Dear Cain Letter

Dear Herman,

When first we met I did not know who you were, then I was reminded we met when you took on HillaryCare. I really respected your argue against President Clinton and your ability to work with numbers on the fly. I was very impressed by your accomplishments at Godfather’s Pizza. Then, there was your 9-9-9 plan. Simple and a fight against corruption by its simplicity. I was inspired.

Lately, things have changed. And its not because of those women’s charges against you. I don’t believe those women’s charges against you (well, at least not the last one and the voice lie detectors support you) In your debate against Gingrich you did not know the difference between defined benefit and defined contribution. I was willing to let this one go too, but then in the foreign policy debate you kept saying you would consult with experts to make your decision. I’ve heard you do this before in many debates and I’m tired of it. Haven’t you thought about these issues before? Then today, you were clueless on Libya. You looked like one of my students who memorized answers for a midterm but understood nothing.

I’m sorry Herman but its over. I have found someone else. Unlike you he has thought every issue out in depth. I may not agree with him on every issue but I know he will not embarass me in front of my parents (and the whole nation) He is not perfect, but I believe he knows where he will lead this country and importantly HOW TO RUN this nation.

I wish you well. You are very talented. I hope that you lead the next great company or achieve great things. I know this may seem like a disappointment but I believe God has a plan for you and I’m sure it is great–It’s just not to be president.

Regrets,
A Conservative Voter

P.S. If you do get the nomination, I will vote for you and pray that you surround yourself with great people and minds.

    Enough said. :P

Romney never has been elected as a conservative. He has never had to defend his newly found conservative views. I’m not sure he can defend conservative views–he refused to run for re-election.

Both of those are worse than any gaffe Cain or Perry has made.

I say that even though I like Newt, I even got to vote for him in his last House election. He’s just made too many bad decisions for me to be able to trust him in the Oval Office. I’d rather have him feeding good ideas to someone else that can tell him “Newt, most of your ideas are good, but not this one” when necessary.

    Issue 1)

I remember Newt’s justification for Dede–that he always supports Republicans as a leader. I think this is part of the problem in Washington but the real problem was that the leaders in NY selected Dede in the first place. This is why conservatives need to get out there and be involved in the party.

    Issue 2)

Hate that commerical. Hate that he supported strong action against global warming. I bet though he policies would not have been the anti-capilalists programs supported by the left. One can support R&D to create new technologies that might develop cheaper and “cleaner” energy. These programs can be done with spending in the tens or hundreds of thousands not the billions spent to subsize the production of phony green technologies.

Government funding of research is tolerable, but what Obama did was provide government funding for PRODUCTION. If a technology is viable, it does not need subsidies. Let the market build those plants if needed. R&D has the advantage that if it works it might even be sold at a profit—but either way at least the dollar amounts are almost trivial in comparison to current Energy Department policies.

Not even close. Watch the 1/2 hour interview with the Milwaukee Sentinel Journal from 11/14.

Cain supports collective bargaining for Federal employees as long as it doesn’t cause an “undue” burden on taxpayers!!!

I no longer know where to place Cain relative to Romney. How could you say one represents conservatives worse than the other?

The way I see it, there are only 2 viable choices (Newt & Perry). If Perry doesn’t catch fire in the next 2.5 months, it will not matter what I think or do.
