Is It Finally Hitting New York State?

This so called wave has been non existent till this point in NY  but this morning some hope might finally be on the horizon.  A new Quinnipiac poll in New York finds Andrew Cuomo (D) leading Carl Paladino (R) by just six points among likely voters in the race for governor, 49% to 43%.  Yes, we are still behind but if the so called anointed new Governor is slipping it makes you wonder what Gillibrand is at?  It also takes away many fears that Cuomo would help sway some congress races in the state.

This is only 1 poll and more need to be shown to show this type of movement and Lazio needs to drop Conservative line ( he indicates he won’t at this time) but I can’t recall the last time any Republican has hit 43% in a poll in this state.

Is their hope finally for us Republican New Yorkers that the grip of 1 party extreme liberal policies is starting to show signs of strain to mass public?

John Kerry Yacht Story Is Priceless

So Mr “The Wealthy Don’t Pay Their Fair Share” Kerry just purchased a yacht (from New Zealand so much for I am proud to be American mantra)  for 7 million but if he docks his boat in Newport, Rhode Island instead of Massachusetts he saves 500,000 in taxes plus 70,000 excise tax a year ( RI repealed those taxes). So what does he do?  Well he does what typical liberals do?  You know all New Englanders with those Florida license plates and what not.  He used the system while still using typical liberal mantra card.

When caught?  Issue the lamest excuse and sorta insulting to your own people you represent: “it’s based in Newport at the Newport Shipyard for long term maintenance, upkeep and charter purposes, not tax reasons.”  Guess no one on the shores of Massachusetts can do those jobs?

Hope the people of commonwealth remember this next time Johnny is up.

IL: Debbie Halverson Tries To Smear Adam Kinzinger

What happens when you are a Democrat running scared?  Having voted for Obamacare, failed stimulus, and tax increase under cap and trade? You run a scorch earth campaign and try to smear your opponent who happens to an honorable Captain in Air Force.  When a newspaper brings you to task for it you know your in trouble.

Southtown Star Editorial

It seems Halverson campaign certainly has a lot questions surrounding Kinzinger service to this country question its glad to see she and her campaign have quickly been put to task for such an evil ploy.  Her silence on why she and her campaign did this is certainly not shocking.

CT US Senate Update: Simmons Ending Bid

Via Political Wire

Rob Simmons (R) will hold a press conference this morning to announce he’s leaving the U.S. Senate race in Connecticut, the Hartford Courant reports.

He lost the Republican convention’s endorsement last weekend to former World Wrestling CEO Linda McMahon (R).

“Throughout the increasingly bitter campaign between Simmons and McMahon, Simmons had said he would abide by the convention’s choice and not force a primary. However on Friday he announced a change of heart and said he would primary McMahon for the party’s nomination after all.”

I really wish Former Congressman Simmons ran to reclaim his old seat; he would give Congressman Courtney a race and put another Democrat in jeopardy.  I hope McMahon is up to this race and is ready for prime time.

Primary Day ( Mollohan Losing in West Virginia)

Its primary day in Nebraska, West Virginia and Open House Seat Special in Georgia to replace Deal.  In Georgia there will be a runoff between Former state Rep. Tom Graves (R); he had 34 percent percent when the Associated Press called the race as headed to a runoff, with 80 percent reporting. Graves will likely be joined in that contest by former state Sen. Lee Hawkins (R), who was hovering around 20 percent.

Huge news in West Virginia though where currently Mollohan who is ethically challenged and was facing primary from state Sen. Mike Oliverio who ran to right of Mollohan in primary.  Republicans also are looking to make race competitive
