when Prosser takes a slight lead. A real nail biter so far…….

    • proudgop

I am comparing these counties reporting to 2010 Gov Race
      http://gab.wi.gov/sites/default/files/County_by_County_Final_November_12_16_10.pdf

it seems in counties like Green and Columbia there is slight shift to dems ( they aren’t all in)

Keep in mind none of Milwaukee is in

      • carolina

No official reporting – but the tweeter is following the local county clerk.
        Milwaukee is the big kahuna.
A tweeter reminded us all that the northern counties have paper ballots, and will report late because of this.
It is going to be a very long night.

        • proudgop

          Green County

Green County is first full county to report in Gov Race Walker lost county by about 400 votes tonight its swung to Dems by 1000

          • congressworksforus
          • proudgop

            2 more examples

Brown county went for Walker by 1200 votes in Gov Race tonight it went for Republicans by 6000

Bayfield went for Dems by 1100 in Gov tonight 1900

so we are seeing slight GOP decreases but I am not even sure we compare this yet ( alot these counties had zero races other then this)

          • lineholder

that Prosser needs to make good showing in Brown, Racine, Milwaukee, Outagamie, Waukesha, and Ozaukee counties to have a good chance of winning this.

          • proudgop

1/2 in Dems are getting 21,000 vote lead their

1/3 Waukesha Prosser has 35,000 vote lead

Dane county is one to watch right now if more comes I will feel little easier

          • proudgop

            125/248 plus 38000 for Dems

          • lineholder

with Waukesha (totals versus precincts) If those numbers hold, Prosser is at least still in it.

          • congressworksforus

Also, Prosser is doing about 8% better than Walker in Milwaukee County.

My concern is the suburban counties (teachers unions). That and Dane County.

          • carolina

A tweeter said to watch it. It was 50-50 in that prior election and 55-45 for Prosser with 100% in.

And, Fond du Lac almost ran out of ballots – went GOP last election. 0% in so far tonight.
Yep – it will be a long night…..

          • proudgop

I am sure last 180 precints are in heavily African American areas but that said if Prosser wins it because Dem turnout wasnt as strong here

          • congressworksforus

Maybe black folks are less inclined to support a bunch of lily-white union workers’ so-called “civil rights” than people realize…

  • carolina

I sure hope all of the northern counties with paper ballots LOVE Prosser.

  • congressworksforus

Too many freedom loving Americans went back to sleep after the election. They need a wake-up call.

    • proudgop

UPDATE: 10:35 p.m. — With 71 percent in, it’s still 50-50 though Kloppenburg has extended her vote lead, 552,053 to 546,662.

  • KC

Prosser getting crushed in Dane County (Madison). Down 71K votes with 190 of 248 reporting.

Waukesha Co. looks like his only hope. Up by 41K with 52/198 reporting.

    Sigh……….

    • proudgop

Milwaukee just poured in so Knollenberg is up to 51% up by 20000 votes and a lot counties not reporting where split and they will lean Dem

      • congressworksforus

        Back to only 4k up.

Utter, utter disaster for the Dem in Milwaukee County

210k to 129k for the Dem in 2010.

        120k to 93k today with 473/486 reporting.

  • congressworksforus

Both Dane County (heavy D) and Waukesha (heavy R) have stalled in their reporting… can’t imagine that people in those counties might be waiting around to see how many votes they can mysteriously find.

    Couldn’t happen in America…

    • proudgop

Dane has stalled for long time and only 13 precints left in Milwaukee

this is gonna come down too did we get enough votes to compensate for 4000 we are down now

  • congressworksforus
    • proudgop

      Prosser increased lead

only 5 precints left in Dane now
      13 in Milwaukee

      • proudgop

        forgot to add

  • donnybrooke

Seems to have put Prosser out in front.

    • proudgop

notice every precints in Dane the Dems garner like 4000 votes

      Prosser up 2000 now

  • congressworksforus

117 of remaining 195 precincts to declare are in counties where Prosser leads…

    • donnybrooke

The Democrats will probably take it to court! LOL!

      • proudgop

they are getting a lot voted every time 1 precint comes in

        all Wausha is in

Prosser up With 97 percent in, Prosser holds a 1,915 vote lead.

        • congressworksforus

The precincts in Waukesha went to 100%, but the vote totals didn’t change.

So, did they close out the precincts before adding the vote tallies, or the other way around. And how many other counties are actually finished but the precincts are shown as outstanding?

          • donnybrooke

They’re probably searching for those missing ballots in the back of elector’s cars. ^_^

            Kloppenburg now in lead.

          • proudgop

            1 precint left in Dane
            12 in Milwaukee
            21 Eau Claire
            6 Ashland
            all going for Dems

32 Marathon but only by little

could see Dems getting votes in remaining counties

          • proudgop

is reporting Dems are saying their are 8000 absentee ballots in Milwaukee to be counted but no one is answering phones to confilm that

            oh yeah! not

          • congressworksforus

Based on current total votes compared to 2010, the turnout is 67.8% of 2010.

But Waukesha’s numbers are only at 57.8%.

Admittedly, Dane (82.7% !!!) might be skewing the overall average higher, but Milwaukee is at 65% with a heavily depressed Dem vote.

La Crosse @ 71% (random county).

Makes me think there are votes missing from Waukesha’s totals…

          • 20jan2013

Prosser is going to lose for sure. The only precincts outstanding are in heavily Democrat areas. Too bad. Oh well. Wisconsin is a very liberal state, so what did we expect. It was a pretty rare thing for Republicans to hold the governor’s mansion and both houses of the legislature. The state is reflexively liberal; it hasn’t voted for a Republican for president since Ronald Reagan.

          • 20jan2013

Reagan didn’t even get a majority of Wisconsin voters in 1980, for that matter.

          • proudgop

won state I thought in 04? nt

          • 20jan2013

And given that Obama took it by 14 points in 2008, it looks like the 28-year streak of Democrat victories in Wisconsin will extend to 32. But then again, if they can boot Feingold, anything could happen in 2012.

          • 20jan2013

And its neighbor to the west, Minnesota, has gone Republican for president only ONCE since going for Ike in 1956. Those upper midwesterners are LIBERAL!

  • rightwingmom52

    according to http://www.businessinsider.com/wisconsin-election-results-long-night-ahead-2011-4

Prosser may win the battle tonight, but the Dems won’t waste a chance to steal this election.

  • 6eorge Jetson

I hope I’m wrong, but assuming the outstanding precincts are the same size as those that have voted in the respective counties, and will vote like the other precincts in the county cohort, yields a very rough estimation of a ~2,500 pickup for Klopp. (Prosser is up ~1,500 at the moment)

I hope to learn I’m wrong tomorrow, and certainly a Prosser win is well within the uncertainty range of this oh-so-simple model

As of 2:40, still Prosser by ~600, but I’m guessing Klopp will pick up ~1,800

I say let it happen. Let them destroy their state. I will just buy more gold or other things of real value, maybe Canadian Dollars.

32 of the 34 are in counties that she carried. If these 34 are in the range of just over 400 total votes as are the precincts that have reported, she’ll only need a 52-48 edge in them to make up the 600 votes.

I’m sure some experts from King County WA flew in overnight to help as needed.

Given the amount of money that poured in from out of state and the incredibly dirty campaign that money drove, it’s amazing to me that it’s even close.
