OK, that may be a bit of an exaggeration.  It might happen on Christmas Eve.

Can you believe that some on the conservative fringe imagine that someone on the Obama team may have done something embarrassing to the campaign?  It’s clear no one did anything wrong, and the president-elect will be glad to trumpet that to the world during the one week on the calendar when no one at all is paying any attention to what happens in Washington.

On the other hand, this is also the week that the House of Representatives is likely to conclude the ethics probe into Charlie Rangel’s financial records.  So perhaps some intrepid Washington correspondents can cover both stories together.
