By: Moe Lane (Diary) | December 11th at 01:30 PM |
Charming: Unions tore down AFP tent at MI capitol, with elderly trapped underneath, while chanting “This is what democracy looks like.” #thankaunion! — Adam Nicholson (@acnicholson) December 11, 2012 Here’s a picture of the former tent in question. The AFP tent in ribbons after an attack by a union thug. twitter.com/AdamGabbatt/st… #righttowork — Emily Zanotti (@emzanotti) December 11, 2012 Moral of the story, besides the | Read More »
Republicans retain control of New York State Senate!
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | December 10th at 02:00 PM |
How did I ever miss this? From the National Journal: After weeks in which control of the New York state Senate was uncertain, the group of breakaway Democratic senators has struck a deal with Republicans to share control, the groups announced Tuesday. The agreement means that the Independent Democratic Caucus will have formal recognition as a permanent third conference in the state Senate. Dean Skelos, | Read More »
Watch Radio Host David Sirota Flip Out on Mike Rosen
By: Ben Howe (Diary) | December 7th at 05:47 PM |
This actually happened over a month ago but seems to have mostly flown under the radar. I think it’s worth a look. After all, it’s rare that you get the joy of seeing an established left winger completely melt down in front of an audience. No, wait it’s not rare at all actually. But definitely fun. Such was the case when watching David Sirota, a | Read More »
Inauguration 2013: Faith in Obama
By: Breeanne Howe (Diary) | December 7th at 11:00 AM |
While discussions in Washington are focused on the fiscal cliff, the White House is looking ahead to spending a record amount of money on a three day celebration. Inauguration day will fall on a Sunday in the new year, meaning the President’s official swearing-in will be a small, private ceremony as is tradition. The President has called for a day of service the day before | Read More »
VIDEO: Ed Asner – Truth or Truther?
By: Breeanne Howe (Diary) | December 6th at 10:31 AM |
If you’re still one of the few left wondering why California is such a fiscal disaster, it may be in part because they spend their money on videos like this. Tax The Rich: An Animated Fairy Tale is the newest attempt by the left to blame every problem in America on the wealthy. The video is paid for by the California Federation of Teachers, which | Read More »

The National Health Service murders babies in Great Britain.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | December 1st at 09:00 AM |
Oh, they don’t murder every baby. Just the babies that the National Health Service needs to murder in order to hit its ‘death pathway’ quotas thinks aren’t possible to save. Sick children are being discharged from NHS hospitals to die at home or in hospices on controversial ‘death pathways’. Until now, end of life regime the Liverpool Care Pathway was thought to have involved only | Read More »
Susan Rice’s Iranian oil connection? …And Canadian oil connection?
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | November 29th at 10:48 PM |
Well, well, well. It turns out that UN Ambassador and prospective Secretary of State nominee Susan Rice (she’s a multimillionaire, by the way) has some rather interesting financial ties to numerous foreign energy companies that still do business with that oppressive, misogynistic, homophobic, and downright barking mad insane regime currently controlling Iran. The most interesting one of those is Royal Dutch Shell, which has about | Read More »
Getting The Revenge They Voted For – Practical Uses of The Fiscal Cliff
By: Repair_Man_Jack (Diary) | November 29th at 12:02 PM |
Well, well, well. We have another crisis. It’s called “The Fiscal Cliff” and it just can’t go to waste. Somewhere, probably in the same non-descript warehouse that the GOP stores Dick Cheney’s old weather control ray, Evil Republicans are plotting….They want to steal MY2K!*
Well, no. They don’t want to steal anyone’s 2K and they lack the power to if they tried. This is not MY2K. This money belongs to people who generally (but with some hideous exceptions) are among the smartest, hardest-working and capable in America. I wrote earlier concerning the morally detestable class-warfare Democrats.
Any person who voted for Barack Obama for the express purpose of having him utilize the US tax and regulatory apparatus to take money away from the rich and give it to them personally, is the moral equivalent of a bank robber. Neither I, nor any other person alive, is entitled to two red cents out of another person’s stash just because we don’t have as much.

Gov. John Hickenlooper (D, CO) to set up task force to stymie pot legalization.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | November 28th at 02:00 PM |
I’m translating. Gov. John Hickenlooper will create a task force to deal with the fallout from the state’s legalization of marijuana use, possession and sales. ‘Fallout.’ See, right there you can determine the tone that the Denver Post was encountering from the office of the Governor. Later on… The task force is to include state officials, lawmakers, marijuana advocates and other “stakeholders” — likely a | Read More »
The Lost Irony in the Tax Debate
By: Daniel Horowitz (Diary) | November 27th at 12:37 PM |
There is an uncanny irony that has emerged from the bowels of the tax fight – one that is lost in all the banal details of the pitched battle. Democrats have fallen in love with the Bush tax cuts, which they fought so vociferously to block in 2001 and 2003. While the Democrats are demanding that we raise taxes on the rich, they are stridently | Read More »
Barack Obama ‘thinking’ of backing off of no-corporate-money for Inauguration.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | November 23rd at 07:30 PM |
Hey, guess what? Barack Obama’s not running for anything any more! Which means that he officially no longer has to care about progressive sensibilities. President Barack Obama’s fundraising advisers have urged the White House to accept corporate donations for his January 2013 inaugural celebration rather than rely exclusively on weary donors who underwrote his $1 billion re-election effort. People involved in his re-election campaign said White | Read More »
I have a radical suggestion about Jesse Jackson, Jr.’s vacated IL-02 seat.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | November 21st at 09:30 PM |
Now that he’s resigned it… how’s about trying to, maybe, I don’t know: win it? Hold on, hear me out. Let’s jump back for a second to 2009. You might remember that in 2009 Rahm Emanuel resigned his House seat (IL-05) in order to bungle being White House Chief of Staff. Well, that caused a special election to trigger, and at the time I took | Read More »
Susan Estrich’s barren complaints about Obama’s future tax hike plans.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | November 20th at 04:30 PM |
If she was a guy, I’d be calling said complaints “impotent.” [snip of all the reasons why Susan Estrich reflexively - and, alas, stereotypically - voted for Barack Obama] I did not vote for Obama because I think I am paying too little in taxes. While I think that it’s adorable that Susan Estrich thinks that Barack Obama cares about why anybody did or did | Read More »
Election 2012: More-of-the-same on the state level, only intensified.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | November 19th at 09:00 PM |
[UPDATE]: Welcome to the wonderful world of ‘unsexy races are harder to track.’ Apparently the NH House and ME Senate race results haven’t yet been fully certified yet, which is why the AP is saying one thing and Ballotpedia is saying another. Looking it over, I’d say that the maps should be changed to NH and ME being made blue on both… which does not | Read More »
