That ‘Other’ Sexual Harrassment

OK, OK, we have heard about so-called sexual harassment for decades now.

And the charges only apply to conservatives. Liberals can drown women (Ted Kennedy) be accused of harassing, groping and even raping women (Bill Clinton) or impregnate women (John Edwards, Jesse Jackson) with no penalty whatsoever or with a total Media Left coverup. In fact such behavior is a resume enhancer in the land of liberalism. With not a peep from feminists.

But if a conservative says “Good morning” to a female co-worker in the wrong tone of voice he is accused of sexual harassment.

Now consider the biggest inter-gender calamity of the last 6,000 years and that is female sexual harassment (FSH) in which men are savaged, criticized, minimized, henpecked and threatened by irrational feminine rage. And today FSH extends to the workplace as women have gained more economic power.

FSH in the workplace is an offshoot of the relentless harassment of conservatives everywhere in American life. If you as a conservative have ever worked in any liberal/urban workplace in America, you know how the harassment works. It is often subtle or it is portrayed as “jesting” or “pointed political discourse” or “offhanded insults”. But it in fact is a relentless assault on your way of thinking. It never ends. And there never is any punishment for it. Ever.

Today workplace FSH works like this: Imagine you are a man – worst of all a conservative man – and you work under a feminist boss or alongside feminists. How much harassment can be directed at you simply because you are a man?

Lots. Rest assured. And the males who are targeted will never admit it for fear of their jobs. Because they have no recourse. Or else they do not even know what is happening because they spend every minute sweating about every syllable they utter that might offend a feminist in the office.

It would be great to start blowing the lid off of these finger-pointing feminists, to start getting testimonials from hundreds of thousands of men who have been henpecked in the workplace on account of their gender, especially conservative men.

And it would be great to put Hillary and Oprah and Madonna and all the other feminist ragemeisters from Follywood to Chicago to New York on the congressional hot seat with an extensive inquiry into FSH.

Yes, let’s have men now reluctantly “come forward” with their stories of intimidation and fear. Let them talk about how their feminist boss’s rage made them “very uncomfortable” in the workplace or forced them to resign.

But of course no legal recourse or payout is available to these men because FSH is not yet codified the way that sexual harassment by males against females has been codified since the Clarence Thomas accusations.

We should start to codify FSH starting today.

Imagine this testimony from a male witness: “My feminist boss (or co-worker) seemed to single me out for harsh comments and treatment because I am a man. No females were ever subjected to the same kind of treatment.”

This is not far fetched, friends. Because feminists are trained to hate men and to sniff out every ounce of discrimination and harassment – or to fabricate it – seeing a sexist bogeyman under every desk and bed. Many feminists are, in a word, paranoid.

In fact FSH is manifested all over our culture in TV and advertising and everywhere else in the Media Left. It is a constant stream of attacks on men by females. One recent web advertisement for Tide detergent shows a husband and wife folding their children’s clothing after the wash. They are talking happily about their wonderful kids. Then the woman ends the ad with this snickering attack on her husband: “You suck at folding”.

And the insult is supposed to be so funny! Yes! We are all supposed to laugh! And the stupid actor husband, of course, is scripted then to laugh as if to say, “Insult me again, please, honey! Because you are better than me!”

Is “You suck at folding” just a minor slip-up? Nothing to get upset about? A cute interlude? To make us laugh?

Get serious. No. These advertising people scrupulously plan out every single word and action. This was just another attack on men out of millions every year, this one created by the liberals who dominate the advertising industry and approved by the liberal media department at Tide.

And remember that more and more corporations themselves are liberal and are under pressure to be feminist, environmentalist etc. And any man who sees it for what it is gets attacked. For exposing the truth.

Just imagine an ad where a man insults a female. You never see it compared to the barrage of anti-man commercials where the man is made to look stupid – always a white man, by the way.

This is legal harassment. And it is time for men to start filing lawsuits against these corporations and employers. Here is the opening of a radio advertisement for a bank in Massachusetts:

Man: “Honey, where are my glasses?”

Woman: “Right on your forehead, next to the big mole!”

Oh, so cute! The man is obviously so stupid that he does not even know where his glasses are! And they are right on his head! And he has a big mole because he is so ugly!

A Subaru advertisement from Autumn 2010 showed a man and woman traveling. He thinks that he has lost his sunglasses. They revisit every place they stopped that day to look for the glasses. Then the husband finds the glasses in his pocket. And the wife rolls her eyes. Stupid man!

See how it works? And no it isn’t, cute. It is vicious and unrelenting. And completely unneccessary. Except that it is yet another channel for feminists and their friends in the media to insult and attack white men in another venue. And it must end now.

Men, let’s get hip. Let’s start fighting back. Let the lawsuits begin. Come out from under your rocks and counterattack. Before it is too late.

…is something I have noticed for years now, and gotten really upset about, and think is perfectly suited for a lawsuit, especially because discovery would show hundreds and hundreds of television advertisements designed to make white men look stupid and inferior to women. Who wants to be the test case of this?

how to retrieve older comments that I have made, I would do so. First, I will tell you that I am a 71 year-old woman, and a couple of weeks ago I posted a rant about the femi-nazi females(?), as Rush calls them, have ruined so much of our society. You are absolutely correct about the ads – even the ones with children in them – where the man is made to look like a total doofus. Good grief! I don’t know how you guys stand it!

Yes, this has been coming for decades. It really got going way back Gloria Steinem’s day (bless her ignorant soul) and blossomed full-bloom shortly thereafter. What a sad thing to witness!

If I had more time, I would elaborate further. Have to dash fairly quickly for an appointment, though. I’ll leave you with this, I will say that no true conservative women would subscribe to the femi-nazi credo – it is totally against everything God intended. You are not alone in this!

in growing numbers are not sure what their role is. They watch their confused dad’s that don’t know how to turn a wrench and wouldn’t dream of it anyway because it might mess up their ‘mannie’. The metrosexualization of men (including the current guy in the WH) is ruining our young boys and men. Fewer and fewer of them go out for contact sports, they don’t know what its like to mow a lawn or rake leaves, let alone bale hay or detassle sweet corn. Part time jobs after school (they are out there–start knocking on doors of seniors that need help; you won’t get $15 bucks an hour, though, sorry) are now replaced with video games and listening to lyrics in music that is not just inappropriate, but downright dangerous. Schools are wimping out to please the federal govt., teacher’s unions and nanny state mentality parents. We need a tough president that will cut through this BS and get our country back on track!

your assessment. You need look no further than our Dear Reader who resides in OUR White House to see the epitome of a neutered wimp! No wonder he is a psychiatrist’s dream patient – or should be.

I have a son who was brought up to be a MAN, and he is that. A good, decent, honest, hard-working, yet kind-hearted man’s man who loves his Mom and his little family – not unlike our guy Perry. My daughter was brought up to be a lady, and she is just that – a beautiful lady who is a good wife, mother and nurturer, good cook and nest builder. They are my heart’s blessings from above, along with my grandchildren, and now 3 precious little great-grandchildren.

I agree with every word you wrote, circle. I would add one other thing about our society as it stands – that has to do with the stupid texting that goes on continually. You see it in restaurants, grocery store check-out lines, while driving, etc. Well, this gal refuses to text and have had the the internet disconnected from my cell. Don’t want to receive a text and don’t want to send one. The reason? I feel that such activities, along with others techie things, have taken away most of our youth’s social skills and it will only get worse. I have told my friends and family that I don’t want to read a text, I want to hear their voices, for heaven’s sakes. They could text me that they are okay, but I want to HEAR them say it and will make my own determination. How’s that for an old fuddy-duddy? ;-)

On another note, though you might enjoy something I just received – a beautiful photographic video of West Texas and beautiful music as a huge plus. I would embed it if I could:

Only men an be sexist, just as only whites can be racist.

About 10 years ago, researcher Christina Hoff Summers detailed what she called “The War Against Boys” in a book of the same name.

Highly recommended! And yes, things have only become worse since she wrote the book: as we “normalize” homosexuals as adoptive parents – one of the most bizarre and unopposed psychological experiments ever done by a society – we will reap what we sow.

become something that is unspeakable. It is up to the conservatives left in this world to try and turn it around. What we are is something that leads to nothing but the downfall of our society and the world in general. God help us all!

You can read some of my other comments on this diary to get the gist of my feelings on all of this. Just know that you are so right on. And thanks for the book title!

they also harass other women. Without a doubt, the worst bosses I’ve ever had were women. So much so that I left both jobs because they weren’t worth the hassle of dealing with the egos. Given the choice between an egotistical, power-hungry woman and a good, old-fashioned chauvinist man, I’ll take the latter any day of the week. However, I’ve been fortunate to have had 4 wonderful gentlemen as my primary bosses over the span of my 27 years in the legal profession.

As I asked in a previous comment here (that mirrors much of what you say), why aren’t men given training sessions on how to deal with women who dress inappropriately? Because it’s a one way street brought on by feminists who continue to demonize men.

years and still work once in a while with one of my former bosses at the firm – a man, along with his family, who remain my friends. As a paralegal, on occasion I would have to work with one of the female attorneys, and, believe me, it was almost more than I could bear. With the exception of one (count ‘em – ONE) female, the rest were obnoxious, overbearing, hateful, femi-nazi divas who thought they were smarter than anyone in the entire firm – and we’re talking a LARGE firm. I never had the misfortune to have to work directly under their supervision, only with them, but that was enough for me. I am so blessed to have had the privilege to have worked with such gracious and nice people (not to mention brilliant), with the exception of some of those I described above.

On the day of my retirement (way too early, not a brilliant idea on my part – I wish I were still there!) my big, big boss emailed the sweetest note that he and I were from a different era, that he knew I wouldn’t take it as offensive, but could he please have a good-bye hug me from before the day was over. I immediately replied that I would never have dreamed of being offended, that it was a special gesture from him that I welcomed, and elaborated on how sorry I felt for all of the guys to even be put in such a situation. Later that day, he was in one of the hallways and in front of everyone I hugged him. Never would I have hugged him without others around – I would never have put him in such a position. He was and is a sweet, sweet person and a very good family man.

A million amens to your comments, Melody. Some of those gals out there dress like tramps and then wimper and whine if someone makes a suggestive comment. OR I’ve seen some literally make a move with their demeanor and comments, and then be offended if the man took the bait in even a minor way. HOGWASH! If a woman behaves and dresses like a lady, 99.99999% of the time she will be treated as such. Period.

My daughter and granddaughters were brought up to be ladies, and all of them are. My son was brought up to be a man, and he is a wonderful man with a good heart – but a man he is, all the way. Thank God! I do not know where or how this can be overturned, but it is surely a major contributor to the downfall of our entire culture. There’s no other way to describe it. Men were intended to be the hunters and gatherers, and women were to be the nest builders and nurturers – ordained by God Himself.

However, rather than get upset, I have always taken the attitude of screw ‘em.
