I’ve been to Kyiv, and it’s a majestic, beautiful, historic city - as this walking tour shows.

One eye-sore, though, is the bizarre presence of one last statue of Lenin on a side street in Kyiv. Why that one remains is a mystery to me - it seems to only serve as a spot for the few remaining die-hard communists to hold occasional rallies.

Well, this morning brings joyous news from last night. The statue was vandalized - and will be torn down.
