If the media and PBS are to be believed, Donald Trump wants to kill Big Bird in the same cruel manner Mitt Romney did in 2012. Of course, the beloved Sesame Street moved to HBO in late 2015, and are simply re-broadcast months later on PBS.

Regardless, it seems that the writers at Sesame Street haven’t been Trump fans for over a decade. In 2005, they aired this parody of The Apprentice and featured an orange-haired monster, Donald Grump, who owns more trash than anyone in town.
A telling aside, in a subtle middle finger to ‘The Donald,’ the segments featuring Donald Grump are brought to you by the letters “F” and “U.”The program has mocked Trump in two other episodes over the years.
