A new poll released confirms what we all knew to be true: Chris Christie committed political suicide when he endorsed Donald Trump.

According to the Quinnipiac University poll, an overwhelming 72% of voters in Christie’s home state of New Jersey were opposed to Christie being Trump’s VP pick, with 64% of Republicans rejecting a Trump-Christie ticket.

On top of that, Christie has hit an all-time low in approval ratings.  The poll indicates that a whopping 64% of overall voters disapprove of the job Christie is doing, with Republicans being the only group that mildly approves (59%).  Democrats and Independents overwhelmingly disapprove of Christie, coming in at 86% and 66%, respectively.

So, even if Christie is Trump’s VP pick, which would be a horrible pairing, they will lose.  And apparently New Jersey voters aren’t forgiving him for his knee-jerk endorsement of quite possibly the worst candidate in presidential history.

Live by the Trump, die by the Trump. It should be quite satisfying to watch Christie and the other Trump bootlickers go down in flames.
