Drawing the Lines of Battle: Obama seeks required community service for kids.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | November 7th at 02:46 PM |
I wrote a few days ago about being our obligation as citizens (and Christians) to participate in our democracy. Agree and work toward compromise when possible, but fight tooth and toe nail on areas which are just plain wrong – morally or other wise. Going over the President-Elect’s website there was an interesting section on public service which should be brought to light. The Obama | Read More »
Do average people understand Joe Wurzelbacher?
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | October 16th at 10:02 AM |
Being a small business owner this subject is close to my heart and I wonder aloud if people truly understand what it means what happens. Lets face it, most people just go to work, do their job and then come home. Sure, they get taxed on their pay stub and some might even look at whats being taken from the pay stub, but do people | Read More »
Secret Service: “kill him” crowd jeer allegation unfounded.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | October 16th at 09:16 AM |
I am all sure we read the stories in the media about someone yelling in a recent McCain – Palin rally about some knott head in the crowd yelling “kill him” as Sarah Palin was speaking about Senator Obama’s ties to bill Ayres. The Timesleader (local newspaper in Northeastern Pennsylvania) is now reporting that the Secret Service is calling that allegation “unfounded.” Agent Bill Slavoski | Read More »
Obama’s “health care is a right” and “regulation of banks” remarks note marxist foundation.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | October 8th at 12:55 PM |
For anyone who didnt catch the debate last night, Senators Barack Obama and John McCain were asked whether they believed health care was a right or a responsibility. Barack Obama responded that it (health care) was a right. I am not sure why this statement did not set off any alarms among the various talking heads off last night. To be sure, it is a | Read More »
Economic crisis proves who is truly fit to lead.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | September 26th at 09:58 AM |
My personal thoughts this morning revolve around Senator Obama’s failed ability to lead given the situation he is in. For all the talk about bringing people together and striking a bipartisan tone, Barack Obama failed miserably yesterday. The Paulson package failed miserably not because of any “stunt” pulled by John McCain or the House Republican conference, but because Democrats failed to listen.
So what economic philosophy is it, Senator Obama?
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | September 15th at 04:53 PM |
In the wake of Lehman’s bankruptcy and the sell off at Wallstreet today Senator Barack Obama tried to link the situation to John McCain. Obama said that he did not directly fault Senator McCain for the economic problems facing the nation, but he did blame McCain’s economic philosophy. Such a statement not only begs the question what the junior senator from Illinois meant, but it | Read More »
Washington Post vote database: Barack Obama voted with party 96%.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | August 28th at 11:02 AM |
I firmly agree with Jim Geraghty that Republicans must hammer Senator Barack Obama’s voting record while in Congress and note that he is anything but a uniter. In fact, according to the Washington Post vote database, Senator Obama voted with his party 96% of the time he was present. Compare that to John McCain’s record of voting with his party 88% of the time. The | Read More »
ABC News producer arrested taking pictures of Democrat donors, senators.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | August 27th at 04:56 PM |
Ah yes, freedom of the press. Grand isnt it? Unless you happen to be a reporter taking pictures of “big” Democrat donors and senators meeting at a hotel in Denver during their convention. ABC News producer Asa Eslocker was arrested today outside the Brown Palace Hotel while doing investigative reporting on corperate lobbyist and political conventions.
Pelosi to protestors: “Can we drill your brains?”
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | August 26th at 03:04 PM |
Remember back in 2006 when Democrats promised bipartisanship and a “return” to an ethical Congress. You know, the same promise in which she promised dissent and openness in Washington. Exactly. Didnt happen did it? In fact under Pelosi’s watch Republicans are extremely limited in what they can do, or even say. One need to only look as far as a recent revolt in the House | Read More »
Blog may confirm political trap at Saddleback this weekend.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | August 13th at 06:33 PM |
Since seeing the commercials on Fox News announcing a political forum at Saddleback church this Saturday, I always suspected some thing was up. Then I ran across this blog which digs a little deeper and discusses who will be “helping” Rick Warren with questions to Obama and McCain.
Will Obama flip-flop on national defense in the face of Russian aggression?
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | August 8th at 03:41 PM |
For those who havent seen or remember this little take from Obama early in the campaign, now is a really good time to remember Obama’s call for disarmament.
Time’s Amy Sullivan proves that you still cant laugh at Obama.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | August 8th at 11:36 AM |
By now I am sure most of us who read the news and pay attention to the election note that there is no tolerance for making light hearted jokes or jabs at Senator Barack Obama. Time’s Amy Sulivan proves this beyond a shadow of a doubt by claiming McCain’s “the one” advertisement was really meant to portray the Junior Senator from Illinois as the antichrist. | Read More »
McCain campaign releases “Praise the One” commercial
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | August 1st at 01:36 PM |
Its about time the gloves came off. Believe the video is over the top? Watch the video again and listen to Obama in his own words, then consider what people said here locally during his visit. One woman actually called him a messiah (didnt see THE in front of her description as reported by the News-Leader). There are many truths regarding how the Obama campaign | Read More »
Springfield, Missouri News Media fails at Barack Obama visit.
By: Paul Seale (Diary) | July 31st at 10:12 AM |
Wow. Talk about in the tank. After reviewing various area news media interviews and news reports about Senator Barack Obama’s visit to Springfield, Missouri yesterday I am beyond stunned. The contrast between how the local media covered the two candidates for President of the United States could not be more stark. The best interview of the day goes to the News-Leader’s Chad Livengood, at least | Read More »
