Noting that there are provisions in Barry-O’s Orgasmopalooza spending bill regarding “green” remodeling of HHS buildings and others, to the tune of $300 million plus, I must ask. What will “green” entail and who certifies it? As a builder, new homes chasing “green” certification under the LEED program must undergo incredibly strict review, testing and performance guidelines. Outside experts must perform leak tests, heat emissivity tests, etc. So will Barry bring in Al Gore to bless these newly remodeled buildings or are we going to spend hundreds of millions of my dollars to repaint, recarpet and add wirelss Internet access? I’d like to find out WHO is performing all this “greening” of decrepit buildings.
