Oreilly isn’t afraid of Communists at the highest levels of the executive branch because the communists aren’t a threat to us any more?

How are they not a threat if they control huge regulatory arms of the federal government? I mean…somehow Oreilly misses the obvious when it is smacking him right between the eyes!

@$$ who “prides” himself on being an independent. I used to watch him until he got too full of himself & realized he really is not informed on most issues & contradicts himself. I did watch one show where he was trying to defend his position holding up Obama as a role model for kids (in a USA article, I didn’t read). Apparently he received some very negative feedback for that.

He is so full of himself. He is Ted Baxter. Beck will eventually own his prime time slot.

I figured out a long time ago you can get more done with compliments and ego-boosting than with nagging. heehee.

I rearely watch his show, I wouldn’t give him the ratings. I watched him last night because Glenn Beck was going to be on. O’Reilly was his typical self, he cuts everyone off, never lets anyone make their point, and speaks right over his guests. He knows Beck is on fire, is gaining a terrific following, and is a rock star to many. He couldn’t allow Beck to say anything that would usurp his number 1 rating status. I agree with the person above who said that Beck will take over O’Reilly’s prime time spot. O’Reilly is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, he should stay away from any political talk, and go back to advocating for abused kids, and runaway judges. I gave up on him when he came out supporting Global Warming.

If he did, he’d understand that pricing is only one method of competition.

Apple computers are much more expensive that PCs. Apple doesn’t compete on price, it competes on a) stability, b) built-in features and c) perceived “coolness.” If price were the only consideration, the only computer brand people would buy is Acer.

Similarly, if it became public knowledge that a health insurance company denied promised care to paying customers, other insurance companies would woo-away customers, even though their price might be higher.

This is why most businesses are inherently honest: Dishonesty eventually becomes public knowledge, and people shun that business.

I would ask Mr. O’Reilly what kind of car he drives. I’ll bet it’s a luxury car. Was price his only consideration? Of course not. Whatever he drives, he chose it for a multitude of reasons, probably including safety, performance, style and perceived “coolness” or cache.

He ignores his own economic behavior (choosing something based upon its utility, not its price) while scoffing the idea that competition ensures that very utility.

O’Reilly panned Jim Webb when he was ‘uncivil’ to Bush, so at least he’s consistent with Joe Wilson. I supported both Webb and Wilson. Unlike the Daily Kos replicants who said Webb should have punched Bush’s lights out — but pulled their usual online communist kult viral stunt against Wilson that has backfired. How sweet it is!

Hey Joe Wilson, with your million plus in donations, please be sure South Carolinan’s know your opponent’s money comes from that communist cesspool Daily Kos.

That The Great One REALLY doesn’t like Glenn Beck either….. mostly in snide references to Beck’s “Common Sense”. Anybody know why in particular? Seems to me they would be natural allies.

Over the past couple of days, the Democrats have backtracked somwhat on abortion and illegal aliens. O”Reilly is right to say that Obama isn’t a liar if and until there’s a piece of legislation on his desk and he signs it.

Do I think he’d sign a bill that doesn’t address those issues completely? Yes. But it’s still possible, hypothetically anyway, that the president could insist that those provisions be strengthened before he signs.

Obama has been lying about most everything. So, does that mean that unless he signs his name to something than it isn’t lying until then? Last I knew, lying didn’t require a signature. O’Reilly has strectched himself so far out on a limb trying to back Obama, he is now tettering on a twig.

O’reilly needs to call Obama what he really is, a Statist and a liar. Ann made Bill O look like a buffoon. O’reilly tries to be so fair to Obama, you’d swear he voted for him. Ann has it right, government regulators were asleep at the wheel when Madoff ran his charade. Government is incompetent, period

All people are human and have weakness. For some reason Obama got to O’Reilly and he is phoning in the next four years. He is supporting Beck, but letting him take the lead. Maybe to avoid being called a racist or maybe O’Reilly is little more left in some areas than we think. Healthcare is one of them.

I think somewhere around the time that woman made the harassment accusations he went a little soft. Maybe he lost the stomach for the fight.

O’Reilly’s show is based on not taking a side even when you know the truth. His pride is his weakness. O’Reilly is a conservative, but strategically pretends to be an independent on issues he sees as a threat to him. Glenn Beck presents O’Reilly the facts on Van Jones and O’Reilly laughs it off as no big deal. Coulter presents O’Reilly the facts on the dem vote down of healthcare for illegal aliens (Shows Obama’s dishonesty) O’Reilly almost defends him in an eerie way. O’Reilly suggests let’s take the chance and see what’s in the bill. If illegal alien healthcare is in there Obama will lose credibility. After it’s already law O’Reilly? I believe O’Reilly is smarter than that. He knows the truth, but disingenuously like to appear impartial. This is the weakness of moderates. They are at least some what afraid of total commitment.

He has always been what he is now except for a time around the election. For a while there he was aghast at the thought that O’bama actually might get elected. He continued the attitude for a while after the election but has now returned to form.

I was beginning to like him but the last straw for me was yesterday when he claimed that there were only 75000 protesters in DC on 9/12. There were far more and he should know it. He is aiming for fair and balanced but is missing the mark.

In his attempt to appear fair to the middle, O’Reilly is proving that he is willing to be disingenuous to get ratings. I am done with him.
