Mark Levin Is Fed Up With The Palin Bashing From The Right (Audio)

As I noted earlier this week, some on the right are joining the left in the trashing of Sarah Palin and McCain’s VP vetting process. Mark Levin has apparently had enough. He didn’t mention names, but I believe he was talking about this.

Levin reminded his listeners who generated the excitement for the 2008 GOP ticket….”It wasn’t John McCain….many of us voted for him because of her.”

I guess this is why they call this “silly season.”

I agree she did excite the party, but there were many who did
not vote for McCain because of her. I think it was even.

That being said, I do not think anyone in the Republican party
could have won. They were tired of Bush and fell for the
hope n change. There were many R’s that voted for Obama.

Don’t think it will happen this time. It will be a very tight race.
Sarah is not that popular anymore. I do not know why Levin
keeps talking about her. There maybe a time for her, but do
not think it will ever happen.
I say move on Mark. We have more important things to talk about.

Let’s start with the real problem being the documented presence of weapons-grade stupidity inside the McCain campaign that led them to muzzle Palin *after* she excited the base.

Let’s discuss how blaming the *vetting* for this epic fail is really missing the point.

Let’s discuss how the McCain campaign’s sniffing of weapons-grade stupid led to a drop in his polling between the convention and the election.

Then, after we’ve arrived at, you know, TRUTH .. perhaps we can discuss how Romney can avoid this.

p.s. I’m reasonably confident, given that Romney faced many of the same stupidity-addicts in 2008 *and* has already demonstrated he’s not running the McCain playbook, that he won’t fall for this – but I thought it worth mentioning.

I think she’s honest and does what she feels is best for the country. And though I do think McCain completely mishandled her, I also think she’s not blameless in everything that happened. She did get skewered by the media unfairly, and I think they painted her in a bad light. However, she did completely flub the Katie Couric interview. There’s no way around it, she did herself no favors there. I think it was blown completely out of proportion and a non-story, but you cannot be a conservative and go into an interview, especially in hostile territory with someone like Katie Couric is just waiting to play gotcha and nail you to the wall, without being totally prepared, because the media will take any non-story and turn into one. And sadly I do not think Palin at that time was ready for a Presidential campaign. This time around, she would be a completely different animal.
