Easy answer there, Leon. O-Tub was thinking of green Kryptonite, which essentially poisons Superman. The problem is that there are several species of Kryptonite, including (but not limited to) red Kryptinite, which, as you note, merely makes Superman ordinary; and blue Kryptonite, which heals the effects of red Kryptonite, and can actually, under limited circumstances, make Superman stronger.

Thus, the correct response to Planet Stupid involves telling him that Jenny can help -- if she could save Kirstie, she can save O-Tub. Trying to point out that his trademark slogan is fatuous nonsense is merely an attempt to see if sound echoes well off of fat.
