Gingrich and Santorum Agree: Whoever Wins Fewer Delegates in Next 5 Weeks Will Drop Out

(NOT REALLY. But..well they should agree. This would create excitement for both men. Those who want Gingrich out would not have to vote for Romney. They could simply vote for Santorum. (and vice-versa)

The states included in this drop-out bet will be:

Nevada
Maine
Colorado
Minnesota
Missouri
Arizona
Michigan
Washington

At the end, whomever has the fewest delegates from these states would drop out.

This would be right before Super Tuesday.

Whoever has LEAST number of delegates at that time agrees to drop out. This makes sense for the two more conservative candidates to compete for a limited time. Then the loser endorses the winner in a united opposition to Romney.

Arizona and Michigan would close out the series with primaries. Only Nevada before those are binding. This means delegates could switch their votes to whichever candidate was remaining.

and quill, i like your idea. : ). now lets take it one step further. how about newt/santorum or santorum/newt? that ticket will get more than enough deletates to knock off romney.

Gamecock is persuaded by Santorum that we can’t give away ObamaCare issue. More later

        Mike,

Thanks for breaking that news here. Actually, I am willing to go further. I propose a fund of pledged donations where everyone donates a winner’s pot.

The winner of this contest gets the other to drop out and gets the winner’s pot.

      Want to destroy Tea Party.

With this short process we can pick one conservative to take on the” talk-like-a-conservative but have nothing to prove it candidate-Romney”.

The media is already talking about a Romney victory shows the era of the Tea Party is over. Sadly, this is true. The Tea Party stands for one simple principle: Our founders were right and consolidating power in Washington is dangerous and that we should distribute power among all levels of government. That is, they believe in limited government.
