Years of Corruptioon have left America with severe decay to be removed.

America is suffering from a leadership crisis, despite electing one of the most electrifying young president, a senate with the average senator having almost 20 years of service, and House memeber with almost a decade and half of experience. This failure in leadership all points to stagnation instead of experience and comptency for the crisis at hand. A lack of new ideas has led to complency, corruption and de-cay. America’s instution now are infected with graft, greed, and excuses.

This malignancy was born in the great comprise between Tip ONeil and Ronald Reagan. It was that we would cut tax rates–What Reagan wanted– in exchange for increases government spending–What ONeil wanted. This led to the American public getting to eat their cake and have it too for nearly 30 years. This malignant compromise grew with each passing administration and our instutions and people grew accustom to getting a dollar today for a dime. It became the American way to burrow and purchase. Our government did it. Our business did it. Our People did it. For a generation and a half we have lived leveraging our future for today’s Sunny Day. Now the bills our coming do and what is our response. BAIL ME OUT!!!

Not surprising, a country citizens who burrowed their way into an alvanche of debt snowballs elected leaders who only know how to burrow for a crisis. Need more for Education, burrow. Need to fight a War, burrow. Need medicine for the edlerly, burrow. Need a tax cut, burrow. GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS BY DEBT, BURROW-BURROW. Unfortunately, the corrupted leaders that spawn this debt crisis are now firmly entrenched power. Their response has been to think we can burrow our way out of this debt caused recesssion. Do not turn a blind eye. They are about to enslave your kids, their kids, and maybe many more generations to their debts.

We all this know graph and see the future. What we don’t realize is the day of reckoning is TODAY not later.

This financial crisis has caused a curious phenomnon. We are burrowing more but paying less in interest than ever before. The chart from zerohedge.com below shows the monthly interest payments made out over all the federal government’s burrowings. As you can see due to different debt structures the government payments fluctuate. The line takes the payments and smooths them as if they all burrowings were one payment on a fixed loan. What you see is the line is decreasing. This is cause by the FED changing our burrowing to more short term instruments with lower interest rate and people rushing to the dollar for safety helping to keep it a seller market.

As zerohedge analysis goes on further in the table below. An analysis of what would happen if interest rates rose. They create different scenarios and analysis what the most likely scenario is. They chose the middle because they don’t believe the world can continue to lend us trillions of dollars and ask for near nothing in interest. The results show just how much a tight wire our government is walking. We are most likely looking at a 8 billion increase in interest payments. That’s a 67% increase with an average interest rate of 3.2% (Still historically low). If we go back to norms of 5% we are looking at an increase of 11 billion. This is just on the interest of the debt. It is not the time for new spendiing or tax cuts but for spending cuts and surpluses. We must stop our burrowing and start paying off the debt before the interest rates set off the alavanche that buries us.

Does anyone remember that old public service announcement with the Indian who looks over what has become of America and a tear rolls down his cheek? Like most Americans, I take great pride in the peaceful transfer of power from our elections. As the inaugural glittering generalities started to be replaced with a legislative policy, an oozy feeling took place in my stomach. Then President Obama gave his State of the Union Speech and a lump came to my throat. After watching the Stimulus sail through congress, reality over came me and I cried for the passing of America, Land of the Free and Home to the Brave, to Euro-America, Land of the Entitled and Home to the Bailed-Out.

Obama and Democrats say do not let a good economic crisis go to waste. Democrats laid out an ambitious timetable for President Barack Obama’s agenda, first steps toward Euro-Socialist America. A government grab bag of government goodies to the people in exchange for a life of dependency to the governing class. Obama calls the goodies new pillars for the new American Society:

• Government Pre-K to College currently being written into the budget vote in September
• Universal Government Healthcare a vote by late summer (Majority Whip Hoyer says August)
• Cap and Trade Scheme on Energy to pay for Universal Health Care and Education vote by   Memorial Day.

For the effects of a large expansion of government, the European social welfare states present a window on our potential future: standards of living permanently 30% lower than ours. Rounding off perceived rough edges of our economic system may well be called for, but a major, perhaps irreversible, step toward a European-style social welfare state with its concomitant long-run economic stagnation is not.

Unfortunately, the republicans seemed only mostly unified around opposition to the agenda which means no slowing of the debate. It takes only one defection and the agenda will pass. The American people want action deservedly so and will take a chance on burrow and socialism as to doing nothing. I urge all people to contact Republican Party leaders.

Three weeks into a fresh start and the President and Congress have failed us. The President and Congress took Obama’s call for an Economic Stimulus and did politics as usual. Barak in defending his stimulus in his editorial that this is no longer a stimulus plan.

“This plan is more than a prescription for short-term spending — it’s a strategy for America’s long-term growth and opportunity in areas such as renewable energy, health care and education.”

The American People deserved a debate and time to weigh and voice their preferences to long term prescriptions on energy, health-care and education. Instead of the short circuiting of any debate by coupling those decisions with stimulus spending. This is not change but the same old crap that has failed us. Anyone remember TARP. It is time for the Adults(voters) to take charge of the children(Government).

Take the stimulus bill long term prescription for health care. It calls for the electronic medical record. Your medical treatments will be tracked electronically by a federal system. Having electronic medical records at your fingertips, easily transferred to a hospital, is beneficial. It will help avoid duplicate tests and errors. But the bill goes further. One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions. Why Senators would support a bill that forces doctors to get federal approval on treatments before discussing them with their patients. The answer? Senators have never read the whole bill much less analyzed the 700 pages before agreeing to cloture (to end admending of the bill).

We need to start over on the stimulus. This needs to be done not to embrass President Obama but to stop a repeat of TARP. Republicans and Blue Dog democrats want the stimulus to be smaller and more targeted. The START plan written by Minnick, blue dog democrat is a $170 billion “bare bones” pure stimulus approach that would put $100 billion immediately into the pockets of low- and middle-income Americans, then use the other $70 billion for basic infrastructure projects that create jobs. Minnick explained to folks back home that he opposed the Obama Stimulus because it was so “Christmas-treed up” with wasteful spending, like $300 million for golf carts. Obama and Pelosi argue that the failure of past stimuluses is they were to small in size and the economy needs a combination of spending and tax cuts in the size of 900 billion dollars to have any effect on the economy. We, the people, deserve a better bill not one that is being used to stifle debate on healthcare, energy and education. Everyone deserve a mulligan and Mr. President and Congress please step and take your Mulligan.

The grand compromise could be found in Senator John Thune’s stimulus amendment. Senator Thune’s amendment would strike the entire $936 billion Senate stimulus bill and replace it with a $936 billion across-the-board-middle-class tax rebate for 182 million Americans. The amendment would result in a tax rebate of $5,143 for single filers and $10,286 for married couples who file jointly. Eligibility is capped for all tax filers at 2007 adjusted gross income of $250,000. This rebate meets conseratvie and liberals needs. It is quick and temporary but large enough to be the cure for what ails the econoomy. The recently unemployed get a cushion to get them through the rough times like extended unemployment. Families drowning in debt a life preserver to stay afloat. New couples starting out a down payment for a house or car. Tutition for the college student. A nest egg for those with no savings. For those who are doing fine a large windfall to spend, invest or save as they see fit. It gives everyone a financial jolt large enough to make a difference in the short term.

It’s time for the adult to get the kids to clean up their mess. Demand they take a mulligan using the Thune admendment as the starting point.

Some think Obama blew it with his vice president pick. I don’t. It’s part of a beautiful stragey to keep the pundrity and press so focused on drama and gimmicks. That’s all they report. An inattentive public will watch the spectacle. Never realizing nothing of importance will have been said.

I know this is truly cynical but really is anyone noticing the Obama campaign in one year of time has managed to say nothing. His opponents have but have been unable to break through the media’s protective coverage. While cracks have appeared in the hull of USS Obama. It could still make port into the White House.

He is sailing right pass the iceberg this national convention is for him. Could you imagine 4 days of Hope and Change in the most flowery language possible. It would be like a 100 word essay stretch out to make a 1000 word essay. It would come painfully obivious all Obama has to offer is just words for the next four years. Unfortunately, it will be the same ones over and over again. Yes no hope and no change from the mantra of Hope and Change.

My prediction is we open with the Obama’s biography. The next few days the Clintons take a self absorb moment to toot their horns. Press will wonder about the ramifications–will Democrats be able to unify. Then out to Invesco Field to learn “Obama is the one we are waiting for (HOPE) and now is the moment we start the CHANGE to heal the world.”

WHAM-BAM!! Nothing said but it did seem historical.

This is why I don’t bet my news from the traditional media anymore. Reporters from the Politico felt the American Public needed to know Obama has one house and Johm McCain seven. This fact may swing the election. McCain tried to desperately hide this fact. Obama campaign now jumping on this issue saying how could he be president. Multi-home ownership makes you definitely a resume killer and unpresidential.

Thank God. This presidential campaign headlines aren’t being driven by a pastgor anymore. Who wants to know where a candidate stands on energy, standing up to evil, what he thinks the country’s greatest moral failing and his. When should a child’s life be protected by the state. Phew!! What a bunch of crap.

Finally the media gets the public focused on the number of houses and what shoes they are wearing. These are things that can be used when in the voter booth.

Obama continue to take the high road. Don’t tell us how you’re going to change America. Take us to a new type of politics. How mamy homes?? What kind of shoes?? Is it designer underwear?? This is what the American Public needs to change America.

When the Sunni Sheiks were thinking of turning against Al-Qaeda, It was the time line that convinced them to act.
