Barack Obama has lost it. He no longer even pretends to care about most of the American People. His swing through Rhode Island yesterday proves what a tasteless, classless out-of-touch jerk Barack Obama truly is.

The president went through a factory and attended a pair of fundraisers to bring him $500,000 in cold, hard, elitist cash. The stuff he condemns Karl Rove for injecting into campaigns against Democrats. It’s enough to make me want to condemn the man for vile and corrupt hypocrisy. Accept for one thing; he didn’t even bother endorsing the Democrat running for Governor of Rhode Island. He was so busy being condescending and petty, he forgot to even help his own party.

The Democrat running for governor in Rhode Island, Frank Caprio, is facing a tough fight with Independent Lincoln Chafee in his race for The Governor’s Mansion. President Obama shows his sense of irony by not endorsing Caprio out of respect for Lincoln Chafee. No, that wasn’t a typo or Internet fallacy. Barack Obama is not endorsing his own party’s candidate for governor out deep personal respect for Lincoln Chafee.

Caprio understands an insult when he receives one. He offered the following response to His Barakness and the endorsement that should have been decently pro-forma.

“I never asked President Obama for his endorsement,” Caprio said in a recent radio interview on WPRO talk radio. “He can take his endorsement and really shove it, as far as I’m concerned.”

Caprio further lambasted President Obama for not even bothering to visit Rhode Island during recent flooding that inundated Providence and caused multi-millions in property damage. He noted that even President Bush visited New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Caprio further groused that the President just flew in and used Rhode Island as an ATM machine.

Speaking of which, the Boy President was a touch of class and a breath of fresh air during his fundraising stops. At the sybaritic palace of Mr and Mrs Chace of Providence, Rhode Island, the President was to be fed the finest in locally grown foods, prepared by famous local chefs. He apparently is no fan of Lobster Risotto. Perhaps they don’t have quite the right soil in Rhode Island for the arugula.

His Barakness droned for twenty minutes, pocketed the checks and bolted back to his DC abode. He left the guests with an uneaten lobster and the following deep thoughts.

“I’ve got to go home to tuck in the girls and walk the dog and scoop the poop,” he said.

It’s delightful that Mr. Obama has finally located one of his shovel-ready projects. With any luck, the GOP RI gubernatorial candidate will also become shovel-ready thanks to his President’s pointed non-support. Seriously, this matters little as the sands of time fall to the bottom of the hour glass. It does, however, show us what an unmitigated mess the current President and the current Democratic Party have truly become.

The wheels on the bus have truly come off for Barack obama and The Democrats. Under Jim Geraghty’s worst-case scenario, they could storm back this election and remain in charge. This would be an epic disaster.

Even in victory, they are dead men walking. They hate America, they hate each other, they probably even hate their own disingenuous existences. The Democrats are truly America’s shovel-ready stimulus project. Things will become instantly better once we have walked the dog, scooped the poop, and buried the Congressional Democrats in early November.
