So far, I can’t tell the difference in results.

I realize that I’m merely switching from the ultra-left to the solid left, but at least it’s a small movement in the right direction.

The thought of aiding Microsoft in any way makes me gag, but on this one they got it right.

I’ve not bothered to even look at it yet – I’m thinking White Christmas.

I still have both a Google and Yahoo toolbar I use so I can be lazy.

Now you have me curious though, so I’ll probably go check it out.

Dogpile has been my homepage for at least 2 if not 3 years now. I think it was after Google refused to do something on Memorial Day one year.

Dogpile has been consistent in dressing Arfie up in patriotic attire for every event and is saluting an American Flag today.

The monopolistic Microsoft evil empire or the monopolistic Google evil empire.

vs. the overlord of Internet search. Might Google try OS’s next? This might be fun to watch.

I’ll be watching from the sidelines, as I use a Mac, alternating between Firefox and Safari, using OpenOffice as an alternative to MS Office, and am really starting to like ixQuick and DeepDyve for searching.

but just make sure not to click on any of the sponsored links? That would be those on the right plus often the top hit. That’s how it is on google anyway – isn’t that where they get paid extra for clicks?

It is kind of amusing to watch how the links on the right work though. I think you could type in “preteen sex slave” and get links pop up on the right saying “Looking to buy a preteen sex slave?”

When examples like this exist! Or did the words “OPEN THREAD” accidentally get left out the Title?

(little to do with Robert, or whoever else might put it up) The tone intent is more-so directed as “shock” to catch the attention of the Casual Readers/Participants as to not run off and create a couple line and/or Picture Diary of their own to start a conversation without seeking the RS:Rules/Help first. All FP folks have Exception/Exemption, but alot of newbies may not know (or Trolls/Mobies may just ignore the rules and cite a Diary like this claiming to not know any better). If a Rules Exemption note isn’t made or Open Thread clearly indicated many may NOT see it for what it really is like the die-hard RedStaters (or us 25+ year IT folks).

It is easy to forget the audience gets bigger (hopefully) on a daily basis, and they just don’t know yet what they haven’t been taught.

I kept trying to promote it amongst the others:

Plan to attend a TEApeat July 4, 9/12, Thanksgiving, etc…

ReTeaParty (for 4th of July) site

Contact the other sites and urge them to organize for the subsequent dates also:
Tea Party Convention – Sat. June 13, 2009
            09/12/09 DC Tax Protest
Tax Day Tea Party site with Daily email update signup
            Tea Party Revolution site
            FreedomWorks
            Alliance Defense Fund

Had a Family thing to attend that day. Though I’d have rather spent it there than with most the family that still has their heads still up their hindsides and automatically gravitate to the JackAss lever.

There is no example here. Quit beating that dead horse already. The front page is not the diaries section. No matter how much you want to change that, it’s not going to change.

Your objection has been heard and overturned.

      • http://www.hakubi.us/ Neil Stevens

Front page posts do not push diaries off the front page.

Hint 2: The FP has a somewhat different audience.

Hint 3: The FP has a somewhat different mission.

To be fair… dunno who is in control, but when you sign into AOL and the Google Search pops up, there is a flag graphic today.

I can’t get anyone to respond to my posts anymore, maybe I should go back pushing hard libertarian policies. At least I got some feedback on those.

BTW does anyone else think that this is the most unbelievably boring time of the year?

I’ve run out of confiscated ObamaBinBiden campaign signs to burn.

NOTE TO TROLLS: That is a joke, it is only you clowns on the Left that do that. We on the RIGHT do NOT condone Criminal (and just plain rude) activity like that. Nor do we encourage Flag burning (more, Left wing loon antics) as the joke above implied.

Remember before the Election how that one house had a Palin hanging from their roof? Could we imagine the … no sense in bothering to finish the sentence.

Some favorites I fly along Old Glory:

Or at least, it’s better. It’s not just them celebrating Flag Day (which is nice to see) but I think they’re going to wind up with a competitive product. Their ads are great and the site works well.

Google needs to GoH, as I said to one of my friends who worked on the ad campaign. What Microsoft really needs to do is make Hotmail as good as Gmail and rename it Bingmail, then send Sergey to the Salt Mines.

No brainer huh? On occasion I break out the American flag with 30 or 32 stars on it. It really confuses people, I get questions like is their something different about that flag, and I laugh. Can not believe some people do not even notice the difference. I have asked people, “what is wrong with my flag” and they say they do not know. Amazing.

  • TNJim

at least when he goes overseas. Then it has “I’m Sorry” written on it.

(spoken with French accent I suppose lol)

I should have seen that obvious one… and actually, I shouldn’t tease the French here – even they don’t deserve him. I felt bad for Sarkozy being stood up for dinner (more or less) by the big zero. If MooMoo AmARealNutJob had offered him dinner, he would’ve dropped everything.

This lesson brought to us all by the number ZERO.

I had an original 48 star that I used to fly on different WWII related days (no longer have)… Most people don’t even remember how recent AK/HI (AK/HI get exceptions) Officially joined us. The Star alignment goes right past most.

Remember Obama’s 57 States comment? Maybe that would be the ObamaBinBiden official Flag!?!?!

  • DONTREADONME

just make the stars yellow and the background red and make the red and white stripes, yellow and red. Then we have Obama’s USSA flag.

  • molybdanthan

that’s intolerant and inflexible. It needs wavy lines. The colors should be red, pink, and yellow. Instead of stars, it’ll have crescent moons, and lots of them. And, instead of a square or rectangular shape, the whole thing will be circular. The biggest difference would be you don’t salute it, you bow.

stopped using the goolge search garbage a long time ago. Google went into the garbage can as soon as they started censoring for China, it was just a hop skip and a jump away from doing it in the U.S.

  • tankertodd

Believe me, sooner or later Google will go down. Especially in technology, you must continually innovate or die. They haven’t proved able to do this yet. I think Microsoft has struggled with this in the past but Bing definitely indicates that they can compete. Can Google?

  • azaeroprof

Just for grins, I entered the search text (“Sarah Palin” rnc speech) into both Bing and Google. The top hit on BOTH was an article on HuffPo! Is there any wonder we lose the PR battle so often? Imagine the uneducated voter who just wanted to find out more about Sarah Palin and didn’t know that HuffPo was a wacko lefty site.

  • Kate_Shanahan

the lefty nerds in the google back room have been screwing with the data to make conservatives look bad for years.

  • DONTREADONME
  • Kate_Shanahan

All the pimply faced Moveon employees in their parents’ basements are furiously clicking away to insure everything is on the up and up with the traffic counts, so when HuffPo always gets the top spot, it’s cause it gets the most hits.

Yes, all perfectly ethical. Even the George Bush stuff with the bogus websites and bogus data was perfectly ethical.
