Rush Calls It

Less than an hour after Barack Obama was handed a stunning defeat by the IOC in the first round, broadcast to thousands of gobsmacked supporters in the Windy City, Rush Limbaugh predicted that the story was going to rapidly shift from the Obama administration’s abject failure to coverage of his meeting with General McChrystal.

I doubted that. I couldn’t believe they’d be so brazen as to try to spin that defeat into something positive so quickly. I didn’t see how the media could be so completely beholden as to try and use the hastily-arranged Friday meeting on Air Force One as a smokescreen to distract from the abject failure of Obi’s efforts in Copenhagen.

But Rush was precient and absolutely correct — not only are they using the McChrystal meeting on the front page of the Washington Post and the New York Times (websites), the WaPo has brought in a Yale Law School professor to — hold on to your hats — chastise McChrystal for “crossing a line.”

Folks, we’re looking at a media establishment that is almost totally corrupt and beholden to the President and his aides.
