Jan Schakowsky’s Safe (?) “Seat”: Watch Joel Pollak Kicking “It” Six Ways to Sunday. [UPDATED]
By: redneck_hippie (Diary) | June 15th at 12:39 AM |
Joel Pollak is running a counter-revolutionary, tea party campaign from the district that has six times elected the most liberal congressperson currently in office. Kind of a tall order, that. UPDATE: Richard Baehr of American Thinker weighs in: It is only a matter of time before the national pundits will catch up with what is obvious on the ground — that in Illinois 9, Republican | Read More »
Isn’t Anybody Going to Challenge Jan Schakowsky in (IL-9) ?
By: redneck_hippie (Diary) | April 19th at 07:07 PM |
Thought I would check, since it seems another challenger (Atanus) ran afoul of the election commission and, subsequently, a Cook County district circuit judge, due to a problem with the formatting of her nominating papers. But (whew!) there is a young man who did make it past the primary, and he is Joel Pollak. He seems to be the six-term Schakowsky’s only challenger. What caught | Read More »

These folks are paid shills, very angry and obviously homicidal. H/T hotair Funny the videographer neglected to sweep that part of the mob who were wearing swastika armbands, brown shirts and jackboots. And too, there had to be some innocent counter-protesters who were viciously attacked and kicked in the nether regions (at least). I’ll not be able to get a wink of sleep tonight, worrying | Read More »

I’m sure Moe will come up with something, so | Read More »

How is it possible for RedState to be both the cause and the cure for what ails me? If I didn’t care what RedStaters think, I wouldn’t ever log on. If I didn’t learn anything from what I read, I wouldn’t continue to be a daily reader. If I didn’t think any of it was important I wouldn’t have become a member in the first | Read More »
It’s the Polar Bears, stupid.
By: redneck_hippie (Diary) | August 30th at 05:06 PM |
Another thing the left hates Sarah Palin for is her fight against declaring polar bears an endangered species. Polar bears are not endangered in Alaska. There is, however, a reason the left wants to declare the bears to be endangered. That reason is to stop the development of our Alaskan natural resources. Here is Governor Palin’s article from earlier this year. The lawsuit brought by | Read More »
Too busy to attend the Republican Convention? Or, Dis-invited, maybe?
By: redneck_hippie (Diary) | August 30th at 10:39 AM |
Since Arnold is too busy with his budget in Caleeforniea to give a prime time speech on the opening day of the Republican National Convention, it reminded me of the convenient absences of our Governor of Illinois. The parallel is not that close, but it got me to thinking. See, when Barack is having a high level appearance in Illinois, the Governor seems to be | Read More »
