An assessment obtained by the Associated Press said officers found that Abdulhakim Muhammed, who is accused of shooting two Army recruits — one fatally — outside a Little Rock recruiting center, had maps to Jewish organizations, a child care center, a Baptist church, a post office and military recruiting centers in New York, Philadelphia and the southeastern U.S.
Muhammed pleaded not guilty to the shooting in a recruitng center parking lot, killing Pvt. William Long, and wounding Pvt. Quinton I. Ezeagwula. The charges he faces are in state court, but an FBI spokesman said Wednesday that the bureau’s investigation “may result in additional federal charges and prosecution.”
The White House, which was quick to condemn the killing of late-term abortion doctor George Tiller, has so far been silent on the shootings in Little Rock. How can a commander in chief have such callous disregard for two of his troops and their families?
