Still feeling the effects of the collapse of the Copenhagen scam to siphon trillions from the “developed” world to squander it all on dictators and failed states in the name of preventing or delaying “global warming,” the usual suspects have gathered again in Bonn to re-group forces and get the machine to destroy democracy and capitalism once and fall all restarted.

A CFACT report from Britain’s Lord Monckton, former science minister to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, at Bonn climate talks writes, “The UN is still demoralized from its failure to reach a global warming treaty in Copenhagen, but is (as Admiral Yamamoto once put it) “filled with a terrible resolve”.  Climategate was the first of a series of revelations about errors, omissions and evasions by the UN on climate. Yet most of the delegates here plan to do whatever is necessary to divert attention from the collapse of climate science, proclaim the sanctity of the UN’s now-discredited science documents, and railroad us all into a world government treaty that will be a blow to our freedom and prosperity.  This treaty would end democracy worldwide and forever.” 

 

Despite the leaking of emails from East Anglia University and Dr. Phil Jones’ dismissal for admitting he no  longer has any data the UN that the IPCC report was based on and has not been able to prove any warming trend since 1998, the powers at the UN struggle on because, like the Obamanation health care debacle here, there is just too much power and control in “doing something” about climate change calling to UN bureaucrats, a Sirens’ song of the left that can no longer take over entire continents by dint of communist utopianism alone.

 

Just as the US Congress did not give up the Dem. health care monstrosity (2070 pages of unknown horrors) and “won” by an unusual supermajority of Democrats, dedication, blackmail, bribes, political pressure, and lies (the executive order for Stupak), the UN representatives believe if they blindly keep mouthing the same slogans and making the same disastrous predictions, people will forget it’s all mostly nonsense (we are warmer relatively; 10,000 years ago there were glaciers 50 miles north of me in NJ) and join the hysteria once more.

 

“Carbon credits” are distributed at Bonn conference, a la Al Gore, just like the good old days when everyone was Hail, Mary for saving the planet from fossil fuels. But this time they are a mockery
by CFACT, who hands out international carbon credits at the UN Conference in Bonn, Germany. The bonds covered the “cost” of the delegates’ travel to the conference with the disclaimer: “CFACT’s carbon credits will not affect the weather nor climate in any meaningful way, but then, neither will anyone else’s.”
