		<description>and the lack of sufficient capital to maintain the multiplier effect of lending in our economy, it seems obvious to me that we should be debating how to ameliorate the most basic cause of our troubles.

Of course, the Dems intention is not to solve the most basic problem, but rather as so frankly stated by Rahm Emanuel "not to let this crisis go to waste" as a means to their desired end of increased socialistic government power.
