How is it possible for RedState to be both the cause and the cure for what ails me? If I didn’t care what RedStaters think, I wouldn’t ever log on. If I didn’t learn anything from what I read, I wouldn’t continue to be a daily reader. If I didn’t think any of it was important I wouldn’t have become a member in the first place. And if all of this didn’t matter anyway I wouldn’t be trying to write a birthday diary.
Throughout the election cycle this site has inspired, taught and rick rolled me. There has been shreiking, blamming, guffawing and windbagging. Through it all we hang together. It works. Even when we’re being 500ed up the wazoo.
