170 Republicans have now signed the discharge petition to repeal Obamacare. The petition was submitted by Rep. Steve King and has been pushed heavily by the Heritage Action for America (my new employer, as it happens) and other conservative organizations. As Congress breaks for its August recess, House Republicans continue to work on an agenda setting forth how they would govern if given the chance.  The agenda is by no means set, but it seems well on its way, with town halls across the country set up to see how well these ideas resonate with the public.
