Andrew Sullivan thinks thinks that we are scared of Ron Paul supporters because of our new Ron Paul policy (interestingly, he doesn't seem to notice, although he quotes the relevant portion, that only *new* users are forbidden from discussing Ron Paul, and that even new users may discuss Ron Paul if they prove their worth as commenters. Alas, reading comprehension/intellectual honesty has never been a strong suit of Andrew's).
Well, I went over there to comment on his piece to explain why this isn't true, and I couldn't find any link wherein I might leave a comment on his piece. I figured he must have shut down comments on that post for some reason. So I thought I'd leave a comment on another piece, and I noticed that there were no comments allowed on his other pieces, too! Undeterred, I sought to leave a diary or a blog explaining our policy to Andrew, but apparently he does not allow those, either!
I guess that the message here is that Andrew Sullivan is frightened of everyone, no matter which candidate they support, and that he likes our policy so much that he's decided to take it a couple steps further by silencing everyone not named Andrew Sullivan on his site.
Well, since I'm not named Andrew Sullivan, and therefore I've apparently been banned from Andrew Sullivan's site, I'll just say, "You're welcome, Andrew! We're glad we could help you take cowardice to a whole new level!"
