Pay The WH Price For Admission and Kiss America Good-bye

Influence Peddling. A Business That Never Dies.

More broadly, ….those who donated the most to Mr. Obama and the Democratic Party ….were far more likely to visit the White House than others. Among donors who gave $30,000 or less, about 20 percent visited the White House, according to a New York Times analysis that matched names in the visitor logs with donor records. But among those who donated $100,000 or more, the figure rises to about 75 percent.

There is another way America could die soon. It won’t even frighten you unless you see it quietly happening. It won’t even show up onarmageddononline. It happens a bit at a time, as more and more functions of American life are no longer handled by legitimate channels.

If Raising The Romney’s Five Kids Involved Work, The Obama Administration Would Underpay Her For It.

Can Anybody Say "War On Women?"

For a while I was just stunned to learn that the terrific, sensitive, caring and wonderful President who gave America The Lilly Ledbetter Act was deliberately and systematically underpaying his female employees. That was until Hillary Rosen filled us in on what the Obama White House really thinks about “The Little Woman.”

Fables Of A Reality Based Community

It’s Amazing How Many Women Show Up For Abortions At The Very Clinic Where They Protest Abortions…

An urban legend, urban myth, urban tale, or contemporary legend, is a form of modern folklore consisting of stories that may or may not have been believed by their tellers to be true.[1] As with all folklore and mythology, the designation suggests nothing about the story’s veracity, but merely that it is in circulation, exhibits variation over time, and carries some significance that motivates the community in preserving and propagating it.

(HT: Wikipedia)

Did you hear the one about the former radical Christian who turned into a gay-loving, atheist abortion doctor? Not if you aren’t capable of stifling the natural biological gag reflex that prevents the human animal from swallowing turd-piles. You’d have to accomplish this remarkable feat for a long enough time to read Frank Bruni’s latest contribution to journalistic integrity over at the New York Times.

A Silence Louder Than Words

Does Eric Holder Live Vicariously Through The NBPP?

Does This Strike AG Eric Holder As At Least Slightly Illegal?

Are you feeling economically disadvantaged? Want to make $10,000 really fast? We have just the deal for you. You too can take up a career in vigilante justice. All you have to do is burn your conscience in a bonfire and head over to newblackpanther.com for all the fascinating details.

You see, The New Black Panthers have expressed profound dissatisfaction with the fact that nobody has arrested George Zimmerman yet in connection with his having shot Trayvon Martin. This has caused them to demand that action be taken and demonstrated a willingness on their part to blatantly flaunt existing laws in the pursuit of what they call justice.

Displaying Racism Towards Racists Is Like Throwing A Boomerang

As a sociology experiment this fine Monday I’d like everyone to watch a video. This video features an odious and detestable racist. Behold a man who has literally used racism to continue in public life despite a criminal record of prostitution and drugs. A man whose criminal defense argument when caught perusing said hookers and smoking a chemical derivative of said Bolivian Marching Powder was “The Canine of Feminine Gender* set me up.” Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the perspicacious Marion Barry to instruct us all on the entrepreneurial spirit of East Asian people.

So how does this make everybody feel? Like punching Mayor_For_Life in his crack-smoking kisser? Do you feel less felicitous towards Washington DC because as Marion Barry put it “He’s not perfect, but he’s perfect for DC?” Or do you generalize this man’s detestable conduct far more extensively than it deserves? Or to put this more bluntly, does Mayor Barry’s professional conduct as a stridently self-identifying representative of African Americans justify all of us telling our children to have a lower opinion of blacks?

Restoring America’s Image In The World; The Canadian Edition

How Do You Screw Up The US Relationship With Canada? How?

Now, in fairness though I’ve got to say that Canada’s interests here are a little bit different. And particularly, I might as well be frank, particularly in light of the…of the interim decision at least on Keystone. …. Our energy [issue] is the necessity of diversifying our energy export markets. We can not be, as a country, in a situation where really our one energy partner could say no to our energy products. …. when it comes to oil in particular, we do face a significant discount on the marketplace because of the fact that we’re a captive supplier. We have made it clear to the people of Canada, one of our national priorities is to make sure that we have the infrastructure and the capacity to export our energy products outside of North America.

Canadian PM Stephen Harper

One of Barack Obama’s most obnoxious and arrogant campaign promises was his pledge to “restore America’s image throughout the rest of the world.” Well, it appears I’ll have to eat crow on this one. President Barack Obama has totally turned back the clock on how America is viewed abroad. This is particularly true with respect to Mexico and Canada.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper brims with great frustration at how he has been treated by our current US President. It’s almost as if someone has hit a “Reset” Button back to the Jolly Old Days of The Oregon Boundary Dispute.

How Phoenix, AZ Got A Bite At The Apple

Or, How Travis County, TX Leftists Could Go From Steve Jobs To No Jobs

So Gov. Rick Perry seems to have gotten over the entire debacle that was his run for The GOP nomination and gone back to doing what Governor Perry does well. He’s on the phone swinging deals to bring jobs and power down South to The Rio Grande. Well not quite that far South, he’s targeting Austin, TX instead. The Austin American-Statesman reveals details.

Apple Inc. is proposing to more than double its operations in Austin over the next 10 years, creating as many as 3,600 jobs in what it is calling its Americas Operations Center. The proposal was announced Friday by Gov. Rick Perry, who said the State of Texas has offered Apple $21 million in incentives over 10 years from the Texas Enterprise Fund to win the deal.

He may not have been quite ready for the presidency, but back home in his milieu, Rick Perry makes it rain like Vince Young at a local strip joint. One thing stands in the way of Gov. Perry giving Texas a nice, healthy bite off the apple – Travis County Democratic Party leadership. According to the American Thinker, the Travis County Democrats are attempting to hold the entire deal up so that they can exert control over who Apple Computer hires.

There Is Nothing More Pathetic Than An Adult Who Doesn’t Know “No”

Vero Possumus!

I like and appreciate both Moe Lane and Leon Wolf. I’ve been rewarded vastly beyond my limited abilities getting to front page on this blog with them both. However, they’ve each made a serious error in judgment this week which I’ll hopefully rectify in today’s issue of Repair_Man_Jack.

Leon and Moe have both weighed in on Admiral Obama’s reckless sortie athwart the iniquitous US Supreme Court. Leon harkens back to the old USSC decision Marbury v. Madison, and claims our Commander-In-Chef slept through that one in High School Government Class just like the rest of us working stiffs. (Never you naysayers mind that he was snoring away in The Punahou Academy). Or even that he dozed through it a 2nd time in Jolly Old Harvard Law.

Constitutionality And Thoughtcrime

Lithwick and Kinsley Roll To Disbelieve That The Individual Mandate Is Unconstitutional

I appreciate it when Dahlia Lithwick writes more often for Slate Magazine. It’s hard arguing that Liberals lack any fundamental gravamen or intellectual perspicacity without compelling, in print, visual evidence. She entitled her 22 March missive “It’s Not About the Law, Stupid…. Next week’s health care argument before the Supreme Court is all about optics, politics, and public opinion.” In so doing, she just summed up her entire contribution as a legal analyst for Slate Magazine. Mention the word irony to Dahlia Lithwick, and she’s liable to tell you to iron your own [expletive] dress shirt. She is woman, and you can hear her pseudo-sapient roar!

Lithwick seems particularly miffed that anyone would imply that Individual Mandates could run afoul with the boring, stodgy and out-of-date United States Constitution. She displays her Aristotelian flair for reasoning below.

Scapegoating Zimmerman

Nobody’s Sins Will Be Carried Off Into The Desert

“Then he shall take the two goats, and set them before The Lord at the door of the tent of meeting; and Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for The Lord and the other lot for Azazel. And Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for The Lord, and offer it as a sin offering; but the goat on which the lot fell for Azazel shall be presented alive before The Lord to make atonement over it, that it may be sent away into the wilderness to Azazel.” (Leviticus 16:7-10 RSV)

George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin in the chest and killed him on 26 February. Mr. Zimmerman was not charged and his actions remain under investigation by local and now Federal authorities. This has led to an outpouring of anger and several demonstrations by those who believe the American justice system has a strong racial bias against African Americans. Not all of this protest has remained within the bounds of civility. The New Black Panther Party has put a $10,000 price on George Zimmerman.

The President has done nothing that would lead to calm or pacification. He informed us that if he had a son, the boy could look like Trayvon. His campaign has sought to monetize the tragic shooting by selling Obama Hoodies for campaign money. He reminds us to search our souls over this as we rummage in our pockets for the $40 tab for one of his hoodies. Even the Commander-In-Chief wants his take from the till on Justice For Trayvon™ (and I’m not just being snarky about the trademark).

Budgets Force Choices.

When You Come To A Fork In The Road….

“A budget is values,” says Douglas Holtz-Eakin, former head of the Congressional Budget Office and an adviser to John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. “When you put together a budget, you display where you’re going to put the nation’s resources and what you care about.”

(HT:Washingtonexaminer)

Something went wrong with the universe after the Puerto Rican GOP Primary. Mitt Romney not only made an accidental relevant statement, he made an intelligent and acutely cutting statement. He pointed out that nobody with a time horizon much beyond November 2012 could cast an intelligent vote for the Democrats. His actual quote was “I don’t see how anyone who is a young person could vote for a Democrat, I’m going to be honest with you.”

The Worm On The Board Of Apple

Did Apple Quit The Chamber of Commerce To Make Al Gore More Money?

With Steve Jobs now safely on permanent TDY to Heaven, Apple Corporation is now the target for years of pent up frustrations. The charming paragon of journalistic integrity, Mike Daisy, has accused the corporation of outsourcing manufacturing jobs to a Chinese Gulag/Sweatshop called Foxconn. Foxconn workers presumably worked 12-hour shifts on the line with nothing in their stomachs beyond a biscuit and some tea.

This sparked great outrage because Mr. Jobs, prior to his sad demise, had attended one President Obama’s interminable fund-raising junkets cum shakedown meetings that he regularly holds with the Satanic 1%™ At this meeting, Mr. Obama inquired of Mr. Jobs what it would take to make iPhones in America. Mr. Jobs was egregiously frank with our Fearless Commander-In-Chief.

Our Job Is To Make Sure It Happens In The Voting Booths.

Nancy Pelosi’s lovely and talented daughter Alexandra seems to be hearing dog-whistles again. If I were as intolerant as Ms. Pelosi and her ideological buddy “Comedian” Bill Maher, the punch lines from this opening sentence would abound. In a recent safari to the American wilds of Mississippi, she caught the following footage of that curious species Redneckus Americanus frolicking in its native abode.

Barack Obama's Reelection Strategy (HT:Takimag)

Is it possible to turn on the TV today without being told how wonderful Barack Obama is? Apparently not, for on Wednesday’s American Idol – yes, the nation’s premier musical competition – the Commander-in-Chief was gushed and fawned over like a rock star (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

(HT: Newsbusters.org)

American Idol just got the memo a little late. You will probably not see very many ESPN pre-game shows for any collegiate athletic event without the ubiquitous Obama-Head being waved above the crowd of delirious fans. We actually are told by RealClearPolitics that “Obama’s Final Four picks are nearly all schools in swing states.” I’m relieved to no end that our Commander-In-Chief doesn’t fill out an NCAA March Madness bracket out in some onagerious fashion.

I Hope This Doesn’t Shock You. Chris Matthews is Bigoted.

The Return of The Sekrit Moslem Meme

Honest MSNBC Motto: "Lean Forward. Blow Harder. "

Chris Matthews of MSNBC believes some of the most amazing things. The GOP, you see, is about to outsource the 2012 election to the Church of Latter Day Saints – just like the Dems did when they picked a Senate Majority Leader. Here was Chris at his lovable best during Tuesday’s MSNBC coverage of the Alabama and Mississippi primaries.

…There not going to vote for President Obama. So who they going get to beat him. That seems to be on their mind’s now, not who they like. They are willing to outsource it to a Mormon.”

“It seems to me, if they can win — I said it’s almost like calling up India, or somewhere in the third-world to get your computer fixed. You don’t care who is fixing it, just fix the damn computer. They want to get rid of Obama so they’re willing to vote for a guy they don’t like or trust his religion. But they have no choice,” Matthews said during MSNBC’s primetime coverage of primary results on Tuesday night.

“They have three, or two RCs — Roman Catholics running and a Mormon so the three cultists running.

I will admit that sometimes watching Chris Matthews makes me think I need to get the computer or TV fixed. I kind of don’t believe he just went there. But then again, I don’t think Chris was ever tightly-wrapped enough to keep the hatred and spittle from freely flying. Everyone occasionally goes there. It’s just that Chris doesn’t have quite as far to travel on his journey as the rest of us…

How To Make The CBO Your Tool of Disinformation

It Wasn’t The Costs It Was The Phasing

Phillip Klein of The Washington Examiner is shocked. Phillip Klein is appalled. He’s shocked and appalled. It seems that he was the last individual in Washington, DC to get the message that The Affordable Care Act of 2009 (AKA ObamaCare) was going to take a wee tad more out of the national wallet than we were previously led to believe after the CBO estimated it’s ten year impact in March of 2010. Klein hyperventilated below.

President Obama’s national health care law will cost $1.76 trillion over a decade, according to a new projection released today by the Congressional Budget Office, rather than the $940 billion forecast when it was signed into law. Democrats employed many accounting tricks when they were pushing through the national health care legislation, the most egregious of which was to delay full implementation of the law until 2014, so it would appear cheaper under the CBO’s standard ten-year budget window and, at least on paper, meet Obama’s pledge that the legislation would cost “around $900 billion over 10 years.”

Carpetbeggers Can’t Be Choosers – Now They’ve Come For the “Game” Blogs

SPLC Proves Itself Intellectually Bankrupt

The so-called “manosphere” is peopled with hundreds of websites, blogs and forums dedicated to savaging feminists in particular and women, very typically American women, in general. Although some of the sites make an attempt at civility and try to back their arguments with facts, they are almost all thick with misogynistic attacks that can be astounding for the guttural hatred they express. What follows are brief descriptions of a dozen of these sites.

SPLC “Intelligence” Report, Spring 2012, Issue Number: 145.

The SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) has a long history of condemning so-called hate groups. They currently “track” 1,002 of these organizations via the SPLC “Hate Map” which allows you to identify just exactly how many groups of “neo-Nazis, Klansmen, white nationalists, neo-Confederates, racist skinheads, black separatists, border vigilantes and others” have set up shop in your beloved state. They even write The Hatewatch Blog which keeps an eye on the radical right.

But lately, they’ve run out of Neo-Nazis and Klansmen. This seems to have occurred from the diligent efforts of the SPLC and from syphilis and hookworm – but mostly from the syphilis and the hookworm. So the SPLC folded up shop, held a big polka dance and celebrated the fact that Americans no longer hated one another – just kidding. Their attorneys have student loans to repay like the rest of us. Instead, they just kept enlarging the set of Americans who !Hate!

Consumer Reports and Green Car Reports Fisk Fisker

The Fisker Karma has found yet another way to conserve our nation’s precious energy. According to Consumer Reports, it goes 180 miles and then fails. Once it fails, it no longer consumes resources. The planet is saved!
