MEMBER DIARY

Its time to Unite!

I say whoever comes out ahead in the evangelical group needs to be the one to unite us all.

If its Romney, so be it, but today Iowa will decide and I say that today is also the day that most of us should decide.  Divide and conquer was Napolean’s strategy and we’re doing it to ourselves!  Obama couldn’t have done it better himself.

So i wish to keep this diary short and sweet but I have the distinct feeling that many will disagree with what I have to say.  To that, i ask, why should we not unite behind the evangelicals choice?  why should we let this fragmented civil war continue amongst ourselves?

I welcome any and all critiques.

vote for Romney as President under any circumstances. He can get another vote to offset my no vote for President. It would not be the end of the world if Obama get re-elected in particular if we keep the House. Our nation have in much worse times than Obama and not only we survived but we prospered than any other nation on Earth.

but if he’s the guy, he’s the guy….why won’t you vote for him?

I’m a spoiled brat and am going to go sulk in the corner if I don’t get my way.

he’s a progressive and I don’t want a progressive President. If the Republican Party is foolish enough to nominate Romney, the choice come November will be between two progressives and that is a choice I refuse to make. I won’t actively assist Obama’s reelection effort, but if Romney is the alternative, four more years won’t greatly upset me.

At least if Obama wins reelection we’ll have another shot at getting it right in four years. A Romney victory would mean that, for eight years at least, there would be no effective anti-progressive opposition. If anything can be worse than four more years of Obama, that’s it. My guess is that we don’t have eight years to start turning things around. We may not even have four.

The Republican Party has been warned. If it nonetheless chooses to self-destruct by nominating Mitt Romney, it will be tragic but hardly out of character. The GOP is, after all, the party of Mitch McConnell and John Boehner.

I am not going for the SOB Romney, period. May he can find one of those “moderates” to vote for him, wait, those “moderates” would not vote for him once they know Romney as the CEO of Bain Capital.

    weren’t they?

Sometimes the worst choice is the best choice?

Right? I should patent that line.

comes AFTER the primary. I WILL be voting for the GOP nominee, whoever it is (yes, even Luap Nor if the unthinkable happens) because we cannot have another 4 years of BHO under any circumstances.

But until the time that the dust settles, there is no uniting, because I really, really don’t want Romney as the nominee. I respect those that support him, and their right to to do so and publicly, but I cannot back the man unless he is the only alternative to Obama. If Romney pulls out Iowa, then it’s on to NH, then SC, then FL and the rest. Till the day everyone else drops or concedes, no way will I support the man.
