had no shame.
” Make sure you tell daddy that Sean Bielat is a fiscal conservative and he doesn’t hate Santa Claus like Barney Frank does.”

You got a problem with that….?

All in all it was a very good experience and I want to do more tomorrow.
I’m going to hold a sign again tomorrow in Newton Center on Beacon St. and after I’ll hit the phones again for a little while.
It was sort of fun but also quite important.
I was glad to do it and wished I had started earlier.
I made 275 calls today.
When I got home my hand was numb and my ears were ringing and my cheek was getting a rash.
I don’t care.
You gotta’ take one for the team sometimes.
A little ice and some phisoderm and I was a new man.

The best part was that I got to hang out ( again) with the big guy, Sean Bielat.
We were like peas and carrots.
See for yourself.
A free slurpee to the first person to decipher my little sign.

Photobucket

Thank you.
We are almost there.

Once again….on the ground with Bielat for Congress.

Oh yeah…. I was hanging out with my best bud Sean Bielat today in Wellesley Mass.
We were campaigning together.
Me and him are tight.
It was a little meet and greet for people who wanted to meet the man who will knock off Barney Frank in the Ma. 4th CD
Wellesley ain’t exactly a conservative town. That didn’t stop us. Sean has the blue collar vote locked up and now he is trying to wittle down Barney’s base at ground zero.
For those of you familiar with the area we were at the intersection of Rte. 9 and Rte. 16 which is just a stones throw away from Wellesley College and Regis College.
It was libtown baby.

When I arrived about 4:30 there was a nice little crowd going on and they all had signs and were waving to traffic.
Sean was there too in very good spirits.

As soon as I walked up I was immediately welcomed and someone said “Want a sign…?”
“You’re damn skippy I do” I said. “Gimme’ one of those puppies”
So there I was hanging out with the Seanmeister holding my sign and waving to the traffic.
It was pretty cool. I’m gonna’ do it again on Saturday on Beacon St. in Newton.
I got to shake hands with Sean and I told him “Thank you for running”.
He thanked me for my support.
Holding a Bielat sign in Wellesley Mass. is like being a Marine recruiter in Berkeley Ca.

Over all though we were getting some pretty good responses which was remarkable considering where we were.
Lot’s of people were honking their horns and waving back to us.
An old lady was stopped in her car at the light and was looking over. We waved at her and smiled.
She flipped us the bird.
Another person just passing by as he was walking his two little lap dogs just starting screaming at Mr. Bielat for no good reason.
“BARNEY FRANK FOR CONGRESS” he screamed twice like he was about to set off a suicide belt. Then he shouted at Sean “You’re a damn fool” as he dragged away his dogs.
It was hilarious.
The lefties are really really uptight for some reason.
Aren’t they always though…?

Well that was my little report.
I gave a lot of money.
I have my lawn sign out.
I’m out holding signs and tomorrow I want to do some phone banking.
NeoKong is on the job out here in Fort Apache.
It’s the least I can do for the guy is days away from doing all of America a super huge favor.

Enjoy the pics.
That is Sean in the light blue shirt.

Photobucket

An interesting sign.

Photobucket

Some of the shock troops.

Photobucket

Sean again mixing it up with a supporter and his grand son.

Photobucket

This is it people. We are coming down to the wire.
We are the people we have been waiting for.
What have you done today to push us all across the finish line. destroy the Democrat party…?
