All I Want for My Birthday…


...is a McCain/Palin win.

That’s it. That’s all.

Sure, some national and local legislative wins in the “R” column would be nice too (kinda like pretty candles on my cake). But my best and most coveted prize would be the top of the ticket. Just that.

No need for ribbons or fancy wrapping paper, just give it to me straight, same as my whiskey.

The Road Not Taken


(with apologies to Frost and Dr. Seuss…)

Not so very long ago, as I endured my daily commute home up Route 7 in Northern Virginia, I was once more stricken with disenchantment as the usual parade of Obama bumper stickers flowed before and beside me.

And as I watched this dubious spectacle, it reminded me of the recent reports that ObamaBots have demonstrated the usual villainy inherent in their liberal souls by performing all manner of vandalism and brown-shirt intimidation tactics, what with destroying and/or stealing people’s yard signs, defacing/damaging cars possessed of McCain/Palin stickers, etcetera, ad nauseum.
