Senator McCaskill should be proud of Craig Woods. She said the following about whistleblowers back in 2009.
“[w]histleblowers are our first line of defense against waste, fraud, and abuse. We’ve got to do everything possible to protect them,” McCaskill said then. “Whistle-blowers who raise the alarm about waste, fraud, and abuse should be commended — not punished,” McCaskill said in an April 26, 2012 press release. “Whistle-blowers are the unsung heroes of our fight to root out inappropriate and sometimes illegal behavior in government. This is a good step toward ensuring we’re protecting them from being punished for their work to protect taxpayer dollars.”
Only one sort of whistleblower doesn’t receive her gushing and verbose hero-worship. The ones that finger her husband James Sheppard while he sells money from the ARRA. She doesn’t like that class of whistleblower and responds with pathetic butt-covering and character-assassination below.
It seems that Mr. Sheppard was fond of entertaining his clientele in The US Senate Dining Room when he closed his deals. Craig Woods, a former employee of Mr. McCas, oops, I mean Mr. Sheppeard, gives us the scoop on how badly the perquisites of having a family member in the US Senate can be abused.
Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill’s husband used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, a whistle-blowing executive inside his company alleged on an audio recording exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller.
“The thing that irritated me about this was he [McCaskill’s husband Joseph Shepard] entertained these outside investors in the Senate Dining Room,” the whistle-blower said. “That’s where he closed the deal.”
Meanwhile, Mrs. McCaskill seems to be receiving a certain amount of blowback from this whole scenario. Having hand-picked Todd Akin as an opponent for his utter defeatability, Mrs. McCaskill is watching her hold on office grow ever more tenuous. As the extent of the McCaskill Family perfidy becomes more widely-known and remarked upon, leading Republicans come back to Todd Akin’s aid. Rand Paul’s Super-PAC cut this ad against her recently.
Yes, Todd Akin has said foolish and ignorant things. No, rational adult Americans should not believe the uterus of a raped woman can magically spit out the seed of her attacker. However, Todd Akin has never used his position to funnel millions of dollars of money into his own family’s bank account. He has never deliberately supported legislation with an eye on how much it can enrich his family. He has never sold favors on the premises of the US Capitol. In short, he has never sold out the electorate who sent him to Washington, DC.
In conclusion, Todd Akin is flawed, but honest human being who could probably learn a lot if he read about science and technology on a much more regular basis. He is also not a criminal, a liar, or a cheat. He also voted against ObamaCare – unlike Senator McCaskill whose husband is sure to find a way to use it as a vehicle to cash in.
This is a very sad election because the People of Missouri genuinely deserve better than either Todd Akin or Claire McCaskill. The choices before them don’t allow this. So amazingly, I find myself endorsing a man I angrily compared to The Gimp from Pulp Fiction. Claire McCaskill is a moral reprobate who no longer deserves the honor of serving her country. So here it goes – “Bring Out The Gimp!”

He gave great answers to the ABC News moderators, some of whom spent the night fishing for sound bites that could be used to help the Democrats’ eventual nominee. | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES “On abortion, the Democrats are extremists.” Every Republican and conservative in America knows the media’s double standards when it comes to asking hard questions. It was especially evident this week in the difference between the Democrat and Republican debates. And it is the most evident in how the media deal with abortion. Sen. Rubio takes them apart over it. | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES What a glum, drab debate. ABC clearly tried to make all the candidates look bad, and the bad blood between the candidates left over from Iowa meant that they just did not care about showing any level of solidarity against the media, as they often do. Christie successfully tore down Marco Rubio for the first hour of the debate, | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES The New Hampshire debate on ABC was an absolute ****show from start to finish. However, there were a few candidates who came across as ready to lead, and there were candidates who took this debate as merely a placeholder until South Carolina and beyond. The governors on the stage, however, looked like actual grown-ups tonight. Jeb Bush finally wins | Read More »
