But John McCain appears to be having a lot of fun with the campaign, all of the sudden. McCain, of course, has traditionally been comfortable in the role of the underdog and now that he has been cast in that role anew, he is making the most of it. The comment about the lightsabers was a funny touch and was designed to get under the skin of the Obama campaign. I don’t doubt that the comment–as well as other efforts on the part of the McCain campaign–are succeeding.
