ABC News: President Bush, Sarah Palin Weigh on McCain

Are these people out of their minds? If anyone here believes that John McCain would be withing striking distance today with Mitt Romney (yawn) or Mike Huckabee (double yawn) on the ticket, we need to talk. I have a lovely piece of ocean view property near Phoenix that I’d like to sell you.

    First of all I agree with your assessment that Sarah Palin has kept McCain competitive in this race. I don’t particularly mind Romney or Huckabee, but I doubt they would be able to drive in the huge crowds Palin does at rallies.
    The second thing is that the MSM and the Democrats are so afraid of her it’s not funny. They have put two morons on their ticket for president/VP. They’ve deciced to dumpster dive in Wasilla instead of propoerly vetting Barack Obama. They have done everything in their power to make her seem like an airhead, and they know the power she posseses.
    Should McCain lose next Tuesday, she’ll be a force to be reckoned with should she decide to run for President. I have no doubt that Obama will turn into another Jimmy Carter, a one-term loser who wrecks the economy and demolishes our national security and military.
    Sometimes, you need to take one on the chin to wake up the sleeping giant. I don’t want Obama to win, but this may be what we need to get conservatism back to the front.

    I disagree. I believe Palin is a drag on the ticket in that she is draggin McCain’s butt over the finish line. And to McCain’s credit he knew he needed her to excite the base because he couldn’t. And he knew he needed an excited base to win.

    So let’s help Palin to drag McCain over the finish line.

    **The Dems are doing everything in their power to attack Sarah. Phony polls. Democrats posing as Republicans who don’t like Sarah. Lies and inuendo about the “rogue” Sarah.

    And Obama is the “expert” on picking people to surround him? Like Joe Biden? If he had his way, Obama would have Biden tied to a chair right now, with duct tape over his mouth.

    Besides, Obama has “surrounded” himself with Wright, Pfleger, Farrakhan, Ayers, and Rezko. The Democrats have no room to talk about who can pick people.
