Conservative political junkies have lots of doom and gloom concerning the Republican primary race. They have a lot of concern that President Obama and the Democrats will pull out a win because of a lack of a perfect Republican candidate.
That’s not reality. The reality is that the government figures are phony. Unemployment is higher than the government reports. Inflation is higher than the government says. People who have jobs are getting their hours cut. There are fewer jobs than the government reports. People have less purchasing power than the government says. People see that the US is not respected around the world. People see things are getting worse and not better for themselves, their family, their friends, their state, their city and/or their neighborhood. These people are not being fooled by Obama’s propaganda because they are living in their real world.
Outside the political junkie world people only want to get rid of Obama. They are not being duped by those trying to tell them never mind how bad things are, the Republicans are no good for you. They believe what they see and live and not what Obama and others say. They’re waiting for Election Day so they can vote Obama out of office.

GOP Politix (Diary) Wednesday, February 29th at 1:40PM EDT (link)It is quite possible that you are correct. There are many voters who voted for Obama to prove they weren’t racist, or just because the disliked McCain. Now, after four years of Obama they are sick of him. It’s even possible that they lost their jobs due to him.
In the end the team with the best unity will probably win.

Agree about government figures being a lie.
Viet71 (Diary) Wednesday, February 29th at 2:32PM EDT (link)Obama appears to be riding a growing GDP (up 3% in 4thQ 2011). That and he knows the job. Americans need a compelling reason to change horses in mid-stream. Romney’s not compelling (I’d vote for him). I guess the smart money is on Obama. Meaning Repubs better make the most of this election cycle and begin planning for 2016. Making the most, in my estimation, means running Newt, but ain’t gonna happen.
Remember - the late "undecideds" will go for the new guy
