If Obama selects Matthews, he will just fall in line with the rest of the no real “change” guys he’s positioning for cabinent posts and other jobs, like 2 of the former members of the BoD of FannieMae.

He also mentioned how “we” were worried about a Bradley Effect, and is obsessed with blue collar catholic lower-middle class Hillary-supporting 50-year-old Democrats living on the main line…

(I complain about this because of the whole “real America” thing…I hear conservatives either say straight up, or convey/imply (possibly inadvertently) that “real Americans” live in small towns, and go to church regularly, and and this-and-that, which bugs me. And this whole Catholic blue-collar thing is a Democratic version of the same thing. I’m from New York City originally, I think of that as “real America,” (or rather part thereof) after all that’s where my family was/is, and it’s still got the Statue of Liberty. Also H&H Bagels.)

This is the guy who got a tingle up his leg listening to Obama . . .

…listening to the usual puerilities from Matthews.

The question is what to do about it. We need to have some kind of liberal media boycott, and more importantly, create alternative media.

Just as we need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, we need to eliminate our dependence on the big media. Let the discussion focus on ways and means.

It would be too much for Chris. He could die of heart attack.

Stephanokoolaid woud also die of extreme envy of Chris if it happens.

Matthews used to write speeches for Dems. His bias has been obvious since before he got a TV gig.

This is classic consolidation of power, and doesn’t shock me in the least. Ticks me off, but doesn’t surprise me.

Than Brokaw publicly admitting he’s a Dem (Really Tom? No Kidding?!). But at least Brokaw kept his composure unlike Matthews who got all moist over Obabma.

So, Matthews and Olbermann take the roles of administration apologists that O’Reilly and Hannity filled the last two years, and Sean and Bill become the strident opposition. I see Sean and Bill making the adjustment easier than Olbermann. I don’t think that guy likes anyone.

Lame. And BTW – Learn how to swallow and talk at the same time. Or perhaps provide towels with your showers. Its Gross.

and I’m too obtuse to find it? I ask because I’m curious about posts that reference Tony Snow (FOX) taking that exact same job with the Bush administration.

Personally, I’d also pick somebody with, y’know, *actual press experience *to be my press secretary.
