New York Senate Bombshell: Gillibrand up…1 point says SurveyUSA

Uhoh.

If this ain’t a mayday for the Democrats I can’t imagine what is.  If this verifies, the Senate could be as good as gone for the Democrats as well.  This same poll shows Cuomo up 49-40 against Paladino.  The Big Red Wave is starting to sweep over the Empire State.  Sure, this might seem like a short diary, if it be even a classified as a diary but this is certainly worth a red strobe light.

Amazing only 6 weeks out.  Democrats forced to spend money in New York?  That is the ultimate worse case scenario.  In this very recent post, I alluded to this election cycle possibly becoming uncontrollable for Democrats to limit their losses by firewalling certain states and races because New York is starting to swing toward the GOP and Paladino being a fantastic candidate probably has something to do with that.

That is awesome news, DioGuardi is totally going to win that race, and there’s even better Governor news, in addition to the poll you mentioned showing Cuomo only up 9, theres another poll out by Quinnipiac showing him only up 6, theres a story about it on Drudge! It looks like the GOP has the huge momentum now, DioGuardi, Palladino, and the nice thing once again, is these are good Conservative candidates, we didn’t take the ‘Its the Northeaast, we can’t nominate Conservatives’ route, we took the ‘This is our year, we can elect Conservatives everywhere!’ route and its about to payoff huge in New York! Keep up the great work everybody, we’re gonna have an awesome November!

Now if only we were getting rid of Chuckie Schumer too. Can’t have everything, of course, but its sickening to think of him getting another 6 years.

If this is real, and better yet a trend, definitely ups the odds of 51 R’s in the Senate!

anywhere WE can make the National Organizations spend even more money is a winner. EVERY State was available to win this year because AMERICANS are disgusted with the Federal Government in EVERY State!

The 4,000,000-pound gorilla in the room is really starting to make it hard for the Democrats to maneuver about this election year. To what do I refer? The blazing white-hot example of what happens when radical nut-job Marxists have total control of the Federal Government.

I think even your dyed-in-wool Union member has scales falling from their eyes: “You mean, Cap-and-Trade means they really WANT to shut down coal mining? You mean, Nationalized Health Care REALLY means they’re taking cancer-curing drugs off the market ’cause of cost?”

It’ll be a hard, ass-bruising fall when they all land, but this is gonna be a doozy. And What”s-er-face in New York is gonna be one of the electoral victims.

After the primary I wrote a couple of comments lamenting the fact that Paladinoe won the primary. As a rule I am against giving the GOP nomination to formar democrat-miilionaires who are in it for ego. I also related that some of my GOP friends told me they voted for Paladino because he would spend the money and drive Cuomo crazy and make the race competitive. I didn’t beleive it.

Well they were right and I was wrong. Paladino is making the race competitive and his strategy of provoking Cuomo into revealing who he really is, an arrogant thug is working.

This is the second poll that shows Cuomo at less than 50%. Whether Paladino is at 40% or 43% doesn’t matter. We now have 2 polls that show the voters are not sold on Cuomo. He can be beat.

I cannot wait for the debats. Paladino is not a polished speaker. He is crude (unpolished) but the people seem to like it or at least don’t hold it against hi. The expectations will be high for Cuomo. he will try to control his temper and as a result appear to be stiff and wooden. You need only review the tapes of the Cuomo-Pirro debate in the AG race to see how bad Cuomo is in debates.

The poll also shows DioGuardi tied with Gillibrand. Even Schumer is only at 54% against Townsend, a person with no money or name ID. Naturally, the lamestream and liberal media is not taling about this at all.

The red wave is coming to NY. the angry voteres are voting on the GOP line this year. Maybe the NY GOP will get revived by a former democrat. Here’s hoping!

I have friends in “The North Country” of NY (NY23) and I’m sad to say that Doug Hoffman could not get out the vote for himself and Conservatives against Doheney (who supported Scozzafava last time around). I still haven’t heard what the Conservative Party will do in this campaign.

    • eburke

I’m hoping that he drops out (and have written him to say so)

Doheny isn’t, obviously, my first choice for this race because he’s a social moderate/liberal, but he’s a damn sight better than Owens.

Doug…this time there was a primary; this time the GOP candidate isn’t to the Left of the Dem candidate. Do the right thing….cede your line on the Conservative Party ballot and endorse Doheny.
