Some say that the fiery words from O’Reilly have double entendre for “gaybashing”.

I guess that depends on who’s watching.

But on the substance of discussion, I think O’Reilly has properly nailed Barney Frank on one of Frank’s many culpabilities in the Fannie/Freddie fiasco.

In short, Barney Frank must go!

Good work, Bill! Keep it up.

Just side with the people, Bill. That’s enough for me. I will forget that you’re a liberal/conservative, whatever that means.

He would not allow Frank to answer his questions.

He could have given Frank enough rope to hang himself by allowing him to make a point to which O’Reilly could make a contradictory counterpoint.

The average viewer may not know the facts surrounding Frank’s complicity in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and after O’Reilly’s angry pummeling of Frank (especially calling him a coward), I doubt the viewer was further enlightened.

Recall that Frank is from Taxachusetts, which has been able to elect the corrupt (RIP Mary Jo Kopechne) Ted Kennedy for decades with apparently no embarrassment or shame.

Don’t hold your breath that Frank is in any danger of not being re-elected: people voting for him and Kennedy there obviously do not care about morals or facts.

As of November 4, 2008, the Code Words will be: “Klaatu – Borada – Nikto!”

Bully and a narcissist. Which is pretty, much as I see it, necessary attributes to be a successful journalist.

But, he is the ONLY guy who at least tries to hold these people accountable. WHO else if confronting these people in government this way? Lou Dobbs a little bit, that’s about all.

Though O’Reilly’s “this person has to come on my show or else” narcissism does get old, last night he was the guy on the street who just gets tired of politicians pointing the finger somewhere else. Frank’s dereliction of duty is of monumental proportions and he refuses to take any blame.

Somebody needed to tell barney frank that, and Bill O’reilly was the perfect person to do it… Bill hit the nail right on the head when he called that fat waste of votes a coward.. Mr. Frank’s needs to lay off the frank’s, (in more than one way )and get out of congress…
