Funny thing how the RNCC leadership

people would come posting here. Mr. Cantor, I live in your district, and, I even heard complaints against your votes in Charlottesviile, at a rally for the real conservatives, McBollingelli. You do fall much farther to the left of the Conservatives that will really make our state great. Hey, by the way, never saw or heard one event you had to support the new Conservative team. Gee, why is that Mr. Cantor. Also, why did you not have the first townhall event in August.

Mea Culpas are Mea Culpas, but, you have never given the first one, even after your vehement support for Cash for Clunkers.

Wow

Scope - that has got to be one of the least accurate comments I have ever read.

I suppose you missed the several events and rallies that Eric Cantor held or participated in for McBollingelli. Too bad, you probably would have enjoyed them.

I suppose you also missed the open town hall and forum events that he held throughout his district in August and since that time.

Here’s some advice, Scope, just for your own sense of personal dignity - before you casually tarnish a good man’s name, at least get your facts straight.

How the GOP and Blue Dogs can work together

grey Friday, November 6th at 7:12AM EST (link)

Rush Limbaugh made an impassioned speech on his show yesterday, laying out the real situation facing the Blue Dog Democrats.

He said that they can vote for the Socialized Medicine Bill, and please Nancy Pelosi for the moment, and face the wrath of their constituents — probably losing re-election;

OR

they can vote against the Socialized Medicine Bill, and likely win re-election, but remain on the bad side of the House leadership.

He added that Nancy Pelosi does not like the Blue Dogs, since they are not ideologically pure enough for her, and would be glad enough to have them out of her caucus.

I have a simple idea which may help those Blue Dogs who fear to vote against Nancy Pelosi’s wishes; at the same time, it will serve as an EXCELLENT example of true bipartisanship at this time of heightened tensions.

Nancy Pelosi does not want these people in her caucus; well, do they want HER to lead THEIR caucus?

Let’s get some of the GOP conservatives to meet with the Blue Dogs — can they agree to vote as a bloc to vote for a new Speaker of the House, and replace Nancy Pelosi? Say, with a CENTRIST democrat?

This ought to be easy to defend against the charges of “extremism” — after all, the Blue Dogs were hand-picked by Rahm Emmanuel. And it ought to be easy to point out the actual district which Nancy Pelosi represents is a little to the left of the mainstream for this country.

Just a thought.
