I have two brainstorming ideas, in which case, will grow Conservatism in the medium term. Both of which have little to do w/ one another:

 First, create a freeware and open source tax addendum (to the most popular software programs (Gietner uses one for example)) where people can download the program it would tell the person PRECISELY where their money goes.

 For example,
 
 Joe Blow made 40,000 this year.
 Joe Blow pays Federal taxes of 8,000 this year and it went towards THIS:
 Mosquito sex (x)
 You, Joe Blow, paid social security percentage (x)
 California bailout (x)
 entitlement programs (x^6)

 Joe Blow paid local taxes of 2,000 this year. and it went towards THIS:
 Roads (-x)
 Bureaucracy (x^2)
 
 The programmers don’t even have to be fantastic. RedState, for example, could recruit upon college campuses the Comp Sci folks in return for resume material.

 Second, College campus saturation. The education in this country, I think we’d all agree, is overrun with the left. However, most college classes are open. Let’s found a day where we all freely ’sit in’ on their classes en masse until either a.) they change their lefty policy and direction or b.) their hand is forced and they out right make an admission that their school is dictated by a singular ideology (which will cost them financially)-colleges are businesses today.

  Just a couple of quick ideas-feedback welcome. Tell me I’m full of crap, if need be. I’m a Conservative, although I hurt, my feelings won’t be.

I just wanted to write a quick blurb about “The General Will of the People”:

As Americans sail upon dark choppy financial waters and galvanize inside the crucible of struggle towards socialism, they are allowing the subtle framing of their voices amongst world opinion.

Youtube as a marketing tool & the Recovery.gov feedback are fallacies in solutions to the American journey forward.

The most disturbing part of this approach to “leadership” is that it is acclaimed and declared as important insight into ‘the General Will of the People” by the Obama administration-by consensus.

It’s essentially a world wide pop culture poll. Youtube videos are ranked by world wide opinion. Americans, obviously outnumbered in such large picture thinking extrapolations and subversive manipulations, are suddenly defined by such opinions and ultimately diminished in their conclusions-of which American administration decisions are based upon.

Will Recovery.gov allow only American citizen input? Or will it also allow Putin’s,  Ahmadinejad’s and American death row inmate’s input as well? The very fact that it’s an announcement on Youtube lends logically that we all know the answer.

When this administration, in the near future, references the input it gets from recovery.gov as reasons why it dictates policy, will it be the American people’s voice or these guys?:

   I simply wanted to take this time out to salute our soliders moving forward into 2009. As I was travelling through Atlanta airport again a few days ago and watched Humanity pass by, I watched the best of us come and go.

 I had a five hour layover and made a point to shake as many soldier hands as possible; chat where plausible; and always thank them. Our Men and Women come across many backgrounds and ages; and relative creeds and colors. But when it matters…when it matters…they, and I…and most here, see eye to eye. God Bless the Troops.
