Isn’t Anybody Going to Challenge Jan Schakowsky in (IL-9) ?

Thought I would check, since it seems another challenger (Atanus) ran afoul of the election commission and, subsequently, a Cook County district circuit judge, due to a problem with the formatting of her nominating papers.

But (whew!) there is a young man who did make it past the primary, and he is Joel Pollak. He seems to be the six-term Schakowsky’s only challenger.

What caught my interest was hearing Eric Cantor on WLSam today, asking us to help Joel unseat Schakowsky this November.

Even better, I found that Sean Hannity interviewed Joel just this week on the tube.

But my second intro to Joel was a song he wrote and then performed this week at Daley Plaza, Chicago: The Ballad of the Tea Party. Take a listen.

I’m glad that someone has the chutzpah to take on a top insider in a so-called safe D seat. I want to see Joel succeed, and it’s not even my district. I’ll do what I can because these arrogant collectivists need to spend money and be bloodied electorally.

Think about this–it is a humanitarian crisis. Save Paul Ryan from having to listen to Shakowsky when the Debt Commission meets.

PS oops! I missed the interview posted by Moe in February from CPAC.

The thing with Cook County Republicans is that they’re usually just as liberal and corrupt as Chicago Democrats, but with an ‘R’ after their names.

Pollak may be the exception that proves the rule. Hope so, and hope he’s ready for a real rough-and-tumble down-and-dirty fight.

Cook County politics ain’t pretty, no matter what letter ya got.

Just saw from Illinois Review that

“Congressional candidate Joel Pollak went straight to national news sources with a discovery he’s made while researching his Democratic opponent in IL’s 9th CD race — that incumbent Jan Schakowsky and her felon husband Robert Creamer may have played an integral part in scheming Obama’s government health care takeover.”

Pollak blogs on biggovernment and here is his article there:

NO johnnymacmittromney-itis with this young fellow.
