MEMBER DIARY

Secede Now [Closed and annotated.]

[It is the position of the management that the question of the Constitutionality of secession was settled in the 19th century by the landmark case Lincoln v. Davis.  The decision was 5-4, with Grant writing the majority opinion; concurring opinions were issued by Sherman, Sheridan, Thomas, & Farragut.  Lee, Stuart, Jackson, & Longstreet dissented.  The topic has not since been revisited*. - ML]

who lust to come here, using methods legal and otherwise, see what can be accomplished if you stick to an ideal. Just getting here is a victory.

Drawing a white line and turning this land into ‘yours’ and ‘ours’ ,is walking away from your country. A 100 year head-start excuse, and giving up when it gets tough is a non-starter.
1)No politician Red or Blue is gonna sign on. Politicians get elected by appealing to the greatest number. How many like-minded are there to make this real? Not tire-kickers and poseurs. DOers?

    2) Libertarian-Freedom State-New Hampshire has been going on seemingly forever.
    Where are they, currently?

    3) If polling is even remotely accurate and Progressives are only 1-in-5, why would you even ‘get close’ to this proposal? The numbers over time are going against them. If anything, get Them to seceed. Show any undecided where the odds lie. Use that ‘Truth’ thing, as it oftimes works, really well.
I like it right where I am, and ain’t goin’ no-where.

    4) A Worst-Case scenario might indicate we “drive them from their hunting grounds/ancestral lands”, or similar.
We know how that worked out, now don’t we…?
And they don’t like guns or even own any.
