To hear Democrats tell it, Mitt Romney woke up on Saturday morning and announced Charles Darwin (on acid) as his running mate.

Obama surrogates’ narratives were uniform and sadly predictable: “Paul Ryan is a radical,” they said, who wants to take away your grandmother’s social security check… if he doesn’t push her off of a cliff first.

Some went so far as to suggest that this is pick constituted an “admission of weakness” by Governor Romney. They point to national polls – many of which dramatically oversample Democrats – to advance the idea that the presumptive GOP nominee’s campaign is in trouble. Of course it’s only early August, Romney can’t even dip into his massive war chest until after the convention, and the latest tracking polls from America’s most reliable national pollsters — Rasmussen (Romney +2) and Gallup (Tied) — report a statistical dead heat.

Countervailing facts won’t stop Obamites from trying to excite their liberal base and suppress conservative enthusiasm by peddling gross distortions. It won’t surprise you to know that your Blogger-in-Chief sees things a little differently, Save Jerseyans. Mitt’s decision to pick Paul Ryan was an acknowledgement and affirmation of the Republican Party’s core strength…

U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI): Principled. Articulate. Courageous.

In 2008, when this website was still in its infancy, I’d travel to political events around New Jersey to try and raise awareness about Save Jersey. I’d meet older GOP politicians who, upon hearing our blog’s name, would smile and say something along the lines of “good luck, kid.” And when Chris Christie wasn’t on most national politicos’ radar (or at least at the same frequency as Virginia’s Bob McDonnell), I argued day-in and day-out that Christie could emerge as a transformative leader for the Republican Party. The rest is history: the Christie campaign turned a formerly “blue” Jersey “red” by running on an objectively conservative platform. I wasn’t surprised; Democrats still can’t believe it. Nor can many entrenched Republican leaders!

The months and years to follow bore witness to Republican Scott Brown’s capture of Ted Kennedy’s vacated U.S. Senate seat in deep blue Massachusetts, hundreds of historic GOP victories in “blue” and marginal territories in 2010 and, most recently, the triumph of Scott Walker in traditionally union-dominated Wisconsin. What was the common thread? Republicans courageously and articulately ran on conservative principles.

President Obama’s failures are a matter of public record heading into November, folks. His job approval rating is consistently below 50% and “real” unemployment has reached once-in-a-century levels. I don’t expect his persistently positive favorability rating to hold, either, if he and his allies keep it this nasty. In short, Americans really don’t need to be convinced that the Obama experiment is working out. What they’re waiting for is a comprehensible alternative that (1) buoys their faith in the American experiment while simultaneously (2) appealing to their common sense.

Paul Ryan has repeatedly proven that he’s capable of doing just that, Save Jerseyans. I highly recommend watching the Congressman’s “Path to Prosperity” videos as well as his widely-circulated 6-minute smack down of President Obama and his healthcare scam. He has an exceedingly rare gift; otherwise, every true conservative would be the next Ronald Reagan. But they’re not. Ryan also isn’t Reagan, but he might turn out to be something of equivalent or even greater importance for our limited government movement. He’s on the right track. Only time will tell.

For now, I’m cautiously optimistic with three months to go. 2012 was never going to be easy. Incumbency is a powerful advantage even under less-than-ideal conditions. But if we work hard, stay true to our conservative, limited government, pro-liberty principles and successfully market them to the people, we stand a good chance of turning things around. Our party’s strength is, as it always has been, found in our principles and the courage to see them through. We win when we stand by them AND select messengers capable of communicating them. We lose when we don’t. Paul Ryan obviously knows the difference and seems up to the task. Now we’re sure Mitt Romney gets it, too. If he finds his voice, Save Jerseyans, then victories up and down the ballot will be close behind.

I still don’t think it’s going to happen, Save Jerseyans. I’m not even sure that I’d want it to happen.

But history often makes the man, and this could be Chris Christie’s time. All indicators (published and whispered) suggest he’s at least in the “final four” of veepstakes contenders; possibly better than that because I firmly believe Tim Pawlenty’s name is being floated as a favor to him for dropping out early and campaigning hard for Mitt.

So if Mitt Romney DOES convene a press conference next week with Chris Christie at his side, here are my top five reasons, in reverse order, explaining why his candidacy came to pass…

(5) Christie has been a very loyal friend.

Lots of folks around the country have been working hard for Mitt Romney for a long time. Few, however, have spent days at a time on the road raising money (in large denominations and amounts) for the presumptive nominee as he seesawed in the primary polling. Christie also jumped into the race and endorsed relatively early (back in October 2011); at the time, some observers thought it might’ve been too early to make a difference, and the race certainly continued to drag on for many more painful months. That doesn’t mean Mitt didn’t both appreciate it and make note of it. Most people prize loyalty, but Governor Romney reportedly holds it above all other traits. Chris Christie passes that first big litmus test.

(4) He’s Not from a Battleground State, But He Has Battleground Appeal.

Chris Christie brings a lot to any table. Significantly, he’s earned a 55% approval rating among registered voters in a state that hasn’t gone “blue” in a presidential cycle since 1988 and hasn’t elected a Republican to the U.S. Senate in 40 years. And while we here at Save Jersey sometimes disagree with the Governor’s decision, he’s been an active, bold and God knows confrontational conservative chief executive on the balance. Would VP candidate Christie deliver the Garden State to Romney’s column? Doubtful. Those things usually don’t translate. That said, I can think of plenty of battleground spots around the country (including right across the Delaware River in the Philadelphia suburbs) where Christie’s unique brand of Republicanism could help the Republic ticket put new territory into play. If Obama is spending money to fight in Pennsylvania this October, folks, then he’s probably going to lose this race.

(3) Christie… Hulking Heaping Hunk of Love?

You can’t overlook this extremely interesting aspect of the Christie success story. Two relatively recent surveys pegged Governor Christie’s support among New Jersey women (hardly an uber-conservative voting demographic) at 48% and 45% respectively. They love the guy! Relatively speaking. And it drives liberals nuts because they can’t figure out how a big, fat, boisterous Republican who cuts Planned Parenthood funding and calls reporters idiots to their faces could possibly appeal to the fairer sex. It’s fun to watch. Ironically, the square-jawed Romney may look like a ken doll but doesn’t do quite as well with women in battleground polling. Christie could provide a little help closing the much-discussed female gender gap.

(2) Christie Changes the Narrative.

Chris Christie’s celebrity would obviously bring “energy” to the ticket. Sarah Palin initially did, took, but this is a different kind of celebrity. Unlike Palin, Christie’s reforming spirit and record would have made him a household name before his hypothetical VP candidacy. Meanwhile, the MSM and Obama campaigns are doing their best to frame Romney as an out-of-touch, silver spoon fed, somewhat plastic captain of industry. Complaints from the Right usually contain the words “boring” or “unexciting” somewhere in there. NONE of these characterizations, however, are applicable to the Governor of New Jersey in any way whatsoever. His bio is much more middle class (check out my interview with Bob Ingle and his new Christie book if you haven’t already), and even his political enemies typically don’t doubt that this scrappy politician has the courage of his convictions. This contrast would aid the GOP ticket in achieving personality balance though perhaps not any greater measure of ideological balance. I also think adding Christie to the ticket would turn transform this election from a pure popularity contest (which favors Obama) to a referendum on the status quo (which favor Romney) as the Republican nominee makes it entirely clear to independents through his veep choice that he intends to govern “differently” in D.C.

(1) Mitt is in a Street Fight, and Christie is a Champion Brawler.

This last point is obvious but also the most important, Save Jerseyans. President Obama is fighting a scorched earth campaign in 2012, folks. I’m sure you’ve noticed! His surrogates continue to hurl wild, substantiated and often downright shocking accusations at Mitt Romney. As we were the first to report yesterday, he’s even emailing voters in the home states of potential GOP veep candidates in search of dirt. Therefore, I don’t think Romney can rely just on his superior class and character to carry the day. He needs to respond forcefully; thus far, as poor Andrea Saul demonstrated on cable television, this isn’t the campaign’s strongest suit. Chris Christie is a happy warrior. He effectively deflected similar attacks in 2009 when Jon Corzine went after him over breast cancer screenings with Reagan-esque skill. A vice presidential candidate’s traditional role is always that of the campaign’s attacker-in-chief. I’m starting to think Mitt can’t afford to tap someone with any less brass than Christie to win this type of campaign.

I enjoy signing up to Democrat e-mail newsletters, Save Jerseyans; it gives you perspective as to what their upcoming attacks and extremist proposals will look like.

Yesterday morning, Barack Obama’s New Jersey campaign sent out an e-mail saying that Gov. Chris Christie is on Romney’s short list for VP (I hope he is!) and that our Governor’s name has recently come back up as a possible pick. The e-mail goes on to say that New Jerseyans have to get “the truth” out about our Governor.

Team Obama has even created a website to collect stories from Jerseyans about Gov. Chris Christie and are encouraging their supporters to share their stories, “to hold him accountable on the campaign trail.”

As conservatives, I think we should submit our own stories to team Obama’s new website. Like the story of how Gov. Chris Christie capped property taxes at 2%. Or perhaps how Gov. Chris Christie saved New Jersey’s pension system for state workers. Or what about the story were Gov. Chris Christie proposed lowering everyone’s income tax rate by 10% and Democrats did nothing?

Let’s show team Obama that we are going to hold them accountable! Submit your Chris Christie story to team Obama here.

The full Team Obama email is just below the fold…

What would you say if I told you Mitt Romney is choosing our own Governor Chris Christie for the VP slot on his GOP ticket?

It’s time to start thinking about it.

Gov. Christie is on Romney’s VP short list and has been for some time. This week his name crept back into the news, and with Romney expected to announce any day now, New Jerseyans have a job to do.

Most Americans don’t know much about our governor. If and when Romney selects him, those who know him best — and that’s us, New Jersey — need to be able to share the truth about Chris Christie from the get-go.

I’m pissed, Save Jerseyans. It is obvious? I really hope so.

And over what, you ask? A lawsuit filed by the Obama campaign, the Democratic National Committee and the Ohio Democratic Party back in July that seeks to overturn Ohio’s election law restricting “early” in-person voting during the three day run-up to Election Day.

Why? Get ready for this one: Democrats argue that this particular law is unconstitutional because overseas military voters get extra time!

Coincidentally (ha-ha!), John McCain won 54% of the military vote in 2008. A May 2012 Gallup poll showed Mitt Romney pulling 58% to President Obama’s paltry 34%…

15 individual military groups are up in arms and they have every right to be. Could it be any more obvious what’s going on here???

The historic 2012 presidential election is likely to be decided by the electorally competitive Buckeye state just like it was back in 2004 (when, as an aside, your college-aged Blogger-in-Chief was proudly on the ground in Cuyahoga County fighting like hell for President Bush). We’re used to Democrat playing fast and loose with rules to get their way. I saw it first hand as union members tried to intimidate Bush vols at polling stations!

This time around, however, President Obama and his minions are taking it a step further by deliberately trying to disenfranchise thousands of Ohioans who are fighting overseas to defend our right to select our own leaders.

It’s sad, ironic, and nothing less than outrageous. And he wants us to believe this lawsuit isn’t politically motivated? Give me a break, Barack! Our country may be a too trusting/forgiving when it comes to politicians who used to fraternize with domestic terrorists, but we’re certainly NOT stupid.

But what makes this attack on our troops EVEN WORSE is the fact that Democrats are simultaneously trying to strike down completely-constitutional voter ID laws across the country. You’ve undoubtedly heard about Attorney General Eric “Contempt” Holder’s baseless lawsuit against Texas and his equally asinine “poll tax” analogy. Our neighbor Pennsylvania is also fighting to defend its own voter ID law. And have you heard about the alleged Obama Administration interference in Black Panther voter intimidation prosecutions? It’s another naked outrage and, yet again, one that is transparently political given the availability of ample empirical proof that such laws do not adversely affect minority turnout in any way, shape or fashion. Period, end of sentence.

Disenfranchising men and women in uniform while making voter fraud as easy as pie. How do YOU feel about military votes being scrapped altogether or, alternatively, being cancelled out by fraudulent ones… all thanks to a big money legal campaign conducted by Obama surrogates?

If you can’t bring yourselves to vote Republican in 2012 for any other reason, Save Jerseyans, this particular sad pass is a damn good reason to reject the Party of Obama this November. It’s no longer just a matter of ideological or policy differences. The integrity of our democratic institutions are under direct assault. Our soldiers fight, suffer, sacrifice and die every single day for us. It’s about time that we take a stand at the ballot box for them!

By Matt Rooney | Cross-posted at SaveJersey.com

On April 20, 2010, a massive explosion at BP’s “Deepwater Horizon” site killed 11 men and injured 17 others in the Gulf of Mexico. What followed was the largest accidental marine oil spill in world history, giving rise to profound ecological challenges and an economic disaster for the Gulf States’ already fragile economy.

Objectively bad, bad stuff.

But notwithstanding all of that drama, Save Jerseyans, President Barack Obama didn’t visit the Gulf until May 2nd. Approximately two weeks later. He took his jolly good time to respond in the flesh and show his face.

His response time has improved with time. Amazingly, it took the President just two days to visit Colorado following last Friday’s tragic Aurora theater shooting where 12 people were murdered and dozens more were injured…

Two tragedies. Both resulting in significant losses of American lives. Arguably, only the former had federal or economic implications. I still won’t fault the President for serving as “Comforter-in-Chief” and visiting Aurora’s distraught populace. I’m sure the families appreciated it. What’s interesting to me is how the President seems to choose his spots very, very carefully.

Look at the electoral map and draw your own conclusions. U.S. states directly impacted by the epic Gulf Oil spill — Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida — are traditionally “red” in presidential cycles; only Florida went “blue” in ’08 and is expected to flip back in ’12. Colorado, by contrast, is already one of the most hotly contested states this time around.

The Centennial State narrowly backed G.W. Bush in ’04 but changed allegiances in ’08. Hence, it’s not very hard to understand why the President’s handlers would rush him to Colorado while having adopted a more measured approach to the deep red Gulf States.

There’s also the issue of gun control and its political grist potential for Democrats who desperately need to keep the nation’s focus on something… anything… other than the horrible economy. I’m sure you’ve heard by now from a politically charged-up Facebook friend that a United Nations small arms treaty is due for Senate consideration. I won’t indulge any Fast and Furious-esque conspiracy theories in this post.

What I will say is that it doesn’t take a Machiavellian political genius to see how Democrats could use the Aurora tragedy to resurrect gun control concerns with a key gun-sensitive demographic – married women — who have thus far been lukewarm towards the President’s reelection.

So it would seem getting the President of the United States’s attention is really a toss-up proposition, Save Jerseyans. Being from a toss-up state helps. Deep red state residents would be well-advised to not get their hopes up.

Almost as obnoxious as liberal attempts to turn a tragedy into a political football are the concerted efforts to blame Batman himself for inciting violence.

Talk about “passing the buck,” Save Jerseyans!

It’s a little ironic, too, because Batman voluntarily takes the fall for District Attorney Harvey Dent’s death in the “Dark Knight” movies’ universe. Why? Because before Dent lost his mind and turned into a homicidal maniac, he was a Christie-esque crusading anti-corruption hero trying to stem society’s deepening decay in gritty Gotham City. Batman allowed himself to be the scapegoat in order to preserve Dent’s inspiring public image.

Batman is no villain, folks. He’s a principled superhero who struggles with his own issues while selflessly sacrificing himself for the common good. He also lives by a strict code of avoiding lethal force. He battles pretty wicked and warped characters. Any more disturbing than those confronting other fictional heroes in western literature? Or the Greek tragedies? Hardly! Batman faces these demons (and his own) in a manner that embodies courage, discipline, compassion, and all of the other values which we’ve traditionally promoted in our society.

Well, unfortunately, it looks like Batman is yet again taking the blame for something else which he didn’t do.

This time, I’m convinced it’s not in our nation’s best interest to let him take the fall…

The 2nd Amendment is really an ancillary issue coming out of Aurora. Yes, I firmly believe (as do all of those among us who revere the 2nd Amendment) that disarming sane, responsible, law-abiding citizens is 100% counterproductive if our real goal is protecting society. That’s a political/policy discussion, and I would’ve much preferred if liberals had allowed the dust to settle and victims’ families to grieve before launching into a vicious, hyper-personal and coordinated assault on the Bill of Rights.

But at the end of the day, Save Jerseyans, yesterday’s Aurora shooting is symptomatic of a cultural disease in two respects:

(1) Parents are doing a lousy job of raising well-adjusted kids with worldviews rooted in reality.

Does anyone doubt this particular point? If you do, then you’re living under a rock. Parents are a child’s first teacher. External cultural stimuli are all filtered through the moral, critical lens which our parents, close family members and friends help us develop at very early ages.

God knows excessive video game usage can have ugly effects. But life has been a lot uglier, shorter and more brutish during other periods in human (and even American) history. There was also a time in our history when the vast majority of homes had guns that were used regularly

What is it about recent generations that they can’t separate fiction from reality? Where is this disturbing disrespect for human life originating? Can we really blame Hollywood for a 24-year old’s inability to separate the villains from the heroes? Or have parents surrendered their primary and most important duty? And have the collapse of institutions like neighborhoods and churches made matters even worse?

The fact that the youngest confirmed Aurora victim was only 6-years old tells you everything that you need to know, Save Jerseyans! There are even unconfirmed reports of a 4-month old victim! No children that young should be out so late, let alone anywhere near an adult-themed movie like The Dark Knight Rises. Their parents need CAT scans!

(2) Schools are doing a terrible job of spotting and addressing anti-social behavior.

I’m not one of those people who think schools bear responsibility for screwing up kids. They can nevertheless make things much, much worse once they’re already maladjusted. How? A lack of discipline for starters, a topic which I have repeatedly written about here at Save Jersey. Extreme political correctness and a litigation-adverse administration usually gets in the way. The less-than-stellar parents discussed above make things worse by adopting a defensive posture when their kids mess up instead of assisting the school in exacting corrective measures.

We’re also dealing with a very real epidemic of emotionally-disturbed kids in America who, for similar reasons to those discussed above, aren’t being flagged and treated when tangible trouble signs emerge. Just ask a teacher what they’re witnessing on a daily basis! One recent study suggested 15 million American kids suffer from some species of behavioral or mental disorder. If that isn’t a crisis, then I don’t know what is! Our country isn’t going to like how this ends up if it isn’t addressed quickly.

We all see what the result looks like. Emerging details of the suspected Aurora shooter’s psychological profile are all-too familiar for these types of incidents; published reports allege that he had few if any friends, anti-social behavior, extreme shyness, etc. I would not be shocked to learn that, at some point in his life, a teacher/coach/friend/adult of some kind noticed how something wasn’t quite right. Why didn’t anyone, or any thing, spring into action?

As Americans, we need to revisit our culture’s approach to raising healthier kids and helping them when they’re going astray before passing the buck to the 2nd Amendment, Save Jerseyans. Nothing is more important.

By Matt Rooney | Cross-posted at SaveJersey.com

We’re all focused on the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado this morning, Save Jerseyans. Rightly so. 12 Americans are dead (including a 6-year old) and 50 more are injured after a 24-year old man allegedly opened fire in a crowded Dark Knight Rises midnight showing. Nightmarish doesn’t even begin to describe the horror scene that unfolded as smoke, bullets and screams engulfed an unsuspecting movie theater audience. Our prayers go out to the victims’ loved ones, the residents of Aurora and the entire great state of Colorado.

Now queue the wall-to-wall coverage, demands for stricter control, hour-long specials on movie theater safety and somewhat less-than serious lamentations over “what’s happening to our youth?” None of this ridiculousness, of course, will directly address the problem at hand: we have a sick, self-obsessed, violent, declining culture that places far too little value on human life and way too much on political correctness. Consequently, our culture does a great job of producing nutjobs but a very poor job of spotting and intercepting them before the worst happens.

It wasn’t always that way. In fact, today should’ve been a happy day in Aurora. The city’s name is derived from the beautiful astronomical phenomenon of natural light in the sky that is often observed in high latitudes. Aurora is certainly at a high altitude, one mile closer to the lunar surface that Americans stepped foot on for the first time 43 years ago today. An American accomplishment. A human triumph. On days like today, you can’t help but wonder if that was the golden age of our values as a people.

Some problems have no solution. Evil and crazy people are always going to be out there. Ironically, the plot of the recently relaunched Batman movies takes a deep look at society and precisely how tenuous civilization really is when destructive elements test its limits; Batman embodies the notion that good people will always need to sacrifice themselves to keep the glue that holds us together from melting away.

Despite the racial and war-related tumults that characterized the age, American civilization itself was certainly a lot stronger in 1969 because communities, schools, churches and families served as anchors. We were also less selfish; look no further than our politics. Did John Kennedy say “we choose to go to the Moon… unless we need the cash for prescription drugs and ethanol subsidies,” folks? Or did we set out bar a little higher in those days? Our sight a little further down the road? Our interests extending beyond our own limited self-intested?

How could a civilization that put man on the Moon seemingly resign itself to cultural suicide less than half of a century later?

The Moon sure seems far from Aurora this morning…

A reliable source close to Governor Chris Christie tells Save Jersey that the Big Guy is, in fact, betting on Rob Portman.

We all know Chris Christie has been one of Mitt Romney’s earliest, most vocal and frankly most profitable allies. He’s also a top-rung, influential national party leader and vetted vice presidential nominee in his own right. Long story short, folks, it’s only logical that Governor Romney would consult with Governor Christie before making a huge electoral decision.

That means Chris Christie’s Portman prediction is indicative of inside knowledge (at best) or a very well-educated guess (at worst). Either way, please take it under advisement and prepare accordingly! We’ll know for sure any day now.

By Matt Rooney | Cross-posted at SaveJersey.com

Sometimes you can’t make this stuff up, Save Jerseyans.

It’s been reported that President Obama’s supporters plan to use the Batman villain “Bane” from this summer’s new movie, The Dark Knight Rises, to attack Governor Mitt Romney. You know, because Mitt used to work at “Bain” Capital. The lack of originality from these folks is stunning, isn’t it?

I blame the public school system.

But the real irony behind this story is obvious enough to any true blue Batman fan: Bruce Wayne (whose alter ego is the famed caped crusader) might be the ultimate Republican superhero.

Think about it! He’s a blue-blooded, multi-billionaire industrialist/philanthropist who manufactures government weapons and believes in preemptive warfare… with his fists. Think Chuck Norris meets Mitt Romney. In tights…

And, of course, Batman’s efforts are supplemented the myriad of ingenious gadgets adorning his bat belt, each of which he designed and paid with above-average intelligence, hardwork, grit and determination. Much like his Marvel cousin Tony Stark (a.k.a. “Ironman”). That’s why they’ve always been my favorites, folks. Neither has any inherent physical “super powers” per se. They can’t shoot laser beams from their eyes or fly like a bird through the clouds. What they have is something far more special and potent: super ingenuity. It allows them to overcome supernatural foes, powerful mortals and tremendous odds time and time again for the good of mankind. It’s a profoundly American theme!

Sadly, not all comic storylines have happy endings. Just imagine what would happen if President Obama’s statist reach extended to the fictionalized Gotham City, Save Jerseyans.

If his chilling remarks over the weekend at a Virginia rally are to be believed, our Commander-in-Chief doesn’t think there’s anything remarkable about Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark. “There are a lot of smart people out there,” or so says the President. According to him “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that.” Ipso facto, Batman and Ironman don’t deserve credit (or proportional profit) for their lives’ work. Work that kept the people of the world safe from evil! Not to imagine employ thousands of taxpaying Americans through their respective conglomerates.

So here’s an equally chilling hypothetical for the Free World: what happens when Wayne Enterprises and Stark Industries relocate to China? Call it “super-outsourcing” if you prefer. After all, even superheroes live by the rules of economics, and they can’t pay out the rear-end of their tights for Obama’s redistributionist policies, massive tax hikes and yes, Obamacare, and still maintain their heroics-enabling wealth. Can you imagine what Bruce Wayne’s IRS filings look like? Tony Stark probably pays more to the feds than a small U.S. state! Less financially-endowed superheroes would probably have to mortgage their capes to stay in business. I mean, imagine the insurance liability associated with crime fighting! Are sidekicks independent contractors? What about superhero vehicles; is the mileage tax deductible? And that’s assuming a Batmobile-type car would pass modern emissions standards.

Yup… I’d move my secret lair to an overseas tax haven, too.

And if that happened, Save Jerseyans, it would make Barack Obama the most terrifyingly destructive supervillain either legendary comic label could cook up! Even the Joker and Mandarin - a homicidal genius and marital arts master – couldn’t vanquish their respective noble archenemies (and they had plenty of opportunities over the decades). Skinny old Obama? He could easily rid America of its greatest superheroes with a few well-placed EPA regulations and a giant health care tax.

But don’t despair just yet. The ultimate message here is to stick together, good citizens! There are superheroes out there among us in America. Men and women who bust their butts to support families AND dozens, hundreds or thousands of employees. As if that weren’t enough, they pay more than anyone else to the federal government because (1) the President’s party says they’re rich, but (2) they’re not rich enough to afford a team of accountants to limit their exposure. They’re a dying breed as a result and, if this pattern continues, they’re going to disappear.

They’re called entrepreneurs. They built this county contrary to Barack Obama’s idiotic, uninformed, manipulative ramblings.
