Bloggers and TX Newspaper claim Perry drunk at Cornerstone speech

The liberal bloggosphere and newspapers are really busy lately. Rick Perry made a nearly 30 minute speech up in New Hampshire at a place called Cornerstone on October 29th. I watched it. I thought his appearance on Fox News Sunday was good. Rick Perry was even better!

If this is Perry getting his groove on, I can see Perry coming back in the polls by the time the primaries hit. Also make note Perry references to Herman Cain in the speech in a nice but comparative way.

Perry also released a 30 second ad that is really REALLY good. Perry finally is getting his message strait and it’s a good one. Very positive and still comparing himself to everyone else. Has Perry finally figured out how to be successful in this Presidential campaign. I think so and look forward to more of it.

Check out even more of what Rick Perry is doing at The Rick Perry Report.

He’s been a lifelong Democrat but is now a registered Independent and has donated to the Perry campaign. Thanks, Toby, for standing up for America.

  • explodinghead

MSM in first 2 debates: Perry is half asleep, too boring.
MSM 3rd debate” Perry is too aggressive.
MSM New Hampshire: Perry is too giddy, having too good a time…
I guess he must be on drugs or drunk!

There is no pleasing these idiots. They can’t have a good time without being on drugs or alcohol and they have zero sense of humor, so when Perry gets funny they get paranoid. You know I’d rather have someone up there who comes across in a relaxed, fun way, than Obama who chastizes Americans for clinging to their guns and bibles! The whole speech had serious moments too, but they don’t show you them, just the cuts they want to illustrate their point.
How will they ever get time to get all their attacks in on Cain and Perry today, there just aren’t enough hours in one day.

  • carolina

with the ‘giddy’ (or?) snips from his speech. Of course they did not show any of the serious parts of the speech.
Their excuse – was that this was “burning up the blogoshphere”.
    - sigh -

I found the link to the entire twenty-five minute NH Cornerstone speech at a comment at HotAir after 5 pm today, so sorry, not surprised, to hear NBC actually thought the eight minute bash-edit was newsworthy, and so that is going viral because the msm is so lazy. ( I did catch Wolf Blitzer’s segment on CNN, and noticed he used the policy bits NOT from the eight-minute bash-edit.)

now, if only Perry will explain his ‘tomcat’ reference :)

anyway, thanks for the link to rickperryreport.com

Hope he gets more townhalls scheduled in Iowa this week. That Cornerstone speech is powerful!

I saw this video on the site listed above. I want this Rick Perry out there!!! He comes in around 4:11.

Tomcats are well known animals down in that part of Texas. It’s a cousin of the Bobcat if you know what that is. Tomcats and bobcats generally steak out a certain amount of territory which can be expansive.

The reference Perry made is that the farms were decent size there enough that each farm/ranch had at least one tomcat in the area. It also meant that on average you probably didn’t see your neighbors house unless you drove a few miles down the road.

I really enjoyed the entire speech by Perry. Perry was among very good friends who as religious as he is. People tend to be more relaxed and outgoing when they are among friends like Perry was here. I linked to Rick Perry Report because he gave a short explanation and a few other videos of the same thing.

Hope you all went over to HotAir to vote.

          • windwaker24

Makes sense now! I thought a tomcat was a regular male cat with a whole bunch of girlfriends!

          • Scope

Did you check out the Rick Perry Report site linked above. I checked it out and it is a perfect place for all us Perrypals. I doubt that anyone will allow it to be taken over by all the other bots.

          • pttx333

my ex-boss (still is, I suppose, he’s retired sorta also) for many years has been in a huge crunch with lawyer/CPA stuff – so guess who drew the black bean to be the step’n fetchit? Have been up to my neck in files, research, spreadsheets – nothing new, though. He thinks he’s had a really bad day if he hasn’t worked at least 12-16 hours! We have had “strong disagreements” over these 30+ years but still are good friends. Told him tonight that it is a given that slaves revolt after a time, though. LOL

Now, to the Rick Perry Report – had not seen it, but will read it thoroughly when I can time. Hopefully, I’ll get a small breather for a couple of days and can do so. Sounds like a great place to be to me! I’m proud of our guy, regardless of what some others may think – they just know don’t a good ‘un when they see one, huh. Oh – speaking of that, did you hear what James Carville said about Romney? I have never agreed with old warthog Carville in my life, but died laughing when he said that Mittens is a “serial windsock.” Then someone else asked “what’s a windsock?” and I really doubled over! Nothing like a little humor now and then. (I used to live in a small West Texas town with a little eensy airport that we called a “one socker.”)

Glad to talk to you, Scope. I’ll be back “with it” before long – just as soon as the roadrunner gets all of his ducks in a row. HA

          • windwaker24

            Tell me about it! :)

          • Scope

I needed that windwaker. That was almost as funny as the funny parts in Perry’s speech, which I loved.

          • windwaker24

We had an orange cat who lived on the next street that used to come to our backyard and “spray” up the place and bring his lady friends. He had about 6 “girlfriends” and about a million kids! I think they finally wore him out because I don’t see him around the neighborhood anymore, but his ladies are still around! :)

          • pttx333

guys just like you described, windwaker. Thank heavens above that I didn’t know them “that” well, though. They’re something to watch – but from a faaaar distance. LOL

          • westcoastpatriette

It was so refreshing to watch him so relaxed and talking so openly about his faith. He and Cain both are unashamed of their faith and it is making me like both of them more and more as it is obvious that they are the real deal.

It’s making me realize I am more than tired of Christians being bashed, mocked and bullied into silence and I think it would be good for the nation to have a truly God honoring man in the White House.

Obama has been a CINO and has disparaged the faith by betraying it in the name of something more like a new-age amalgamation of anything goes. So Cain and Perry both would be a refreshing change in that regard.

Anyway, thanks for the link. And I did go to HotAir and vote.

          • lizzie

Thanks for the explanation of Perry’s tomcat reference. I am in Franklin County, Mass, the rural county that borders east VT & west NH.

ok, originally from the south, but came to Mass for college in 1969, and trying out ‘forced retirement’ here past few years.

I have never seen them, but we have Fishercats that streak through the woods and farms.

so, now I understand. my bigger problem past two years have been foxes training their kits to hunt moles in my yard!

Back to Perry’s NH Cornerstone speech – five of the attendees, including the NH Speaker of the House, had a presser in Manchester yesterday and really reamed the media on the bash-edit, and all of them highly praised Perry’s speech:

            http://www.unionleader.com/article/20111103/NEWS0605/110609989/-1/news06

New Hampshire may be the ultimate swing state, and set the tone for stopping Obama’s ‘mean kid’ supporters who make fun of Perry in the general.

  • bzip

I just love this video that came out in NH of Perry. It shows a very relax person who can have a lot of fun while getting many points across.

For people who criticize Perry I just don’t think people have a sense of humor anymore or did I hear that else where.

He surely isn’t drunk but he surely is enjoying himself and for all the hoopla going around about smearing Cain this has to be on the top of a smear campaign against Perry.

Its a shame a politician can’t show their more relaxed side. I could keep watching this video over and over. Its wonderful.

Thanks onemovoter for the enjoyably diary and thanks for the lizzie for the rickperryreport.com I hadn’t realize that was out there.

    Go Perry 2012

  • Spartan4Life

What else do you need to know, really?

  • carolynr

I watched the entire video. When I saw the snipits….I came across with the same opinion. Now I can say this. Do I think that Perry had a couple of drinks? Probably. Was he drunk? No. Do these types of get-togethers serve drinks? Yes. Does Obama party…as has been leaked…probably. He admits to cocaine use and weed…so he probably parties. Does Clinton and Gore have a bad case of Roscesa (sp) or do they down their drinks and plenty of them?

So, I would say he had a drink or two…but he was not drunk and he is not a drunkard…otherwise the behavior would have been entirely different. What I can say about this is this: usually when a person has a drink or two, they lose their inhibitions and say how they really feel, not what is scripted. While he was a little giddy at times …his message was always the same. To me that says, he means what he says and says what he means. Did the speech become more serious…yes. Was he more relaxed…yes. Is he consistent…yes. Are the policies right for America…yes. So…here is the video in its entirety. Rick Perry was not drunk,,,and he did not slur his words either! People who are drunk repeat themselves ad nausesm

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21z30aNO3cA

    • bzip

Well at least Fox has now said something about this video. The guy covering the story made it very clear this is Rick Perry. That It is NOT a drunk Rick Perry but the real Rick Perry unleashed and relax – and the news guy covering it said Rick Perry is like this a lot in a more comfortable setting and we will be seeing a lot more of it – I say good, I just love it. Perry was so inspiring and wonderful in this speech :-) .

      • avagreen

        Is his job in danger?
        LOL!

        • bzip

I was really surprised, it was just shown on Shepard Smith shown and it was that news guy that covers many campaigns, Carl C. I forget his name. What a surprise indeed.

          • avagreen

            Good for him.

          • bzip

Yep, that was who it was. Thanks, I always forget his name.

Such an inspiring speech by Perry should go as a state on the union address :-) .

          • avagreen

About the alcohol thing, someone on another forum said this was a Christian – sponsored event and they didn’t think any alcohol was served.

I think that Perry was on a high related to being more comfortable with running his campaign now, has a new set of campaign folk, fully recovered from his back surgery and “running” which he likes to do.

He’s getting his game back for sure.

          • conservativemusician

Saying that Perry was “on his game” with the interview he will be showing on Hannity (I think tonight or tomorrow night). I guess any good news for Perry is welcome these days.

I really do think Perry is looking more and more comfortable and articulate and it is obvious that he is great at giving speeches in front of small gatherings like NH or working the crowds and also in the one-on-one interviews. He was great on Wallace’s show this past weekend and looked and sounded very competent. I just hope it is not too late for Perry to get his favorables back up to where they need to be in time for the primaries – especially in light of the cult of personality that the Cain campaign is quickly becoming.

          • avagreen

            What’s going on?

Think maybe they see that Cain is getting deeper and deeper into horse manure with this sexual allegation thing?

Sure makes me wonder about politics and how they go.

          • conservativemusician

After Hannity made the Perry compliment, he then went on a tirade about the hatchet job that the liberal media is doing on Cain, etc., and then he had his typical liberal vs. conservative shootout on the sexual harassment issue. However, he may starting to get back to being more neutral after having been criticized on this site by so many for being in the tank for Cain.

Overall, I still like Hannity, but I think he needs to spend more time going over what the candidates believe as opposed to getting sucked into the 24 hour media distraction over this stupid Cain story.

          • retire05

was in the Newt camp for quite awhile. He seemed to have jumped that to being on the Cain Train when Newt was not doing well in the polls. I also believe that Fox has had Cain on more than any other candidate. A couple of weeks ago, it was at least three times: Hannity, Greta and one other, perhaps Cavuto. Cain seems to get a lot of air time there, while nothing is mentioned about Mittens flip-flops.

I have also heard Brit Hume spin the stories of Romney’s illegal hires, saying that as soon as Romney learned about it, he fired the lawn service. Yeah, if “as soon” means a year later.

I have basically quit watching Fox. If I want to be told who to vote for, I’ll watch MSNBC.

          • avagreen

And, he was pretty high on my list until this last few months.

          • bzip

Yes, I too have lost a lot of respect for Hannity but I have lost a lot of respect for several people lately, including Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin

          • avagreen

            **

Thought FOX was a news organiztion to respect.
            No more.

If they are this narrowminded just because someone comes from Texas (which is what I’ve largely seen), and wear cowboy boots, talk with a Texas drawl, they can have their East Coast closed-minded snobbery.

They did the same thing with the drought we’ve had in the middle states………hardly ever mentioned while the floods, rains, and mini-hurricanes were covered with 24 hr news. Same thing with the raging wild fires we’ve had in Texas for the past 300 days (related to the worst drought since the 1930′s). Not a word.

And, because of that blindness to anything not East Coast, the fact that Perry was here during the Bastrop fires (during the debates), directing the fight from the air, giving comfort, etc….while still recovering from the back surgery. NONE! of that got covered by the Eastern Establishment news……….. but the kicks and moans and sighs about his poor debating skills went unabated.

What other person in the debate had all this to contend with? And, with such a great mood? Didn’t complain, just soldiered on.
OMG! He attacked Romney after Romney put his hand on his sholder!! Faint, scream, faint! Sheesh! Stuff it.

          • conservativemusician

He’s a pretty brilliant guy and I used to really like his daily video updates as they were pretty insightful, but he is sold out on Cain now. He’s been very critical of Perry’s tax plan especially because he’s all in for the Cain 999 plan. He was also piling on Perry with everyone else after the last debate. Plus, he said that he would be doing in depth interviews with all the GOP candidates, but he hasn’t interviewed Perry once that I am aware of – although he recently just finished up his 6th interview with Cain. He’s not even attempting to hide his pro-Cain bias anymore…nor his contempt for Perry.

          • bzip

What a miracle Hannity said something nice about Perry

I couldn’t have said it better, conservativemusician.

I too saw the Chris Wallace interview and Perry did very well. He appeared very professional and very competent.

I can only hope it isn’t too late. I truly believe Perry is the only consistent conservative with proven governing experience that has the ability to lead us out of this disaster.

          • kestrel

out of the footage of Perry presenting an award to Hannity at the 8/1/09 Freedom Concert. It’s at the 1:10 minute mark of the Freedom Concert video here (scroll down to it):
            http://rickperryreport.com/article/2011-10-30/rick-perry-wasnt-drunk-cornerstone-heres-what-was-going

          • gracie

            Perry was great!.
            The music was great!
Even Hannity was great…he did not talk about himself….not for a minute. It was about the soldiers… hooking some in Iraq with three families in the crowd by video with Oliver North. Not a dry eye.

And singing “Have You Forgotten” with Lee Greenwood himself! The crowd was practically crying with patriotism!!! I gave it to my faily for Christmas.

Rick Perry was seriously fun and funny. and KBH was a dud.

Today I thought the clips they showed on Fox made him look drunk or that it was at least questionable. I have been razing Sean on Twitter about his supposed fair and balanced during his radio shows because they seem to read them then. I tried to write him at Hannity at Fox and it came back undeliverable! At their address?? Maybe his mailbox in FULL.

I love this thread. A lot of hatin been going on elsewhere. Thanks! one-mo-vo. Don’t get it why we are haters when they are down on Perry at every turn.

One more thing…Cain was seriously lame on the Fox panel. And FOR ONCE the questions were fair tonight. Scope you might have to make an exception and watch Hannity tomorrow night. Or find a video of tonight….worth it1

          • gracie

Just gotta say Cain V Gingrich is occurring this Sunday night a few blocks from Hannity concert in my old neighborhood. I am praying that someone will show someone who knows what about fiscal policy.

Not saying any names or anything.
Thanks to lineholder we are told it is on C-span. Thank heavens! The tickets were ridiculous!

          • gracie

The Sean Hannity I saw in ’09 has disappeared. I have never heard a more disgusting in the tank for Cain show as today. Or in the tank for racism.

Maybe this is a dumb question but can we get a copy of Cain on the Hot Seat on Bret Baier from yesterday, 11-1? If we could send this revelaing interview to folks who think they know Cain we would not have to give a word of explanation.

    • lucasblack

I didn’t think Perry was drunk; my guess is that he had a glass of wine or something for dinner and it didn’t mix well with a painkiller. I didn’t think it was a very good speech; there’s relaxed and then there’s…too relaxed. Kind of overcompensating , if that was what he was going for.

      • avagreen

This was sponsored by a Christian organization. And, I hardly doubt that drinks were being served at a Christian-based Annual Fundraising Dinner and Awards Gala
        http://www.nhcornerstone.org/

Don’t think they were serving wine at this function.

        • avagreen

….. I thought it was an excellent speech.
          :D

More like the Perry we see down here frequently. Sorry that so many haven’t and have no idea except what the MSM put out. (trash)

  • Scope

for the link to the Perry Report. Finally a place to go and get a little Perrypal love, without being attacked by all the bots.

    • onemovoter

The website is not done by me. Someone else does it, and previously had posted stories here and linked back to that site.

They still point out problems when they come up, but on average they post new info related only to Perry.

If you are all drained from the Cain issues this week, read my latest diary. I had it nearly finished when I clicked through to the New Ledger and their latest blog. Seems I was thinking the same as they were, so I linked it too. All good stuff to ponder.

    It appears Hot Air has a little mention of Perry’s NH speech stemming form the abc news article;

Some people can’t be bothered to watch the full 25 minutes.

      • bzip

And that is why it is so special, so enjoyable to watch. The guy is a genius (okay, now I am sounding silly) but is was really good. It sounds like Perry will be doing and being more himself, that will be really good.

        • conservativemusician

With the “American Idol” society we now live in where so much is based on personality and making a good impression, he has to make the most of these opportunities. Just having great ideas and economic/tax plans is not going to be enough to get him over the finish line. I also hope that he will do more than 5 debates as he may need as much of this type of face time as possible to get his favorables back up again.

          • Aaron Gardner

Granted, this format is different than the debates that we have all suffered through, but he did very well. I wish we had more of this format.

You can watch the replay on youtube.

          • conservativemusician

And thanks for the link. Also, his new Iowa ad is great is well. I for one prefer someone who actually lives out what he believes as opposed to someone who just talks about it.

          • bzip

This is the way I feel debates should be formatted. In this kind of format you can really get to the substances, the main issues and what each candidate stands for.

I can’t stand the current way of debating, it has become a side show and no way to try and judge a candidate for becoming the next POTUS.

Boy, I sure wish we could do something about the way debates are formatted. I am so sick and tired of the current way we are doing the debates. They don’t offer us anything except entertainment, side shows.

            Thank much for sharing, Aaron.

As a southerner, Perry may not like the comparison, but the point is that he gets things done, and gets the right things done.

When people complained to President Lincoln about General Grant’s alleged drinking (I’m not suggesting Perry was drinking here or anywhere else), Lincoln essentially replied, “Find out his brand of whiskey and send a barrel to some of our other generals.”

My favorite Perry line from this speech is, “Under my plan, the “death tax” will expire before you expire.”

Club for Growth’s analysis of Perry is good:
    http://www.clubforgrowth.org/whitepapers/?subsec=137&id=953
I especially like that Perry’s tort reform took four Texas Counties off the American Tort Reform Association

  • onemovoter

Perry was quoted by ABC News when asked about the Cain allegations.

Perry refused to comment on the allegations of sexual harassment facing opponent Herman Cain.

nuts, but he is a hoot. I once heard him say that he was somewhere (Austin City Limits, maybe?) where Perry played the drums with ZZ Top, and he just has to vote for a guy who can do that. I would be willing to bet a dollar that Perry is also a total hoot (with no drinks) when he is relaxed and in an informal setting. I have always liked the guy – and I’ll stand with him all the way, period.

Audience members are quoted as saying the speech was out of the park, standing ovation. Perry haters see drugs and alcohol. How absurd. I wish he would deliver more relaxed unconventional speeches, debate performances, etc just like this, mainly because it rankles the intellects and bloviated talking heads. He is a real person, non-establishment.

Perry, a former AirForce pilot, has had more economic successes than failures as the longest serving Republican Governor in Texas for 10 years, 2nd most populous state, 2nd largest US economy, 15th largest worldwide. To say that this guy, who is on a Godspeed candidacy towards the nomination, does not deserve to relax in front of his people, joke and feel at home is disheartening. His humor and mannerisms were just plain funny to me, no different than my own pastor in Church every Sunday while delivering the message.

Maybe thats what makes Perry haters even more incensed is that this guy actually has charisma and connects with folks on a more personal normal guy level.

    • bzip

I can only agree and after seeing his NH speech I am now even more supportive of Perry.

Go Perry 2012, Perry is the person for the job to lead this country out of the danger Obama has put us in.

      • circlegranch

For EE: is there any movement on plans to do the individual conversations with the candidates? That would be an awesome forum for Perry.

the establishment. To me, Perry’s sarcastic mocking is a huge strength as it shows he is onto the political games and he unashamedly condemns them with plans to stop it. His style is so refreshing and the accusations that he must have been drunk shows just how out of touch they are.

No wonder he is such a threat to establishment Republicans.

    Team Perry 2012~

  • runner12

comfortable in front of his audience, not drunk. The goal of speeches is not to put everyone to sleep. I thought it was a nice speech.

Another thing that I noticed is that he talks with his hands, as many do in the South. It seems to be his natural way of communicating. You can bet that he has been told to limit his hand movements in the debates, which could contribute to making him look awkward and uncomfortable. Just an observation.

    • pttx333

are just that way. I probably couldn’t say a word to anyone at any time if my hands were tied behind my back! That is what is known as “animated” and it suits him, IMHO.

  • redmymind

and found it quite entertaining and enjoyable to watch. I really appreciate the fact that Perry is not a pretentious, stuffed-shirt elitist who’s presumably “too cool” or “above it all” to let the guard down and have some fun with the folks–whilst getting his message across. Some people just have it; others don’t.

I am not a Texan and admittedly have limited insight into the Texan culture and the means of self-expression particular to it. That said, I had little difficulty connecting with the Governor and “getting” his message and the intended spirit of its delivery.

The Lone Star shines mighty bright out here in the Left Coast as well!

Heck, if we can’t have him for Governor of California, AT LEAST GIVE HIM TO US AS OUR PRESIDENT!!! . . . Go Perry!!!

    • pttx333

so many from other states “get” Rick Perry and the Texas culture. If you want to know about the traditional culture here, just watch Perry – he is a fine teacher. Of course, we have elitists, libs, etc., here, but what you see with him IS the tradition.

As for those elitist types who say he was drunk or high – PFFFT! No he wasn’t! I am from a long line of Baptists ministers, deacons, Sunday School teachers, and that is the way they behave(d) in church, at home, or at other gatherings. It is known as p-e-r-s-o-n-a-l-i-t-y – someone who is in love with life, God, and people in general. In other words, someone who is comfortable and happy in their own shoes. I think it is a wonderful trait and believe with all my heart that it is something that liberals/elitists could never begin to understand.

I’m with our guy all the way, and know that you will be also!

      • redmymind

Just love the “selective outrage” on the part of these libs and hypocrites who then go back home and live their really messed-up lives! Perry’s our guy and I’m in it for the long haul and through thick and thin! You can count me in!

Don’t forget Rick Perry will be on Sean Hannity’s show tonight Wed.

Perry 2012, that is our ticket.

  • mariagomez

I agree with you all that Perry was sober, but his silly delivery distracted from good points that he was making. Please know that his overly casual delivery, i.e. telling Cain that he would “bump tax plans with you, bro”, is not persuasive to anyone outside of the South. And I think that we need more than Southern voters in order to win in 2012.

    • Aaron Gardner

I don’t think you are fooling anyone.

    • center77

nobody outside thar forum would have seen anything he says, the news channles do nothing but slam him, he is the real threat to the establishment,Cain has always been their pawn

      • avagreen

The obvious isn’t always so obvious, is it?

        *sad*

        To be so easily played.

I wasn’t there, and agree that – on video – Perry comes off as a bit .. odd. I’m not convinced that’s the case for those inside the room.

One critique of Perry in the debates, after all, was that his performance was very related to the mood of the audience – perhaps he was just working the room.

As for “bumping tax plans”, I don’t see the problem and I’m certainly no southerner. It’s a pop culture nod, and is either clever or harmless.

What’s impressive, by the way, is that Perry hasn’t even tried to make hay out of Cain’s troubles.

each of the five candidates (Romney and Cain still MIA in Iowa this week) get ten minutes. Perry got the last spot, before the closing video homage to Ronald Reagan.

We’ll see the Perry who blends the best of his past six speeches/interviews:
Oct 28 71 minute interview with the NH Union Leader editorial board
Oct 28 25 minute NH Cornerstone keynote speech
Oct 30 interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday
Nov 2 15 minute Q&A Pella Iowa National Assoc of Mfrs and Iowa PublicTV
Nov 2 interview with Hannity on Fox
Nov 3 interview with John King on CNN

Cain should have done the same when the nutty rock thing happen, but at the time Cain was low in the polls, wait so is Perry. I’ve been saying for about 4 months Cain is not the one, because we do not know what we will get from him. He could have a bunch more things in his past like the one that just happen. So the best thing we can do is go with Perry to beat the center left liberal Romney, then take our message to the country that conservatism will fix our economy, and Perry has done it before in Texas, and he will do it for the nation. If conservatives get behind this plan, we will have a new revolution that mirrors the Reagan revolution. That is whats at stake here.

Thanks for the shout out to The Rick Perry Report on RedState.com. You guys are awesome. I finally got my posting privileges here, so I can say thanks.

I am in San Angelo, TX and build big Web sites for a living. I found myself really drawn to the idea of Rick Perry being president, so I figured I’d put my talents to work for him. I am independent and have no affiliation with the campaign or any of the 527s.

I appreciate the link and I look forward to linking to some great RedState content. Just keep the insane Cainites away from me. They creep me out almost as much as the RomneyBots.

Go Rick Perry 2012! Give ‘em hell, my Aggie brother!

Good to have you, but just a warning. When you come to RedState, you’ll have to fight off the insane Cainites that show up here from time to time on your own!

  • avagreen

Somehow I don’t think you’ll have any problems defending yourself.
    :D

Facts top smears any day. ;)

You’re among friends here. Thanks for the hard work you’re doing to help us promote the message of the next President of the United States!

Standing with the man that promises to make Washington, D.C. as inconsequential in our lives as possible. Rick Perry President 2012

  • 1bunny

I found your site weeks ago and check it everyday. I was so happy to find your site with such wonderful info telling the truth of Rick Perry as a person and as a candidate. I like that you debunk some of the spin.

  • pttx333

many long-time friends there – graduated high school west of Angelo years and years ago and still miss the folks out there.

Thanks for The Rick Perry Report! I will be a steady visitor there as I’m also a huge Perry fan – have voted for him every time he has run for office, and I’m not stopping now. Yee Haw!

  • center77

i thought it was really cool, and you nailed what bloggers do the other day when you scolded them for the Perry pile on. good stuff,

  • tyman

    Joe,

I’m listening to Perry talk at the Manufacturing Forum.

I read that Perry was the only one of the candidates who supported any tax on corporate profits to be brought back from overseas. I’m curious to see if he states why. I think he said bring them back at 5 percent or so for a year so that the money can be put to use.

So far he’s doing great! That’s why I support him for president.
I could really see him being the President!
