Having already decided to cage protesters during the Colorado Democratic National Convention (sorta makes that whole “Democratic” part of that seem somehow disingenuous, no?), and have delegates pass by and look at them like a zoo exhibit, the Denver City Council has also found it necessary to ensure protesters don’t also act like their fellow zoo critters. The Council voted 12-0 on an ordinance forbidding, among other things, the throwing of excrement.
How is it that the Republican National Conventions don’t seem to have these sorts of issues from hard-line Conservative groups?
Of course, protest groups are insulted, because, they say, they’ve already signed agreements not to throw poop. Good point, guys. Clearly, you’re much more mature than you’re being given credit for.
Somehow, though, I doubt this measure will keep the bullsh– from flying inside the Convention.

What kind of protester lets themselves be caged up?
Mord Tuesday, August 5th at 3:17PM EDT (link)I doubt there will be many people in the cage, unless police use it for a holding cell. Why bother to show up and be mad then agree to just be mad when you are inside a secluded zone?
As for throwing excrement…I hope there are plenty of fans around.
