On Sarah Palin

Like many people I am sure, I was struck side ways by Sarah Palin’s announcement that she would be resigning from the governor’s office effective July 26, 2009. Going through the various posts, thoughts and speculations I would say Charles Krauthammer comes the closest to how I feel things panned out. There isn’t some lurking in the shadows scandal as Democrats and some Republicans want | Read More »

Goldberg pwns Washington Post in 30 seconds.

I am sure some media talking heads today want to discuss the Washington Post story which implies wrong doing on the part of Sarah Palin alledgedly charging the state of Alaska with per diem charges for staying at home. After 30 seconds of google searching, Goldberg found the Alaska Administrative Manual. Big deal, right? In reality it is.

Larry Kudlow: There’s Something Missing in St. Paul

Larry Kudlow nails it, again. As much as I love Palin’s speech Kudlow correctly points out that it failed to connect our current economic slump to rising energy costs which are as a direct result of failed Democrat policy. In fact, Democrats want higher energy prices and seek to tax our companies through cap and trade which would crush our economy.

About that Sarah Palin investigation thing…

I am sure some of us heard from various media outlets yesterday that Sarah Palin was under investigation by the Alaska state legislature, but few explained the why. Just a quote note that Palin is a relative unknown, inexperienced and under investigation. Real fair and in-depth reporting, eh?

Kudlow interview makes convincing case for Sarah Palin as Vice Presidential candidate.

I must admit that my head is in a tail spin regarding who McCain should select as vice presidential candidate. Really. I think Romney would be an inherently bad choice given what both what he said about Mike Huckabee during the campaign (and that counts here in fly over country) and McCain. In fact I am fairly confident that most people I talk to in | Read More »
